Twisted Ties of Love

Chapter 341

Chapter 341

Casey Dempsey suddenly felt a pang in his heart. He took off his jacket and draped it over her, asking, "You've been looking outside. Do you like the rain?"

Izabella Salotti gazed at the rain outside and said, "Not really. It feels sticky when it's raining, and it's cold."

The difference between a new and an old wound is that if the new wound isn't severe, it heals and is fine. But an old wound is the kind of pain that hits you deep in the heart, and even when it's healed, just thinking about it is heartbreaking. Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Casey originally wanted to say something romantically cheesy like, "If you like the rain, I can stand in the rain with you." But Izabella didn't give him a chance.

"It's causing quite a commotion outside. I haven't checked online, but I'm guessing it's trending."

Casey's guess was spot on. It indeed was trending, and Izabella was once again the center of attention.

"Do you know what this situation reminds me of?" Izabella smirked, slightly turning her head to look at Casey.

Playing along, Casey asked, "What's that?"

"It makes me think of the wolves in the forest. One wolf howls, and then another follows, and then the entire pack won't stop howling."

"That's a pretty fitting analogy, but we can't let them keep howling. After all, too much howling is annoying."

Izabella nodded in agreement, "I know."

Izabella turned 21 years old, but she had an aura that belied her age, as if she had experienced a lot and matured over the years.

"Do you need help?" Casey asked. He wanted to tell her, "You don't have to bear this alone. I'm right here. When you're tired, you can lean on me. If you can't hold on anymore, I can catch you."

"No, save your testimonies. If your fans find out you're rehearsing lines with me, it'll only fuel more anger towards me."

"Do you know what you're going to do next?"

Izabella propped her chin in thought, "Let's add fuel to the fire. Preferably the kind that burns all the scum."

Seeing her serene profile and her confident smile, Casey knew she had a plan.

"However, you can't go out, and you can't return to the hotel. It's full of reporters and paparazzi."

"So what?" Casey suddenly said, obviously having a plan in mind.

As expected, he grinned, revealing his fangs, and said with a cocky smile, "Why don't you stay at my place for a few days? Don't worry; no one will bother you. The house is big enough; you can stay wherever you want."

Casey was a bit nervous. This was what he had planned when he came. He could sneak Izabella out unnoticed. The train station, airport, and hotel were all staked out by paparazzi. Izabella couldn't escape in her current state, and among the people she knew, only he could help her get out of this situation.

Seeing Izabella not responding, Casey couldn't help but get anxious. He moved closer to Izabella and stared into her eyes.

"If you agree, blink your eyes." After saying that, he gently blew on Izabella's thick eyelashes.

Izabella blinked.

She watched as Casey's ear twitched, and finally, she couldn't help but look at his fangs.

Casey called someone to get Izabella a disguise that even he couldn't recognize.

He smoothly got Izabella into the car and headed home. Meanwhile, Brett Windham was still on the plane. He asked Liam, "What's the name of the reality show Izabella is on?"

Having a good memory, Liam easily answered, "Here Comes the Superstars."

"Who else is on the show?"

There were so many people, even with Liam's good memory, he couldn't name them all. But when he searched for "Here Comes the Superstars", the most eye-catching introduction was the four mentors, and one of them was...

"Casey is on it."

Brett's face changed, his breath thinning at the news. His lips tightened and his eyes was deep and thoughtful.

It all came full circle.
