Chapter 278
Chapter 278
Orlando glanced at Rufus and walked upstairs with confusion.
Arya didn't bring too many things, just some clothes to change and some daily necessities.
Orlando came up and saw Arya packing up her things. Her eyes were wide open. 'What is she doing?
Is she going to leave?'
"Where are you going?"
Orlando asked with a frown.
Arya didn't know where she was going. Things happened so suddenly that she wasn't prepared at all, "I
will stay at the hotel first..."
Orlando wanted to ask her something else. Arya quickly interrupted him, "Don't ask me anything. I don't
want to talk. I don't have much luggage. Help me carry it downstairs."
Orlando could only nod and pick up two suitcases. Nanny Joy held a suitcase with daily necessities
and her own luggage. Arya led Ryan down the stairs first.
Ryan didn't understand where he was going. He looked up at Arya, "Mommy, where are we going?"
Arya didn't know how to answer his question. She just held his hand tightly and said, "We're just
moving out."
"Why? Aren't we going to wait for Dad to come back?" Ryan asked in confusion.
Arya's heart seemed to stop beating at that moment. The name of Xavier was deeply rooted in her
heart.
At this moment, when his name was mentioned, her heart seemed to stop beating. It was the feeling of
heartache.
Ryan noticed that Arya was in a bad mood and did not ask anymore.
Seeing the people downstairs, Ryan affectionately called Daisy and Henry, "Grandma..."
Daisy's heart was broken, "Ryan..."
She trembled and reached out to Ryan.
But Ryan didn't walk towards her. Instead, he said to her, "Mommy said she was moving out. I want to
follow mommy."
"Ryan, will you stay with Grandma?" Daisy tried to keep Ryan.
Arya refused Daisy to hug Ryan, "Let Ryan stay with me."
Daisy's hand stopped in midair.
Henry refused, "Ryan is a descendant of the Jones Family and should stay in the Jones Family."
Ryan blinked. 'What does Grandpa mean?' Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
Daisy stopped Henry and whispered, "Don't say this in front of the child."
He still cared about Ryan and was afraid that his young heart would be hurt.
Now Arya didn't want to say anything to them. Her heart was broken. She pulled Ryan away.
Orlando and Nanny Joy followed Arya.
Rufus followed Arya out. At this time, he couldn't drop the ball. Although Orlando didn't know the
grudges between the Jones Family and the Gates Family, he knew that the two families were not on
good terms. Today, Arya suddenly left the Jones Family, and he definitely had something to do with it.
He stepped forward to stop Rufus, "Don't follow us."
Rufus snorted, "How dare you stop me?"
Orlando also had a cold face. He dropped the luggage in his hand and grabbed Rufus by the collar to
hit him. Arya stopped him and told him to calm down.
Arya stood in front of Orlando, "Rufus, I will remember everything you have done today. One day, I will
take everything back."
Rufus was not angry. Instead, he smiled, "I'm looking forward to it. You should have no place to go
when you leave like this. How about..." At this point, he turned to look at the Jones Family standing at
the door, "Why don't you come to my house with me?"
Orlando couldn't bear to hear it. "You have a wife, right? Isn't it embarrassing to say such things? Does
your son know what you do outside?"
"Excuse me?" Rufus was angry. Orlando's words angered him.
"Don't make a fool of yourself." Orlando was not afraid of his angry gaze.
Rufus was furious. Orlando pulled Arya away, "You get out of the way so as not to hurt you."
Arya frowned. How could he be so impulsive? This was not the Orlando she knew.
Arya refused. She didn't want to get involved with these people and things.
She even pleaded, "Don't get me in trouble. Let's go, okay?"
Orlando rarely saw Arya bow down to others, and this was the first time. Orlando's hands were
loosened and tightened. He repeated it several times before listening to Arya's words. Holding back his
anger, he picked up the suitcase and walked towards the car.
Ryan had always been well-behaved and stood quietly beside Arya. He followed her movement.
"You've been swept out of the house. Do you still have to pretend to be noble?" Rufus couldn't stand
Arya's arrogance. She was in such a mess, and she still wanted to flaunt her superiority.
Arya hated Rufus to the extreme. She looked down on him.
He should force her to leave in such an indecent way.
So what if she left the Jones Family? It had nothing to do with Rufus.
"Rufus, what you did today disgusts me."
Rufus tugged at his collar and said forcefully, "You have to leave with me today, or..."
"Or what?"
Rufus was interrupted in the middle of his sentence.
At some point, a black car stopped by the roadside, and a tall figure came out of the car...
