MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Liam’s brows collided as he stared down at his drama queen wife who refused to move from the floor. without wasting any much time he crotched down and lifted her up with him.

Liam laid her on one side of the bed and planted a quick kiss on her lips which she didn’t react to. “Good night and sweet dreams” he whispered teasingly into her ear.

She drew the duvet to cover her body, Liam shook his head and turned the lights off.

“How romantic of my so called husband, he knows well that I am upset and he didn’t try to pacify me in any way”

Liam raised his head in worry as he glanced at the direction Amelia ran off to so suddenly.

He got out of bed and headed into the bathroom to check up on her.

“Are you alright?” He asked worriedly holding her hair in place.

Amelia splashed some water on her face and raised her head upwards.

“I’m feeling nauseous”

She felt her stomach shift, and in the next moment she was throwing up again.

Liam patted her back slowly “I’m sure your stomach is just reacting to something you ate”

She splashed some more water to her face and wiped her face with a face towel.

Liam led her back to the room and carefully tucked her back to bed.

“Have a rest I will get mum for you”

She waved off the idea, her mum will just get worried for no good reason. She tried to think of something that she might have eaten that was reacting with her system but nothing was coming forth to her mind.

“Liam we will talk to her at dawn right now you have to get some sleep also”

He whispered and laid next to her, he placed an arm around her waist rubbing her tummy gently to ease her discomfort if there was any..

Amelia folded her arm as her mum ran several test on her. “Mum just get this over with I’m starting to feel sick staying in this hospital”

Cecile rolled her eyes “You’ve always been sick, we just have to be patient dear your test result will be out soon”

Liam squeezed her hand slightly “You don’t have to be scared I’m here”

She nodded and rested her head on his arm, she wanted to leave as soon as possible. “You are the best” she mumbled.

Cecile had a never ending grin on her lips as she stared at the two, she prayed silently for her suspicion to come true..

A nurse walked into the laboratory searching for Amelia’s test result. She turned towards the monitor in front of her and ran her fingers for a while on the keyboard.

She pulled off her nose mask and smiled, “I told you very clearly Amelia that I won’t rest till I destroy every thing you love”

Jane wore back her mask when she heard footsteps approaching where she was.

“What are you doing?”.

“I came for the test results for Amelia Hart”

The lab assistant walked over to the monitor “The results will be out soon”

Anthony stepped out of his car and stared at the hospital in front of him. “How long can you keep my daughter away from me Cecile?” he mumbled.

Liam’s phone beeped, he brought it out from his pocket and stared down at the screen. He stared around in search for Cecile.

Amelia noticed his restless movement and raised her head from his arm to stare at his face. “Is something wrong?”

Liam forced a smile at her “Not at all, I almost forgot that I had an important meeting, come on I will drop you off”

Amelia held him back shaking her head, “No Liam let’s wait for my result it will be out soon after that we can leave” she concluded.

Liam took a glance at her, how was he suppose to refuse her now? he didn’t want Amelia to meet her dad since mum Cecile already entrusted him with this responsibility.

“Miss Hart your results are out!” a nurse suddenly appeared before them with a white envelope.

Liam collected the envelope from the nurse, however it was pulled out of his grip the next minute by Amelia. “Since this reports are mine I will read it first!”

“I’m the one to read it first don’t try to argue with me”

“But it’s my body not yours”

Cecile’s gaze narrowed at her troublesome daughter, she walked towards the two who were bickering and snatched the report from Amelia.

“Since you both are having a hard time choosing who reads the report first, why don’t I go first”

Amelia’s lips twitched a bit, it was her report but they were fighting for it like it’s their inheritance.

“Fine have it your way!”

Cecile hurriedly tore open the envelope and read through it. Her brows creased as she read through.

“Mum tell us what does it say?”

Cecile squeezed the report in her palm and placed it on Amelia’s hand. “Why don’t you see for yourself!” Cecile mumbled irritably and left.

Liam picked the report and straightened it for better view. He read through the contents and sighed.

“Liam what does it say?”

“I’m late for a meeting” he said handing the report back to her.

Liam entered the car and signalled the driver to move, Amelia ran after his car but gave up as soon as it sped off.

Jane came out of the hospital putting on a black hoodie and blonde wig to disguise herself.

She smiled in victory on seeing Amelia’s devastated condition.

A car pulled over beside her, she entered the backseat and took off her wig.

“I’ve done my part, make yours quick I need to be in the asylum before Liam finds out that I’m gone”
