Turning Of The Tide (Natalie and Trevon)

Chapter 627

Chapter 627

Stella, who was carrying Nona, thought of her brother's recent family status and sympathized with him.

He was still alive, but he was having a hard time. "He might not be good."

After saying that, Stella lowered her head and played with Nona in her arms. After playing for a while,

Nona stood up. Perhaps because she liked the color of Stella's down jacket, she quietly leaned on her

shoulder and nibbled. Everyone was talking and didn't notice what Nona was doing.

Frank was curious about what was wrong with Chris.

Cyril stood on Frank's legs and kept pulling his hair. He used all his strength to pull his hair out like

pulling weeds. It was so painful that Frank frowned and glared at him warningly.

After receiving his father's warning, Cyril became obedient. However, he still stood on Frank's leg and

kept quiet only for a while. Cyril was still more interested in his father's hair and started to make a move

again, but he did not use as much strength as before.

Rose signaled her nephew to exert force with her eyes. She even taught him how to pull through the

air.

Sure enough, Cyril followed his aunt's actions and pulled hard. It was so painful that Frank frowned and

gently patted Cyril's little butt. Cyril fell silent again and chuckled at Rose.

Frank glanced at his sister coldly. "If you want to shave your head, just say it. Don't act like you have

ADHD."

Rose stroked her belly and retorted leisurely, "My hands are sore, and I moved them. What's the big

deal about it? It's your son who's pulling you, not me. Beat him up if you can. Be careful that he will pull

out your oxygen tube when you are dying in the hospital in the future."

Upon hearing this, Stella laughed out loud. "So there's such a risk in giving birth to a son. Then, Rose,

if you give birth to a son this time, won't your two sons fight to pull out the oxygen tube in the future

when Edward is old?"

Rose was speechless.

The scene of Edward lying on the bed and his two kids fighting to pull the tube appeared in Stella's

mind. She couldn't help but laugh. "Aha, I'm dying of laughter. In the future, Edward still has to make a

will of whoever removes the oxygen tube before he grows old to prevent the two sons from fighting."

Ava was amused. In a second, she was brought into the scene of pulling the tube. "If you say that to

your brother, he'll be even more unwilling to find a girlfriend. He'll be scared to death by you, aha."

After listening to Stella's words, Frank's smile widened. He stretched out a hand to remove his son's

hand and rubbed his scalp, which was in pain. He then glared at his son. Cyril, who was warned,

became obedient again.

Nona had been lying on Stella's shoulder. She was quiet and did not move her little butt inside the

diaper. She usually liked to move it very much.

Rose said shockingly, "Can you wish something good for Edward? What if I'm having a daughter?

Wouldn't she be the one who stops her brother from pulling it out?"

Frank and Ava were speechless. They thought, 'No wonder the two of them get along so well."

At dinnertime, the two little guys were tired from playing and fell asleep before eating. This was good.

The adults could eat in peace.

Stella was still asked to stay for dinner. When William and Grace returned home, they saw Stella was

there and asked her to stay for dinner enthusiastically. Considering that William and Grace were so

polite, Stella could not refuse.

She could only send a message to Angie and did not dare to call. After all, she had asked her mother

to leave a meal for her before she left. [Mom! William and Grace want me to stay for a meal. It was

hard to refuse their kindness. Based on your education, I feel I can't lose my manners. So, I won't be

coming back.]

Angie replied, [I didn't prepare dinner for you.]

Stella was speechless. She shrugged and put away her phone.

At the dining table, William called out, "Stella, come in and eat quickly."

"Coming."

At the dining table, William sat at the head of the table. Grace, Frank, and Ava sat on one side, while

Edward, Rose, and Harper were on the other.

Harper was picked up by Edward when he got off work. During the day, Juana looked after him. At

night, Edward would pick him up. Rose wanted to stay in the Roberts family for a few days before

giving birth.

Stella thought for a moment and sat down beside Rose.

William warmly welcomed her. "Come. Don't stand on ceremony. Help yourself as if it's your house."

"Alright, Mr. Roberts. I won't stand on ceremony."

Frank took a bottle of yogurt and a bottle of apple juice and placed them in front of Stella. He wanted

her to choose for herself. Then, he went to take care of Ava. He helped Ava pick up food one moment,

and the next moment, he peeled the shell for her.

Ava looked at her full plate and stopped him. "I'll finish it first."

Upon hearing Ava's words, Frank stopped what he was doing. On the other side, Edward was also

taking care of Rose. Edward was even more attentive and helped Rose pick all the fish bones.

Looking at this scene, Stella felt she was not here to eat. She already had enough of it before she even

started eating. It was a little torturous for a single person like her.

"Stella, has your brother found a girlfriend recently?" William asked as he drank his red wine.

Grace quietly took away the red wine bottle before William.

Stella stuffed the food into her mouth and swallowed it before answering, "No."

In the end, Stella recounted how her mother had forced her brother to run in the morning. After hearing

this, the entire dining table fell silent. Grace and Frank smiled at the same time. Then, they picked up

their forks and ate without saying anything.

William paused for a moment. Then, he smiled and guessed. "Maybe you'll have a sister-in-law soon."

Stella denied it. "Mr. Roberts, you might be overthinking. My mother almost begged God for my brother.

She doesn't dare to go out now and watch television dramas at home each day. I'm afraid my mother

will be silly from watching it."

Everyone at the table laughed when they heard Stella's words. Even Grace was eating with a smile.

The atmosphere was very pleasant.

"Then find a boyfriend and let your father live a few more years. A few days ago, your father told me

that he might not live to retire. He looked pitiful."

William recalled how Charlie had sent him his last words after he showed off to him a few days ago. It

was so terrifying that he dared not to send photos of his grandchildren to Charlie these few days. He

could only secretly admire them.

"No, no, no. Mr. Roberts, let me tell you secretly. I don't have any plans to fall in love and get married.

Don't tell my mother. In the future, please don't rush me to get married when you see me. I don't have

any plans to do that. Although seeing you guys in love is nice, I prefer to be single. I want to buy an RV From NôvelDrama.Org.

to travel to various places. I want to collect the scenery everywhere and be free after I retire. How good

is that? I even secretly signed up for a photography training class."

Rose looked surprised. Previously, a few of them would joke in the group and ask Stella to find a

boyfriend. Stella had told everyone that once.

Everyone thought this was an excuse for her not wanting to find a boyfriend, so they laughed it off.

Edward patted Rose's shoulder and asked her to eat. He leaned close to Rose's ear. His gentle voice

made Rose come back to her senses. "Eat."

Edward's words stopped Rose from continuing to ask and recall.

Edward knew how to observe. When Stella said this, he saw the light and yearning in Stella's eyes. It

could be seen that this was what she had always wanted to pursue.

As time passed, she might change her mind one day. He was an example, so he did not evaluate what

Stella said now. The future was unknown. How this equation was solved depended on the person who

solved it.

Frank and Ava did not think that Stella's thoughts were strange. If one had not met the right person,

one might as well stay single.

William nodded in agreement. "Alright, this can be considered a secret between me and you. However,

your brother might be worse if he doesn't get married."

"Aha, that's right. He's been very miserable recently."

The topic of the night was about Chris. Stella told everyone about her brother's recent tragic life.

Laughter could be heard in the dining room every minute. The loudest laughter was from Stella and

Rose, followed by Ava.

Two men were eating at a famous restaurant in Athana, wearing down jackets. There were four dishes

and a soup on the table, and the food was quite hearty.

"Atishoo. Atishoo..."

Kimble asked, "What's wrong with you? Your kidneys are weak. You sneezed all night."

Chris took a tissue and wiped his mouth. "What the hell? Why do I keep sneezing?" He sniffed. "Are

kidney deficiency and sneezing the direction of your new research?"

Kimble automatically ignored the last sentence of Chris. He continued, "Could it be your mother is

scolding you because you didn't go home for dinner?"

Chris nodded and threw the tissue into the trash can. "Change your question into an affirmative

sentence."

"You're so pitiful. You can't go home. Just listen to your mom and find a wife. She has good taste. Don't

you think your father is quite good?"

Chris was speechless. He ate the macaroni slowly and said, "That's my father. He's a man."

"Isn't that the same? It means that your mother has good taste."

Kimble raised his eyebrows. He said seriously as if he was brainwashing someone.

"Eat your food. I'm not treating you to a meal to make you urge me to get married. I don't plan to find a

girlfriend now." Chris lowered his head and ate.

Kimble caught the main point. "So it's not that you don't want to find one, but you don't want to find one

now."

"Don't try to interpret what I mean. Concern more about your villa. Mine is a small problem, but yours is

a big one," Chris said cruelly.

Looking at his good friend sighing, Chris wanted to persuade him to break up. Why did he keep this

girlfriend like this? For Christmas?

However, his friend liked that girl. Some things were clear, but Kimble couldn't overcome the hurdle in

his heart. Others could see it clearly, but the person involved couldn't walk out. He walked into one

dead end after another.

Chris said, "At least you're sober. I told you it's good that I'm single, but you didn't listen and kept

messing around.

Kimble said, "You don't understand the beauty of love."

The next second, Kimble said matter-of-factly like a matchmaker, "I'm serious. The girl I saw at the

hospital that day is quite suitable for you. It's the girl I asked you about this morning. Don't look at me

like that. It's not that I want to flirt. I'm just worried about you.

"I was just joking with you yesterday. I'm not a fickle person. I haven't even broken up yet, so how can I

find someone else? I have my rules. I'm just saying for fun and pretending to be in a relationship 800

times a day. Really. That girl is beautiful. One look and you can tell that she's a strong career woman.

Strong career women are especially busy. So they don't have time to care about you. At least they

won't control you like your mother. What do you think?" Reаd at NovelDrama.Org

After listening to Kimble's brainwashing words, Chris suddenly said, "Are you referring to renting

together? To go home and sleep together at night?"

"I won't care about it anymore. I don't think there's a single girl in Athana who can satisfy your

requirements."

Only Charlie and Angie were having dinner in the dining room in the Yamin family's big villa. If Charlie

worked overtime tonight, there would only be Angie at home.

"Oh." Angie sighed.

Before Charlie could stuff the food into his mouth, Angie sighed a second time. "Oh."

Looking at his wife, who kept sighing, Charlie was no longer in the mood to eat. "What are you doing?

Are you not feeling well? I told you not to wake up so early, but you didn't listen. Why are you doing

this?"

Charlie had no objections. Coincidentally, he also missed his daughter and grandson. "I'm fine with

anything."

"Alright. I'll tell Joseph we're going to Sapphire City for Christmas this year. We have to bring our son

along this time."

Charlie stared at his wife in a daze, feeling that there was something fishy going on.

However, there was no evidence.
