True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2153

Chapter 2153

"No." Gary shook his head. He had never thought that Celeste was in the wrong. He always felt that he had not given her enough sense of security, which caused her to not have faith in their relationship.

"It's all my fault. I didn't take good care of you, and I didn't give you enough assurance."

He said it in all seriousness because he had pondered over this again and again.

She looked deep into his eyes, her eyes reddening.

At this moment, his words made her even more embarrassed.

She had always understood that she felt inferior and unworthy of him. However, she couldn't bear to leave him, so she returned.

She was kind nor generous enough to wish him joy with someone else.

She was just an average person.

All she wanted was to be with the man she loved every day and nothing else.

"I was selfish." She looked into his eyes. "I just want to be with you, nothing else is important. I

just want to be with you."

Wasn't it the same for him too?

Gary smiled as he looked at her with a tender gaze, whispering, "Me too. I want that too."

"However-" Celeste shook her head. "I want you all to myself, for all my life, even if I know I'm not good enough for you. I want you to be my one and only."

His eyes flashed with excitement and eagerness when he heard these words.

He was happy because he knew this feeling of wanting someone for themselves was love.

Love was possession.

It was about wanting someone for themselves from the very beginning.

It required a lot of love to give someone up and be willing to do anything for their partner.

He thought about how their love would one day reach such a stage. Until then, it was a waiting game. And he was in no rush.

He did not need her to be perfect. He just wanted her with him every day.

The greatest kind of love was companionship.

"I belong to you." Gary said in a deep voice, "I will only belong to you."

Tears poured from Celeste's eyes, wetting her long eyelashes.

He lowered his head, and his thin lips were next to her ear when he said, "Don't cry."

His heart would twist uncomfortably when she cried like this.

He nibbled on her earlobe as he inched closer to her until she was in his arms.

She nestled in his embrace and listened to his calm heartbeat that filled her heart with warmth.

"Celeste, I'm not done talking yet." Gary spoke again, "I have to finish talking about this, so this will be the last time we'd have to talk about this person, okay?"

"Okay." Celeste figured she had interrupted him, though she had thought earlier that the conversation about that matter had ended. She did not expect that he still had something to say. "Go ahead."

"Janice's return is a disgrace. She crossed many lines, and she might look for more ways to tear us apart." His tone was solemn.

"Do you have evidence that she would?" She looked up at him.

A hint of coldness appeared on his face as he nodded. "She thinks she still stands a chance at achieving her goal."

"What did she do?" She asked in surprise.

"She might break the law," he explained.

Celeste's heart missed a beat. "Even then, she still won't give up?"

Janice had lost face during the press conference, yet she still didn't want to give up.

Celeste always knew that Janice was stubborn, but she didn't know it was to this extent.

"Yes." Gary continued, "So, no matter what happens in the future, you must trust me."

He held her hand, pulling it to his lips.

She nodded.

He continued, "Your trust gives me strength."

She nodded again.

Gary's seriousness made Celeste realize that they must expect more to happen in the future. These matters might catch them off guard and cause them harm.

If they could not move forward together through this, they would not be able to last long together.

"I promise to trust you." She made up her mind to never let Janice take advantage of them again.

After receiving her guarantee, he let out a sigh of relief. The solemn expression on his face relaxed.

"Yeah, I think I slept fine." She came to her senses and blushed, sensing what he was going to do next.

She immediately reached out to push him away. "Not in broad daylight."

Gary laughed mischievously. The sound of it was pleasant to the ears, sending vibrations across her chest.

The next second, he bit Celeste's earlobe again. An uncontrollable current shot through her body, and her eyes widened.

"Gary, don't."

"Don't yell. The more you try to stop me, the more I want to continue." His hoarse voice sounded in her

ear.

She was stunned and did not dare move.

She knew that he would continue either way.

His arms wrapped around her waist as he took her into his arms. Their clothes were on the ground in the blink of an eye.

He pinned Celeste down and kissed her until her body was all out of oxygen.

However, Gary had no intention of letting her go.

It was the start of a great new year for him.

Following Gary's and Celeste's reunion, happiness returned to the Jones' household.

The streets were rather empty when Sylvia left the Carter residence in the afternoon. Perhaps everyone was busy celebrating.

Perhaps some were still asleep from having stayed up late on New Year's Eve.

The street was much quieter than usual.

She tightened her coat with a smile on her face. This was a rare, precious peacefulness. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

After walking around for a while, she

was ready to go back to her great-grandfather's place. They had to go home after dinner, and didn't want to stay outside for too long. After all, she was a year older and wiser.

Suddenly, a familiar figure came into view as she was heading home.

This figure was a few meters away from her.

He wore a beige collared-down

jacket, a pair of jeans and boots

Even from afar, Sylvia could telt that this person was tall and handsome, much like a model.

Her eyes were shining as she smiled and waved.

"Hi there, Mr. Trevino. Happy New Year."
