True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2163

Chapter 2163

Wrapped in Chigo's arms, Sylvia didn't see what car had passed by them, but she thought the model was familiar. As she couldn't see anything in his arms, Sylvia struggled to break free for long before he finally released her. Flushed and upset, she scolded, "You don't have to be so eager, you know?"

He laughed, "Why not? Are you feeling shy?"

She was speechless; she wasn't bashful, but that she felt as if he was toying with her.

It didn't feel good to be taken advantage of.

Sylvia looked, no, glared at Chigo with resentment, wanting nothing more than to give him a good beating.

However, Chigo didn't mind her glare, smiling instead.

"You look mad."

"Oh, am I? You disrespected me, Chigo. Have you never heard of gender sensitization? How can you simply hug me?" She meant they should keep a distance.

"You're right." He nodded and continued, "That's a valid point."

Hearing that, she felt relieved knowing he still could be reasoned with.

However, just as she wanted to say more, he continued, "But I have said the same things to you before, but you never listened no matter how many times I've reminded you, always eager."

Sylvia's jaw dropped as she looked at Chigo, floored.

She was just a child back then. He was right, she was indeed passionate toward him, but she didn't mean anything, let alone understand that men and women shouldn't be this close.

How could he expect a child to understand such things? And how could he use this to refute her?

Flushed from frustration, Sylvia didn't know how to answer him.

Surprised she didn't refute, Chigo smiled, in a great mood.

However, it made Sylvia feel even more defeated.

Her head hung low, and her shoulders drooped, looking lifeless.

But she knew she had to make things clear once and for all.

"Chigo, I have to go back." Slyvia's gaze was determined and slightly distant as she looked up at him.

Chigo asked, his brows slightly furrowed. "Why are you in such a hurry to go back? Or do you just want to escape from me?"

Although it was true she wanted to get away from him, she did not answer.

"Do you think running away will solve everything?" He looked at her, still smiling. It seemed that he didn't intend to let her go just like this.

"I have to do my revision. My mom will be worried when she doesn't see me."

"She won't. Mr. Carter knows I'm with you, so he would tell her for sure. I think I still have quite some credibility." he said.

Resigned, she really was no match for him. "Chigo, I'm still a high school student; studying is my top priority now."

"Yes, you said that. Didn't you hear me too? You should be glad you still are one, or I wouldn't still keep the distance." he reminded her.

"What on earth do you want?" Sylvia's face sank, and her tone became cold.

Since she could not escape, she would face him directly.

She had never feared confrontations.

"Very well." Chigo nodded. "I should make you mine as early as possible."

"What do you mean?" She frowned.

"Making you my girlfriend, of course," he replied.

Chigo's words rendered her floored. Although she knew this was going to happen, she was still shocked to hear it from him.

Had he no shame?

She could finally understand Kendrix's hesitation; she was underage for only sixteen.

Meanwhile, her first thoughts were that she was still underage at Chigo's words; how could he be so shameless to ask a minor out?

And it didn't hit her until someone else said those words.

Taking a deep breath, she frowned and thought about what she should say to him.

He, on the other hand, had been waiting for her to speak.

He knew she must be shocked to hear his confession.

As expected, her mouth was agape, but no words came out from it, proving his guess.

However, he had no regrets.

Though he felt irritated not telling her sooner.

Perhaps he should've already come home last year. As he focused on his studies, he thought he could wait for a year, and by then, she'd only have a semester until she was in college.

But who would've thought Kendrix would appear in her life and grab her attention? This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

Kendrix even attracted the attention of the Jones family.

Chigo knew his four-year absence was long enough that everyone had forgotten about his existence.

His return this time was to tell her with determination.

He wasn't someone she could flirt with and walk away from so easily.

"I'll take your silence as a yes." Chigo said, "I know you still have a year in high school, and you shouldn't be thinking about love and

relationships; I'm not saying we should be in one either. I just want you to promise to be my girlfriend when the time comes. This way, I will be more assured." Content

"Chigo, you're mistaken." Hearing Chigo's words, Sylvia immediately said, "We can't do this. I don't feel the same for you."

She thought she should show her resolution, or he would misunderstand her.

Hearing that, he looked at her, and waves surged beneath his gaze.

The roaring emotions in his gaze engulfed Sylvia. "It doesn't matter As long as I like you," he said. "Why can't you get that we're not fit for each other?" Sylvia cried out 'You're just joking, aren't you?"

She smiled as she said, but deep down, she was horrified.

She was afraid he wasn't joking.

Chigo was no longer the big brother figure she once remembered since his absence.

He had become straightforward and aggressive, leaving her with no chance to escape when they spoke, yet not abrupt or offensive when doing so.

It was true that she had hit on him when they were children.

But she never expected him to take her words seriously.

All she could do now was smile and hope he was joking.

Chigo looked at Sylvia, narrowed his eyes, and said coldly, "You think I'm joking?"

She blinked, observing him for a quick second before laughing, "Yeah. There's no way you'd actually be interested in a kid like me, no?"

Chigo quirked his brow and looked elsewhere, seemingly deep in thought.

Silence spread between the two, and he looked back at her after a few seconds, tittering, thinking he should just let the idea slide. "Yeah, you're right."

"I knew it!" she said with a smile, relieved.

She couldn't let the situation become a reality no matter what.

"I was joking with you." He laughed,

but a hint of sharpness flashed across his gaze as he suddenly wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "How does it feel to have

a taste of your own medicine?"

Hugging her like the big brother he once was to her, he said teasingly, "Afraid now, aren't you?"

Her body stiffened as she chuckled, "You really scared me, Chigo."

"But is it all that bad to be my girlfriend? Is the idea really that scary? I'll have you know I'm very loyal."

"I never doubted that," she said, "But leave it for another girl."

"Haha." Chigo laughed, "I don't need someone other than you."

Sylvia pretended she didn't hear anything.

He changed the topic as he continued to wrap his arms around her, saying, "I heard you had the highest score in your grade. Not bad. Do you want a

reward?"
