The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?

27

“It’s okay, Princess,” Christian responded. “It was my mistake, so please don’t blame her. I just hope this incident doesn’t give her any trauma,” he added in concern.

Hearing it, Cinder started getting worried again. She could feel a bond with the pup that her human couldn’t understand and she couldn’t recognize.

“Did she reject her mate already?” Christian asked, entering the house and finding Reva crying bitterly while Abigail was consoling her.

“No. That Beta left her in the middle of the conversation and ran away.” Abigail responded. “That’s why I’m telling her to reject that beta who doesn’t care about her.”

“Moon Goddess, Mom!! Stop brainwashing her.” Ethlyn said in irritation. “You’re acting like a vamp in your daughter’s life.”

“Ethlyn, mind your to…”

“She is telling the truth, Abby. Stop giving ideas to Reva for rejecting her mate, or I will have to get rid of a mate like you.” Christian said, cutting her in between, shocking her. “Enough is enough, now.”

“But Christ….”

Christian was already pissed at himself from Roselet’s rejection, and Abigail’s next drama was bringing the worst out of him.

“Not a word.” He growled. “Not a single word or you will find yourself out of my life and this house as well,” he warned. Both Reva and Ethlyn were surprised to see their father this angry. Reva forgot her crying, and her mind shifted to this incident.

“I don’t want to insult the mother of my pups, but it’s ENOUGH now.” He ordered and looked at Reva. “There is one simple rule of any relationship, Reva. Never! Never entertain a third person between mate bonds. Even if it includes your own parents, if you wanted to know why he left all of a sudden, then you could have followed him and would have asked about it rather than assuming things on your own.”

“Ye.. yes, dad,” Reva muttered.

“And you have to listen to your mom, then go ahead and reject him. I will be happy for that werewolf whose life got saved from getting ruined by an evil witch.” By saying this, Christian left from there, and Reva’s jaw dropped. A second later, even Abigail left from there.

“Did… did dad call me an evil witch instead of a princess?” She asked Ethlyn, who sensed that her dad was angry with her mom for some reason. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

But what could her mom have done because of which her peace-loving dad was so pissed?

Ethlyn reached near her and pinched her hard. “Aaouch! Ouch!!” Reva cried. “I should be going to check on my mate.”

“Grandpa Christian knows our secret.” Roselet finally spoke. She didn’t speak a single word from the moment she fell from the top floor. She got so scared that it took everyone a good amount of time to cheer her up for two reasons. One, because she was everyone’s favorite, and second because they wanted to stay alive. “When he told me that he always knew about me and asked me to hug him, I denied it and started running away from him and… and that was when all this happened.” She replied with the answer to the question which they had been asking for a while, but she had kept her mouth at that time.

“I knew it,” Zordan said after listening to that. “I sensed it the moment he grabbed the opportunity to give a tour of the packhouse.”

“The best thing is our princess is all right,” Lemieux said. “And I guess jumping from that height would have been fun, like bungee jumping. After all, she is the daughter of Adventure king,” he said, pinching her cheek.

“That’s true. Calvin was full of fun in his young days.”

“Really?” Roselet asked to which Zordan nodded his head.

“There is not a single activity left that he didn’t do. He was known for his fearless act.”

“Okay then. I will tell him about today’s incident, and he will be thrilled to know that I’m following in his footsteps in terms of fun.” Roselet said with excitement. She was scared before until this truth was revealed to her. She loved being told that she was just like her father. Little did she know that everyone told her so that she would stop feeling scared, but Zordan’s face color paled.

“No! No. Don’t tell him about it.” He said quickly. As much as he knew his friend, Calvin would get a heart attack after listening to this news, even though Roselet was absolutely fine. That carefree and fearless Calvin could stay a second silently if anything concerned his daughter.

“But why? I don’t hide anything from Calvin. And he does the same with me.” She asked in confusion.

“Zordan means to say that tell him about it after reaching near him, pleaseeee.” Asher requested.

“But Calvin asked me never to hide anything from him. Because that’s bad manners.”

“We aren’t asking you to hide anything from Alpha, princess. Just tell him about it after reaching there, or he might get worried and won’t be able to focus on his work.” Asher explained.

“Guys, my mate is approaching here,” Zordan said, sensing Reva’s scent.

“Your mate? Did you find your real fated mate?” Roselet asked because she didn’t know about it.

“Yes, Princess. And guess what? She is the younger sister of your mommy.” Zordan said.

“Wooooow!!” She jumped in excitement and recalled that Ethlyn didn’t have any mark on her shoulder, just like a marked female she-wolf.

‘It means that she is not claimed by Alpha Nathan. And it also means that she can be claimed by someone else. She can be claimed by my daddy.’
