Trapped pregnant with a Billionaire child

accept me back into your life

Letta then hurriedly walked out of the hospital after having finished whatever business would bring her back to meet Marco, and seeing Letta in a hurry finally made Abian approach.

“Have you seen him?” Abian asked, making Letta fall silent. Abian could see how her eyes were reddened, whether from holding back tears or perhaps because she had shed them earlier. But Abian seemed reluctant to ask.

“Can we go back now?” Letta whispered, her voice sounding strained. Letta seemed to force her voice out, making Abian finally nod.

They then walked towards the van that Abian was driving. Even on the way, not a single word was spoken by Letta. She just stared out the window, passing through the darkened plantations, passing through the road that had previously been the place where Marco and Freya were injured.

Letta then immediately got out of the car when they were right in front of the simple house that she had lived in for the past 2 years.

“Thank you, I have troubled you,” Letta said, making Abian try to reach out his hand.

“I’ve been trying to hold back since earlier, I tried not to say anything because I was afraid you would get hurt,” Abian said, making Letta look at the man who had once stopped by her heart.

“I know what you did was something you believed was right. You didn’t want to live in suffering with Marco again, did you?” Abian said, making Letta fall silent.

“But I also can’t stand the lies you’re covering up,” Abian continued, making Letta finally pull Abian’s hand away from her face.

“I’m tired. If you’re just going to talk about Marco, I don’t think I need to listen,” Letta replied, making Abian shake his head.

“I just can’t bear to see you pretend all this time, even though deep down I’m glad you chose to stay away from that man. But still, I don’t want to see you live like this,” Abian said, making Letta finally just turn her face away, trying to hold back her tears from falling again.

“How am I living, haven’t you seen that I’ve been living happily with Freya?” Letta replied, making Abian shake his head.

“No, that’s not the happiness you want, really. Sometimes you do look happy just by seeing Freya smile, but deep down, you’re really fragile. You seem to be carrying a heavy burden on your own,” Abian said, making Letta fall silent.

Letta could feel the wind hitting her face, feeling cold, making her eyes seem unable to hold back the tears anymore. Letta finally turned her back on Abian as the tears fell, wiping them away roughly.

“Even though you think this is the best decision, don’t you want to see Freya meet her father?” Abian asked, making Letta finally turn back and look at Abian with an angry gaze.

“I’ve already said, Freya only needs me. She doesn’t need a father or anything in her life, just me alone. I will make her happier than anyone else,” Letta said, making Abian know that Letta would definitely answer like that, making Abian finally reach out his hand, gently holding Letta’s shoulder.

“In that case, accept me back into your life, accept me to be a part of your small family with Freya, make me the man you can rely on,” Abian said, making Letta blink her eyes. Abian certainly had his reasons for the past 2 years why he stayed by Letta and Freya’s side, even though Letta seemed to push him away slowly, even though sometimes she seemed to lean on him. But that wasn’t entirely true, as if she didn’t accept him or open up a little hope for him, and Abian knew very well the biggest reason Letta did that.

“Can’t you do it, can you? Can’t you accept me back?” Abian asked, which once again only made Letta silent. Letta didn’t know how to answer him, but right now she could only remain silent, bowing her head.

“I’m tired, let me rest,” Letta said without lifting her face.

“I’m tired of going through all of this, I’m only holding on because Freya is by my side. I really feel hurt and I don’t-” Letta’s voice trembled, making Abian finally just pull Letta into his embrace. And that was when Letta truly shed all her tears. Somehow, the pain that she had been trying to heal was scratched quite deeply again. Seeing Marco in front of her, the wound seemed to make her feel even more powerless. The dried-up wound was now torn open deeply, making Letta seem unable to hold it back any longer.

“For that, I want you to be honest with yourself. It’s been enough punishing or whatever you call it. You also can’t keep pushing him away, can you? I know your feelings, even though behind all of that, his mistakes can’t be easily forgiven, but you are also torturing yourself and indirectly you are torturing your only daughter,” Abian continued, making Letta only able to sob.

Of course, seeing her, he was also thinking the same thing. How selfish she was, how cruel she was to Marco from Freya. She only put forward her selfishness and the reasons about Marco’s mistakes to keep them apart.

“Then, what should I do? I still can’t forgive him,” Letta said, making Abian stroke her small back, which felt truly fragile.

“You can start to open your heart again. Let Marco see his daughter, let Marco break through all the mistakes he has made to you and Freya. Let him do anything as a gesture that will make you happy. I also don’t know why I can be this good of a person. I should, in this opportunity, fight even more to win your heart. But seeing how you can’t even smile genuinely, it hurts me,” Abian said, making Letta look up at the man who truly loved her.

Letta also didn’t know why she couldn’t accept Abian back. Was it because her heart was truly locked for Marco? Yet, in the past, Letta truly couldn’t let go of Abian just like that, letting go of the kind man who had always accompanied her in life.

Finally, their conversation stopped when the door opened, revealing Freya looking at them with a questioning gaze.

“Mommy, are you crying?” Freya asked in her small voice, making Letta immediately wipe her tears roughly.

“Sweetie, you’re not asleep yet?” Letta asked, bending down, looking at Freya who was still looking at her with that questioning gaze.

“I can’t sleep before Mommy comes, I want to know how Uncle is doing?” Freya asked, making Letta look at Abian, who was now nodding his head, as if confident that Letta would do the best for them, making the right decision.

“Uncle is doing fine, he just needs to be taken care of and he’ll get better,” Letta explained, making Freya immediately look at her with sparkling eyes.

“Really? So can I meet him tomorrow?” Freya asked, making Letta unsure of how to answer. The next moment, Letta shook her head.

“Not yet, dear. Uncle is still not ready for us to meet him, he needs to rest to get well quickly. But earlier I heard Uncle promise that he will meet us when he’s recovered, so we just have to wait, okay?” Letta said, making Freya immediately put on a sad face.

“Really? What if he suddenly goes away? Doesn’t he live here? It’s my first time seeing him,” Freya said, making Letta only able to smile reassuringly while stroking her daughter’s face.

“Don’t worry, didn’t Uncle help you earlier? He must also want to meet you, right? He also wants to know the condition of Mommy’s little princess,” Letta said, finally making Freya nod her head. Letta then immediately took Freya into her lap while looking at Abian.Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.

“Thank you for tonight, I apologize once again,” Letta said, making Abian smile. After that, he turned to Freya.

“Hi Princess, how’s your wound? Does it hurt?” Abian asked, making Freya shake her head.

“No, uncle, I’m strong. I just need to rest and Mommy said I will get better soon,” Freya said, making Abian nod.

“Okay, then you both rest. I also have to go home. And remember, don’t find it hard to take your medicine. Okay, don’t make your mother worried,” Abian said, making Freya nod before he went back to his own house, not far from Letta’s house. Letta and Freya chose to go inside their house, where Rose was seen lying tiredly on the sofa.

“Look, we’ve troubled Rose. Tomorrow we’ll make cookies for her, okay,” Letta said, making Freya nod.

“We’ll make some for Uncle at the hospital too, right, Mom?” Freya asked, making Letta fall silent for a moment before nodding her head.

“We’ll make a lot of cookies and share them with others. Do you agree?” Letta said, making Freya cheer before they walked towards Freya’s room. For now, let everything flow like this first, Letta thought, who would think about what she should do next. Right now, Letta would just focus on Freya and her curiosity.
