MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Amelia tapped her feet impatiently, she has been standing in front of Liam for a while now and he hasn’t noticed her presence yet.

She closed down his laptop and took it along with her.

“Amelia that was an important presentation” Liam mumbled going after her.

She sat down in the middle of the bed clutching the laptop to her chest.

“Important? and me? if you really love your laptop so much why don’t you get married to it and then let me go!”

Liam massaged his temples, he didn’t even know how to react to this. was she really jealous of his laptop?

He sat down on the bed next to her “I can’t believe how dramatic you can get I just wanted you to have a little rest given you are ill”

Amelia threw her face to the other side, she wasn’t going to have any of his words today. Today he has to make a decision, he has to choose between she and his laptop.

“You won’t be able to convince me”

“Listen to me young lady I’m your husband which means I’m more superior to you so hand me my laptop”

Amelia gasped and narrowed her eyes at him, she stood up on the bed staring down at him.

“Mr arrogant! you think you can use that against me? I won’t give this to you no matter what!”

Liam caught hold of her ankles and pulled her down softly. “Don’t try to create trouble for yourself miss”

“Miss?”

Amelia jumped on his back and held onto him tightly. “Now I would make sure you pay for ignoring me Mr Arrogant”

“Are you trying to say that I am fat?!”

“you’ve said that a lot of times dear husband and I’m not falling for that lie ever again” she grumpily stated pressing herself on him..

There was a slight knock on the door before it pushed open. Chloe came inside rubbing her eyes. “Big sis” she called out.

Amelia glanced towards the little girl calling out her name. She kicked Liam by his sides to make him move forward.

“yes darling?”

Chloe’s eyes widened in Glee and surprise, she stretched forth her hands towards Liam.

“Big bro”

Liam sent her a deadly glare only to receive a bite on his neck. “Pick her up and don’t you dare refuse”

“wait! what? I can’t possibly carry two babies” he turned towards Chloe. “Go and meet one of the servants now leave”

Amelia jumped down from his back and stretched a bit. “Don’t worry Liam we would leave your room so enjoy!”

She took Chloe’s small hand and led her out of the room. “Amelia wait!”

Mark entered the apartment which was dark, he was about to turn on the lights when it came on. he was a bit startled and was even more scared when he saw the chilly gaze old Grayson gave him.

He presented a smile going to his father’s side “You are still awake?”

“Where were you earlier today? and don’t think about lying to me!”

Mark sighed “If you knew where I went to then why the question? look father I don’t think I owe you any explanation on where I was at or not I’m not longer a child for you to worried”

Mark walked past old Grayson and stopped once he heard his father speaking.

“Aren’t you tired of being humiliated? you went back to that cursed child of yours and…..

“Liam is not cursed father!” Mark lashed out.

Old Grayson’s eyes flashed with anger, he rose up on his feet walking gently to mark with his hands behind his back.

“You dared raise your voice at me?”

“Liam is I and Brianna’s child and he can never be cursed! and no matter what he does I don’t hold any grudge against him and do you know why? because he is my flesh and blood but that rule doesn’t apply to you and I want to know why!”

Mark said in one breath, maybe they were taking his silence as weakness and using it as an advantage.

“You are defending the boy who threw you out of the ancestral home? he chased every single one of us out and you stand here talking back at me?”

“Everyone of us has wronged Liam one way or the other and we are facing our punishments, do you remember that Liam was only eight years old when you chased him out of the house?”

Old Grayson’s fist tightened “Yes I had to do that because I don’t want anything related to Brianna living in my house”

“And now? you are living in the house fit for beggars, throw your arrogance aside and beg Liam for forgiveness before your hatred get the best out of you!”

Mark said and left the living room, sooner or later someone has to tell old Grayson the truth about his greedy needs..

Cecile handed the drugs meant for Amelia’s fever to Stephanie. “Go and give this to Amelia, she needs to take this so that her fever can subside”

“Yes ma’am” she said and left hurriedly for the kitchen.

Stephanie glanced around the kitchen to ensure no one was coming. She replaced the drugs with a new one she took out from her pockets.

Her phone vibrated in her pockets, when she saw the caller her face brightened. “Yes I did just as you instructed”

Amelia sat beside Chloe stroking her hair gently, she closed the bedtime story book and was about to turn off the lights.

She heard a knock on the door, thinking it was Liam she ignored it, it came again. “Liam never knocks twice, that arrogant man” she huffed and walked towards the door.

The new maid came in view with a glass of milk and her pills. “Your mum sent this for you”

Amelia smiled at her and was about to collect it but it was snatched away from her grip.

“I will take it from here you might leave now” Liam said dismissing the maid.

Stephanie turned around and left the corridor, Liam stepped into the room pulling Amelia along with him.

“Here have this, I know you won’t take the pills without a proper supervision so here I am!”

Amelia threw her face to the other side feigning anger. “Since you’ve touched it I won’t have any of it!”

Liam placed the glass of milk on the table, he took one of the pills from it’s container and pushed it into her mouth before handing her the glass of milk which she drank hurriedly to wash off the drug’s bitter taste.

“There! that wasn’t so bad” he turned towards the bed and smiled seeing the little devil finally asleep.

“Oh great! she is finally asleep now it’s time to get our own sleep” he commented taking Amelia out but he was surprised when she suddenly sat on the floor to avoid being pulled by him.
