Susan was still ruminating on the bullying she had endured from a stranger

Grimacing Susan clenched her jaw and her grip on the steering wheel tightened.
Scarlett, fearful of pulling the steering wheel ott, nodded and said yes as she instructed her to drive

Chatting continuously, they arrived at the supermarket. After purchasing a large quantity of food, they
drove home. When they returned home and went into the kitchen to cook dinner. Cosmo just happened

Greeting Scarlett, he rolled up his sleeves and took the knife from Susan.
“You two go out and watch TV for a bit. I’ll take care of this place”

When Susan realized that she had been deliberately feigning heartlessness, she felt even more
uneasy.
“Scarlett, I’m sure you’ll find someone even better in the future,”
She had no desire for Scarlett to nurry into a wealthy famuly; her only wish was that Scarlett would find
someone who would treat her kindly, so that she could be at ease
“Yes, there will surely be more to come.”
