Chapter 208 : The Nerds
Chapter 208 : The Nerds
“Look who’s here.” Clark’s bully voice echoed in the canteen.
At that time, Adam was eating with his classmates.
Together, they looked at the owner of the voice.
“The nerds are here.” Clark chuckled grimly with his two tall buddies.
Adam and his classmates just ignored him as they continue eating.
“New star!” Clark called Adam.
It was his name for him and it was his title before.
Clark was the most popular boy in the school before Adam came in.
He was the most loved by teachers and kids because he was the richest boy in their school before
Adam came in.
He owned the school as students there were all his puppets.
No one dares to disobey and offend him.
“Is it true that your mom used you to marry your billionaire dad?” Clark grabbed a chair and sat next to
Adam.
Adam still ignored Clark as he didn’t want to get indulged in his bullying.
He could see Clark as a bully.
Adam had already sensed Clark’s inauspicious intention.
The bad rumors about his family spread like wildfire.
He just continued eating and didn’t want to say anything but Clark was determined to ruin his day.
Clark leaned closer to him. “Is your silence means, yes?” Clark asked and chuckled like he was making
fun with Adam’s entire family.
Adam still didn’t respond but Clark seemed not to like to be ignored.
“New star, what kind of family do you have? Where’s your mom come from by the way? My mom said
he is a bad woman who seduced guys. Are you sure your father is Bill Sky or some other poor guy?”
Clark chuckled louder together with his boys.
Adam suddenly put his utensils on the table after hearing Clark’s abusive words.
“Hey, watch your mouth! What you are spewing is what you have.” Ivan finally spoke roughly.
Adam, Luke, Ben, and Kent looked at him in shock.
Ivan was the mute boy in their classroom.
He never said a word and he just nodded if he agreed or shook his head to disagree.
“Aha! The mute boy talked!” Clark stood up and faced Ivan. “I thought you don’t have a tongue,” Clark
added showing out his tongue and wiggling it annoyingly to everyone.
Ivan stood up too and clenched his fists.
“Ivan,” Adam called out.
He quickly stood up and calm Ivan.
For Adam, it was his fight and he didn’t want Ivan or any of his classmates would get involved with it.
“Oh! Woah! Woah!” Clark was satisfied with his excitement seeing his provocation was effective.
“What now, new star?” Clark added boastfully as he spread his arms to give Adam access confidently.
Clark was taller and older than him so he was confident that Adam could not hurt him.
Adam could not ignore Clark anymore.
He had no right to insult his family, especially his mom.
This Clark should be thought a lesson.
He would never allow anyone to slander her mom’s name.
Adam walked closer to Clark calmly.
When he was just an inch away from Clark, Adam stopped with his two hands inside his pocket.
“What are you going to do? Fight with me?” Clark showed his fist to Adam and grabbed him by his
shirt.
Adam didn’t dodge and let Clark grab his shirt.
“No,” Adam answered him with a smile.
” I just want to give this to you.” Right away, Adam released a robot spider from his hand.
The spider carried electricity on its legs that would give sting on the skin where it crawls.
Adam successfully put the spider inside Clark’s shirt.
“Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!” Clark shouted making all eyes land on them.
Clark tried to get the spider out but it was quick and he could feel the stings on his body.
The stings were itchy and painful and they scattered all over his body quickly.
Clark could not stand.
His two buddies came to the rescue but Luke and Kent secretly gave them spiders too.
Clark and his two buddies rolled wobbling on the ground.
Adam gave a high five to his team.
“Thanks, Luke!” Adam sounded satisfied after getting his revenge.
“Serves them right!” Luke replied.
The spider was one of his new inventions.
It was supposed to be just a toy but Ivan explained to him in writing about putting electricity on it.
He agreed as Ivan's idea was interesting and it thrilled him.
Adam also helped them.
They were the best team as they finished it quickly.
They brought the spiders today to study and discuss some more features they could add while they
were having a break.
They had installed the spiders in their friendly and lethal mode.
They were still talking of its survival mode before Clark and his boys came.
They didn’t expect that Clark and his boys would be the first victims of their spiders in their lethal mode.
Clark and his boys were the centers of the fun of the students in the canteen.
They were encircled by children who were laughing at them madly.
Adam stood in front of Clark smiling proudly as he showed the small remote to Clark.
“Stop this bastard! Ouch!” Clark shouted angrily itching everything inside him restlessly.
“I can't hear you,” Adam answered smirking swerving the remote in the air.
“Please! Stop this madness!” Clark couldn’t help to beg.
He could not take the itch and pain anymore.
The laughing got louder.
“Adam please!” Clark was already crying.
“Say sorry to him first,” Ben demanded snobbishly.
“Sorry! Sorry!” Clark shouted crying like a baby. “Ouch! Geez! Ouch!”
Ivan, Kent, Ben, and Luke stood bravely next to Adam.
After seeing Clark had suffered, Adam pressed the remote to put the spiders in idle mode and crawled
back to them.
“Next time, don’t mess with the nerds.” Wearing his big rimmed eyeglasses, Ivan said proudly then he
folded his arms in front of him.
The four boys followed his action.
They were like the geniuses and the punisher of bullies.
The children looked at them awesomely and clapped their hands to them like they were some sort of
heroes.
“What happened here?” The principal of the school came in.
A man with a suit and tie in his 50s quickly strode inside with the school guards.
“Those nerds wanted to kill us, principal Grimson. Ouch!” Clark shouted pointing to Adam and his
group.
He was still lying on the ground feeling the itch and pain on his body the same with his boys.
“Adam Sky? Clark Hansen?” Principal Grimson couldn’t believe the mess involving the Sky and the
Hansen.
The two families were shareholders of the school.
Principal Grimson could not afford to mess up with the two richest families in the country.
“All of you, follow me to the guidance counselor.” Principal Grimson had no choice.
He didn’t want to be in trouble so he passed the responsibility to the right office to handle the matter.
The guidance counselor was an old woman.
She was elegant and respectable.
Prof Mer Hence.
Adam and his boys got inside the office as Clark and his two buddies were still in the clinic. They
received medical treatment for the stings on their bodies.
The robot spiders were confiscated by the principal as evidence and put all in a clear jar.
“So, let’s settle this issue with your parents.” Prof. Hence said while waiting for the others to come.
“Bullying is not allowed in this school. You all know that right?” Prof. Hence continued.
“Si.” Ben, the linguist genius, answered.
“Such genius Ben. You are all the school’s pride. Why do you have to get involved with bullying?” Prof.
Hence’s tone was dissatisfied.
She had high hopes with these 5 genius boys but as a guidance counselor, she would never support
bullying.
“Let’s wait for your parents and settle this matter properly.” Prof. Hence was different from Principal
Grimson.
She was known for her fair judgment and as a reputable woman.
“I’m sorry, guys.” Adam broke the silence in the room. “I should not let all of you be in my trouble.” He
added in a dismayed tone.
“Come on, Adam. We can’t just stand and see you bullied. We are the nerds. Remember?” Luke, the
mechanic genius of the group wanted to cheer up Adam.
“Yes. That’s right.” Kent and Ben agreed together but Ivan was silent again.
They looked at Ivan but he lowered his head and shoulders. He seemed caught in a big problem.
“Ivan, are you okay?” Adam quickly asked worriedly.
Ivan didn’t answer and just shook his low head.
Adam felt guilty. He could feel Ivan was sad.
“Ivan, I’m sorry. I promise to clear your name. “Adam assured his friend who became dispirited out of
the sudden.
When Bill and Arabella came inside the counselor’s office, all parents were already there. Bill strode
inside with his assistant, George.
Arabella just followed them and was stunned to see Jayson and Margaret.
She had met Margaret’s enraged eyes. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.
Arabella averted her gaze to her son.
The office was huge enough to accommodate all parents.
All the kids were sitting together and all the parents were all on the opposite side with designated
seats.
They were like inside a huge courtroom.
“You were all gathered here to settle this unethical issue with your kids. I know everyone here was
good parents and very busy with all your work but our children should always be our top priority. I hope
you all agreed with me.” Prof. Hence started her ceremony. She had served the school for over 45
years and she was used to talking to the elite parents. However, she still couldn’t help to feel
intimidated by the presence of Bill Sky and Jayson Hanson. All people in Capital Z and the whole
country knew how rich and powerful they are and it was her first time to meet them in person.
Though Clark was a bully in the school, he was never admitted to the guidance counselor’s office as
the kids were scared of him but now, Adam Sky was different from the rest of the kids. Clark was
supposed to be the bully but Adam made him roll on the ground and became the laughing stock of all
the children.
“Yes! That’s right! Look at my son! I entrusted my son to this school and this is what he got? Bandages
and bruises?” Margaret shouted in fury.
Her killer eyes were with Arabella. Jayson was quick to hold her shoulders and calm her down.
“Yes. Mrs. Hansen was right. Look at our boys. Why those kids are allowed to enter lethal weapons
here inside the school?” The parent of Clark’s buddy sounded angry.
“Just to clarify this, my son is allowed to assemble everything his heart desires as a member of the
genius club in this school. It was stated in clause 5 in our contract. Am I correct, Mr. Helsinki?” The
mother of Luke who was a famous firm lawyer defended her son.
“Yes, madam. It is correct.” Mr. Helsinki was the headmaster professor of the genius club. He was in-
charged of the special students and was also a nerd but he was the smartest teacher in the school.
The genius club had a special contract from the rest of the kids there as every output they make would
greatly benefit the school.
Their brains were the school’s pride.
The opposition parents smirked mockingly.
“But these geniuses bullied our sons!” Margaret stood up and sounded angrier.
“Please sit down, Mrs. Hansen. I have here the recorded video in the canteen. Let’s all watch it.” Prof.
Hence played the video.
Arabella looked at Adam lovingly. Adam looked at her helplessly that he was saying sorry for making
trouble in the school.
Arabella smiled tenderly to pacify her son.
Bill sat beside her elegantly. He was so busy on his phone while George was sitting behind them.
George sometimes whispered something at him.
Jayson looked at Arabella.
His stare was worried at her.
Arabella avoided meeting Jayson’s eyes.
He may be worried about the news of her spreading on the internet.
Clark hid his head down when the video showed him spewing dirty words towards Adam’s mom.
Margaret quickly comforted his son.
The video finished quickly.
“You! You can’t blame my son for what happened! You are dirty and everybody knew your dirty tricks.
My son may read or hear it somewhere about you. He is just a kid for God’s sake! You adult should not
do dirty so kids would not make some fuss of you!” Margaret could not find her calm as she was literally
scolding Arabella in front of everyone. She shouted and pointed at Arabella while standing on her post.
Arabella was stunned because she thought Margaret had changed but she was wrong.
The same old Margaret.
She just seemed to find a perfect timing to slander her.
“Mrs. Hansen,” Arabella said calmly. “Please mind your words.” She had no intention to fight back at
Margaret.
She could feel all eyes in the room have different judgments of her about her issue on the internet.
Only Margaret dared to spew it.
“So, are you denying your dirty tricks?” Margaret got angrier. Her eyes were sharp like daggers who
wanted to stab her. “You can make them believe you but not me,” Margaret added provokingly. “You
even try to steal my husband remember?” Margaret’s eyeball bulged in anger.
“That’s enough!” Before Arabella could defend herself, three men quickly sounded in a deep
threatening tone and stood up for Arabella.
Bill Sky…
Jayson Hansen…
“Uncle?” Ivan suddenly sounded.
Eric Grant strode inside the room just in time.
