Chapter 328
Chapter 328
Xavier had someone continue the investigation, and within a day, they discovered that the same
account was used to transfer money to all five of Tyrannosaurus’s homes.
As Xavier pondered the name he had already suspected, he closed his eyes and leaned back, his
tense body trembling slightly.
Xavier truly despised Estelle. He resented the fact that she showed no concern for her brother’s death
and always maintained an indifferent and composed demeanor, as if it had no impact on her.
He couldn’t bring himself to forgive her. Throughout the years, even though he knew she resided in J
City, he refrained from visiting her.
Even when they eventually crossed paths, he remained distant and severe, hoping that every word he
uttered would transform into a dagger and strike her!
Over these years, he’s been living a muddling life, thinking that only by doing so could he live up to the
memory of Tyrannosaurus and the others. However, Estelle kept them alive in the hearts of their family
members.
The real person despised was him, but he’s always been self-righteous and wanted to judge her!
Who was he to do that!
The man clenched his fist, filled with regret, and just wanted to slap himself twice.
Zachary came over, surprised, and looked at Xavier, “Boss, what’s wrong with you? Is it constipation?”
Xavier took a deep breath, his bloodshot eyes wide open, and uttered in a hoarse voice, “Leave me
alone!”
Zachary flashed a mischievous grin and swiftly drew the curtain shut, then settled on the adjacent bed,
engrossed in playing with his phone.
Collecting himself, Xavier regained composure and reached for the phone beside him, dialing Estelle’s
number. “What are you doing?” he inquired.
Estelle had just delivered some wine to room 6616. Hearing the voice on the phone and checking the
caller ID, she confirmed it was Xavier. She went to a corner and asked softly, “What’s up?”
Xavier heard the noise on her end and asked again, “Where are you?”
He had always been indifferent to Estelle’s affairs, but now he really wanted to know how she was
making money.
He only knew that she came to J City after leaving Gab and seemed to have found her biological
parents.
Estelle frowned, “What’s going on?”
Xavier hesitated and asked, “I’m getting discharged tomorrow. Will you come?”
Estelle found Xavier’s change of attitude a bit strange. Although he was still cold and harsh, he actually
took the initiative to call her and ask if she would come to pick him up from the hospital.

“Sure, I’ll be there at eight tomorrow morning to handle your discharge,” said Estelle.
Xavier concurred and remarked casually, “See you tomorrow. Oh, and one more thing.”
He paused, appearing somewhat bashful, and with an awkward tone, he added, “Take care of yourself
and don’t overexert yourself.”
Estelle raised an eyebrow, but before she could respond, Xavier abruptly ended the call.
Puzzled, she glanced at her phone, wondering if Xavier was acting strangely due to external influence
or if Zachary, the burly fellow, had mistakenly given him the wrong medication.
That night, Estelle contacted Jason and informed him that she required temporary accommodation at
his residence in the Royal Mansion.
“Are you gonna stay there?” Jason asked calmly. Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
“No, it’s for a friend,” Estelle said.
Jason didn’t ask any questions, “Okay, the key is with you. You can decide what to do with it.”
Estelle nodded and remembered something, “Is Carmella working at the design studio?”
“Yeah. Alice brought her in. She’s working as her assistant now. I just found out a few days ago. If you
don’t like it, I can have her fired immediately!” Jason said.
Estelle thought for a moment, “No need for that, let her stay for now.”
In fact, Estelle didn’t understand why Carmella would work as a low-level assistant in a design studio.
With her talent and pride, and the Macclain family’s connections, it didn’t make sense.
So, she decided to let it be for now and see what Carmella was up to.
After hanging up the phone, Estelle took a shower and went to bed. She didn’t need to wait for
someone because she knew he wouldn’t come anymore.
The following day, Estelle arrived at the hospital to pick up Xavier. All seven of his remaining
employees were present, as they had rented a house and planned to bring Xavier there.
Addressing Zachary, Estelle expressed her concern, “Even though Xavier has been discharged, he still
needs some rest. Besides, you all have work to attend to and won’t have enough time to take. care of
him. It’s better if he comes with me.”
Aware of Xavier’s dislike for Estelle, Zachary put on a nonchalant facade and sneered, “And why
should we listen to you? Who do you think you are?”
Xavier glanced at Zachary and scolded, “Obey her orders!”
