From Contract To All My Life: I Own You

Chapter 38 First Encounter With Wilson

Chapter 38 First Encounter With Wilson

Amy was a cold beauty. She had always been cold to people except those who she had accepted from

the bottom of her heart.

Amy was moved by the strange man's care for her, but she would not give up the toughness she had

built in her heart for many years. For so many years, she had only her mother in her life. Except her

mother, she had never received any care from anyone, and she didn't think she needed anyone to care

about her.

It was not until she met Joy that she finally believed that a person who was neither relative nor friend to

you would treat you well regardless of life. Perhaps, Joy was changing her step by step. At least, she

was willing to believe others' sincerity.

"Thank you for your concern. I know you are kind-hearted, but I don't need to bandage."

Amy turned around and walked forward slowly, with a relieved smile on her originally cold face.

This was the second time that Amy thanked someone, and the first time she thanked Joy.

Amy walked into the tent. When she saw Joy sitting on the bed safe and sound, she couldn't control

her emotions any more. She ran up and hugged Joy, tears streaming down her face.

Joy didn't see how Amy came in, nor did she see what Amy was doing. As she blinked her eyes, she

only felt a black shadow coming, and her head was held in someone's arms.

"Joy, that's great. You're fine. That's great."

"If something happens to you and you get hurt because of me, what should I do?"

Struggling, Joy stopped when she heard Amy's choked words. She understood Amy's fear and

sadness and was very happy. At this moment, Amy finally accepted her completely.

At this moment, Amy cried like a helpless child, which made Joy feel sorry for her.

It was easy to destroy a friendship, but it was difficult to build a true friendship. Joy had never been a

real friend. This time, she firmly believed that she had obtained a precious thing for her in her life. That

was called friendship.

Joy reached out her hands and hugged Amy back. She was so happy that her tears were

uncontrollable. Just a few hours ago, she thought they would all be buried in the ruins.

The two cried for a long time, but Joy was the first to calm down. She raised her head from Amy's arms

and wiped her tears. Looking at the cold Amy crying, Joy felt that Amy was much lovely.

'This was the real her, but Amy had suppressed her true emotions too much before.'

Joy raised her hand to hold up the red face of Amy because of crying and joked with a smile, "Well,

don't cry. When someone sees you crying like this, he may say that I bullied you."

Amy turned tears into smiles, glared at her, and said angrily, "You know what? If it weren't for you,

would I cry like this?" Amy crossed her arms and sat on the bed angrily, ignoring Joy.

Knowing that Amy was throwing a tantrum, Joy didn't get angry. She walked up to Amy and tugged at

the corner of Amy's clothes, pretending to be pitiful.

Amy ignored her and turned to the other side.

Joy walked to her again, but Amy still turned around and ignored her.

This made Joy a little depressed and didn't know what to do.

After thinking for a while, Joy suddenly came up with an idea. She rolled her big watery eyes and

pushed Amy on the bed, tickling Amy.

Amy was very sensitive, especially afraid of itch. She was at a loss whether to cry or to laugh when

being tickled by her, and immediately surrendered to Joy, but Joy didn't let her go.

The small tent was filled with happy laughter, as melodious as the wind bell. The passers-by could not

help but feel happy when they heard the pure laughter.

Since the two of them were injured in different degrees, the next day, the two of them did not write any

report, but chose to rest in the tent for a day.

Taking advantage of this time, the two of them sent the reports back to Adam.

"Mr. Adam, if you hadn't come here in person, you wouldn't have imagined how great life could be and

how many miracles it could make. Nothing is worth mentioning in front of life."

There was undisguised excitement in Joy's voice.

Adam was very happy before. The first day he learned from Ryan that the two people were almost

buried under the ruins, and he was worried about them. He was worried that the two would be in

danger again, saying that he wanted the two to return tomorrow.

"Well, that's enough. I know you are all very excited now, but I still have to remind you to stay away

from danger and come back alive. How about this? I'll book air tickets for you. This is the end of the

report. Come back quickly!"

Amy and Joy were moved. He could give up such valuable news report for the safety of the two, but the

two didn't plan to go back. They still wanted to stay and continue the report. They hoped that in this

way, they could show the righteous and kind-hearted side of human in front of the public.

"No, the rescue work is not over yet. We still have to stay here to record those moving moments. We

can't just go back like this. Mr. Adam, don't worry. Our life is precious and we will take care of

ourselves. We will definitely go back to see you alive."

As soon as Joy finished her words, she hung up the phone without hesitation, regardless of Adam on

the other side of the phone!

In the villa of the A City.

Jimmy sat on the sofa in the living room, with his slender legs crossed, elegant and noble.

Today, Jimmy didn't wear a suit as usual, but a set of leisure home clothes. Jimmy wore a white knitted

shirt and a pair of flaxen pencil pants. Such casual dressing made him less aggressive.

With a red wine glass in one hand, Jimmy took a sip of it gently. His cold eyes stared at the digital

screen in front of him, but no expression could be seen in his deep eyes.

At this time, the big screen was the news report of Joy. In the screen, Joy was dressed in a formal suit,

with her hair tied into a ponytail, looking more young and beautiful.

Jimmy finished reading the whole report, but his expression did not change at all. He was not cold all

the time, but seemed to be inexplicably angry.

Jimmy took the remote control on the sofa and fixed the picture on the side of Joy who was looking at

the ruins with a sad face.

But the more Jimmy looked at it, the more depressed he felt.

Jimmy clenched the wine glass in his hand, which was full of broken glass pieces by his sudden move.

The servant next to him was frightened by his sudden move and trembled all over. His breath was so

cold that the servant did not dare to go forward, and some of them even felt their legs and feet weak. Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
