Winning Her Heart Again

Chapter 56: Jealous

Chapter 56: Jealous

After that night, Jacob and Rhian were sometimes caught talking with each other and smiling, and he always surprised her with flowers, like Kurt always does to Erica.

"I hope I can find Mr. Right as soon as possible," Ryan uttered and sighed. I chuckled because of the way he stared at them.

He's the only one here who doesn't have a partner. Maybe he's jealous of them.

"Common, don't rush things. If someone is destined for you, then the right time will come," I told him. His brow furrowed, and he looked at me.

"Says the one who's still still until now," he said and rolled his eyes, which made me laugh. But I have no intention of talking about that thing.

"Well, it is what it is," I said and smiled at him. I stood up to grab my things and called Rhian because we were heading through the site.

We just travelled for 30 minutes, and after that, she went directly to the staff to talk to them.

I placed my bag on the table and looked at the place. We are half-designing it. I sigh and look at the theme. Though Stacy kept on adding something, it looks great because we are doing everything we can to make it more appealing. "Aren't you jealous?" I turned around to look at her. She's smiling at me, but I know it was a fake.

"What?" I asked her, though I knew what she was already talking about. She chuckled sarcastically and looked at me with a smirk on her face.Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

"Oh, common, stop playing around. Are you jealous that I will soon be Mrs. White?" She crossed her arms while carefully observing my reaction.

I faked my smile, too, and crossed my arms In front of her. Did she think that I'm still into Travis?

"Why would I still do all of this if I'm jealous of Stacy?" I asked her, and her face changed immediately. She looked at me sharply.

And I'm actually enjoying her being annoyed.

"I already got Travis from you. You know what? I thought Travis was single at that time. He kept on dating me and surprising me," she smiled, deeply in love.

What does she want from me? I'm not buying her acting skills-not anymore. I no longer have any interest in either of them. I have already moved on.

"Stacy, honey. I don't care. That's already in the past," I bravely said, though. I kept on recalling those days when he was always busy and kept on saying that he had an important meeting and couldn't go home. Those days were the days that he was already cheating on me with Stacy.

I had no idea that day, but when I saw him together with Stacy, I knew there was something I didn't know.

"Well, Travis is no longer into you.

Even when you guys are still married. But actually didn't care since I had no idea that he was actually married. But when I found out, Those days were actually tough, but when I realized he's really in love with me and not you. "he confidently said, but still, there was that feeling that she was telling on my face that Travis never loved me because if he really loves me, he won't find

someone else.

Well, I've actually thought about those things. There were no days or nights when I kept on questioning my worth. Am I not enough? Did I do something wrong? Or does he just want others? But I'm not on that part.

"Well, maybe yes. But come to think of this. What of Travis would also cheat on you just like what he did to me? Well, we've been together for how many years, and there's a big possibility that one day he will also get tired of you." I smiled at her but she looked at me furiously.

I wanted to laugh at her, but I just acted normally while enjoying how she gritted her teeth.

"How dare you! Just accept the fact that he never loved you before. You're just jealous because he kept his promise to me! I can see how lonely and sad you are, knowing that Travis is already mine." She laughed devilishly like she was out of her mind. I laugh, too. Why? Is she the only one who could laugh? And those words won't hurt me anymore!

"I've already moved on just to say it too. So you would stop overthinking that I might steal your fiance. "While she's stopping herself from hurting me.

I don't care to hurt me all you want. But that won't change the fact that you are insecure!

"Are you calling me Insecure?!" she shouted. I looked at my team, and they were now looking at us, but I just gave them a sign to continue working. She's never failed to come up with this idea, shouting whenever she's mad.

"I am not. Maybe that's what you think of yourself. But don't worry, that won't happen. I will not steal him from you. Unless he runs after me." I said and turned around. I'm so done with her being pathetic all the time. She kept on discussing these things all over whenever she found me alone.

I didn't expect her to grab me by my hand, so she started pulling my hair. "What the heck, Stacy!" I tried to escape, but she didn't want to stop. "Ma'am Stacy," everyone gathered to stop her, but she kept pulling my hair.

"This is what you deserve bitch!" When I heard what she said, my blood boiled, and I immediately held her hand tightly while looking at her angrily, which made her shout. "Ouch! Fuck you!" She shouted in my face.

"Fuck you too, Stacy. Stop messing with me or else-" that time when I was about to think of slapping her. I stopped as I realized that I shouldn't do it because I was at work.

I sigh and let go of her hands. She's massaging it while looking at me angrily while the others are watching us.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Forster" I apologize when I get back to myself. Damn it! That was so unprofessional of me. She furiously looked at me.

"We're not done yet!" she said after she left.
