Chapter 327
Chapter 327
Casey asked the flight attendant for an iced coffee. Recognizing him straight away, she blushed with excitement and enthusiastically handed him several packets of sugar with his coffee.
Casey loved coffee, but he couldn't stomach the bitterness – something his fans were well aware of.
"Thanks," He murmured. His voice was lazy, slightly hoarse, like an electric current sneaking into your ear.
The flight attendant was all smiles. If she wasn't on duty, she'd be begging Casey for an autograph.
After downing half of his iced coffee, Casey set it aside and started scrolling through Twitter on his phone. His manager glanced at his screen and immediately frowned.
"Why are you still following this person's trends?" he asked.
Casey was caught up in trends about "Izabella". He didn't know why he was so concerned about this name that he had even created another Twitter account just to follow her.
"You don't have a crush on her, do you?" his manager asked with a horrified expression. It wasn't a wild guess – Casey had never paid attention to female celebrities before, let alone obsessively follow one!
Casey always came off as aloof. Besides his work, he seemed to be interested in nothing else. None of the three films he worked on had any romantic subplot, which made it impossible to start any rumors about him.
He was squeaky-clean in the entertainment industry, the kind of idol that fans could trust.
But now, he had created an account just to follow Izabella and had been reading tweets about her since yesterday.
There was no need to elaborate on who Izabella was. If Casey was a pure white cloud in the sky, then Izabella was the dirty mud on the ground – the two couldn't be more unrelated.
Casey glanced at him with a meaningful expression. His silence was more frightening than any response. His manager forced himself to hold back his complaints.
"I like her name," Casey finally said after a moment of silence.
The situation was a bit awkward. Just then, the flight attendant brought over blankets – one for Casey and the other for a woman sitting in front of him by the window.
He looked over, and the woman suddenly turned around. Their eyes met in the air, and both froze.
Neither had met in real life before, but Izabella recognized Casey at first sight. He was wearing sunglasses, yet his slightly upturned lips and protruding canine teeth were unmistakable.
Casey had only seen a few photos of Izabella on Twitter and had stayed up last night to watch a TV show she starred in.
He liked to watch TV shows to observe other actors' performances. Izabella's acting in the show was average, but for some reason, he was always staring at her face. He watched the entire 24- episode series, focusing solely on Izabella.
The show aired a year ago. In that year, Izabella had started wearing heavy makeup, her once innocent style evolving into mature and seductive.
Not only had her style changed, but her life had also taken a drastic turn. Starting from the rumor that she had slept with the director for the role, she was criticized by everyone. News of her seducing various male celebrities frequently made the rounds.
She quickly became a public enemy, as if even her breathing was a wrong.
Casey had been busy with filming for the past two years. During his breaks, he traveled. If it wasn't for a variety show he recently joined, he wouldn't have come across Izabella's name on Twitter and probably would never have known her.
Izabella – her name was beautiful, as if it had appeared in his dreams thousands of times.
This eye contact. Besides a pair of eyes, there was nothing else to see, but Casey was sure this was Izabella. Her eyes were very different from the photos online. They were more distinctive in reality. Her beautiful eyes were like a magnet, making it impossible for him to look away.
She dressed casually in a shirt and jeans, her hair soft and loose over her shoulders. A mask covered half her face, but that didn't stop Casey from visualizing her features.
Since last night, he had been imagining bumping into Izabella, maybe passing by her on the street or spotting her on stage. But he didn't expect to see her so soon. His usually calm emotions were now like a flood bursting through a dam.
Izabella looked at Casey for three seconds before she turned away. The image of Casey's upturned lips and the canine teeth that peeked out lingered in her mind, making him seem like a very aggressive wolf.
She thought she could handle anything calmly, and even if not perfectly, she could always find a solution. But she found her calmness disappeared when she saw Casey's face that was extremely similar to Ryker's.
She closed her eyes, holding back the hot tears in her eyes.
The body she was in was no longer allergic to the strawberry filling in doughnuts, but the person who used doughnuts to comfort her was gone.
Casey saw Izabella turn away and not look at him again. He felt disappointed and down.
His manager noticed his unusual mood. In just a few seconds, Casey's mood had changed dramatically, like acting out a scene in a movie. Seeing him constantly looking at a certain spot in front of him, the manager also looked over.
"Who's that?"
Casey suddenly stood up, "Get up, we're swapping seats." He wanted to sit closer to Izabella.
His manager was confused as they swapped seats. Usually, Casey would be busy with his stuff as soon as he got on the plane, why was he so interested in the outside world all of a sudden?
Something was off, very off.
When the manager got up, he glanced at the spot Casey had been staring at. His sight was good, and he immediately recognized it was Izabella, who had been trending over the past week!
The manager was shocked. He wasn't suspecting that Casey had feelings for her anymore; he was absolutely sure. All content is © N0velDrama.Org.
"That... looks like Izabella, right?"
Casey's gaze was fixed in the direction of Izabella, without any movement.
His manager felt a bit awkward. He had been with Casey for two years and knew him pretty well.
Casey had an incredibly attractive face that could make anyone weak in the knees. He seemed aloof and indifferent, but he would get anything he liked, no matter how difficult it was.
Casey had a secret that no one knew about - the more he liked someone, the more he liked to stick around them. And sometimes, he'd even act a bit goofy, not quite like his usual self, but like a little
kid, really. He might throw a tantrum out of the blue, and he enjoyed it when the person he liked make an effort to please him.
