The Killer Queen (Noella Briony)

Chapter 322

Chapter 322

A pack of ferocious Mastiffs bared their teeth at the distant relatives from the Pollack family, growling menacingly!

Noella raised an eyebrow and said, "These dogs haven't had a good meal in a while."

Peregrine, sweating bullets, couldn't believe what he was seeing—those dogs had madness in their eyes!

"This is illegal! You all are crazy! What the hell did the Schnabel family teach you?"

Noella just shrugged indifferently. "You should count your blessings you met me here."

Had it been anywhere else, Noella wouldn't have hesitated to show him what crazy really means! After all, they were at the Pollack ancestral home. Considering the old folks and not wanting to scare Elara, Noella was actually being quite restrained.

Peregrine took a huge step back.

Noella chuckled. "Step forward, and I'll release one dog leash. Your choice, Peregrine."

To the Pollack family, this seemed like a fair deal.

Horatio paused his prayer, shocked at the scene unfolding before Noella, though an outsider might think he was worried.

Helen straightened her dress. "Horatio, keep praying. This won't affect you for a bit. Don't worry about Noella. The Pollacks aren't pushovers."

"Oh, I'm not worried about Noella. I'm worried for these poor souls."

Noella's antics were nothing new to Horatio. He just couldn’t understand why these people were deliberately seeking to cross paths with her, the harbinger of catastrophe.

Considering this, Horatio just shook his head sadly. "These poor souls have really strayed off the path! If they need spiritual guidance afterward, they can come to our monastery. But given their moral failures, there will be no discounts. In fact, it'll cost more."

With that, Horatio closed his eyes and resumed his prayers, unfazed.

Peregrine didn't dare move. He couldn't believe that the Schnabel girl was this unhinged!

"I'm an elder here, and you're out of line!"

Sexton scoffed. "I'm not gone yet, so what sort of elder are you? Noella represents the Pollacks! And since you brought up the issue with Elara's lineage, let's settle that today, to avoid future encounters."

Their patience with the Pollack kin was wearing thin.

Peregrine was relentless. "I don't agree! How can this wild girl claim a place in the Pollack family tree? She doesn't even share our last name!"

Sexton's gaze fell on Palmer. "My position will eventually go to Palmer. He'll be the next Pollack patriarch. Whatever concerns the Pollack family, Palmer has the final say."

Palmer, the designated heir to both the Pollack Group and family, nodded. "Then let's not delay. Today, we'll remove you from the family tree. I'm informing you, not asking for your opinion. Elara is a Pollack, regardless of her last name. If you can't accept that, you're out."

His words were laced with a cold finality, leaving no room for discussion.

Peregrine was stunned! Turning to Sexton and Helen, he saw they had already settled into chairs, with Helen even sipping a Coke!

"This is outrageous!"

The Mastiffs growled, saliva dripping onto the lawn as they snapped at Peregrine and his companions. If the guards hadn't held the leashes tightly, they would've been dinner for those beasts!

Peregrine, trembling, took several steps back. "Let's talk this out. We're all family here, no need for this..."

Palmer smirked, "Family? Alright, Annie, lock the gates. Let's give Uncle Peregrine a proper welcome! In front of my mother, Uncle Peregrine ought to show some respect. Otherwise, what’s the point of you being here?"

"What are you even talking..."

The Mastiffs lunged at Peregrine, stopping just a hair's breadth away as the guards held them back!

Peregrine collapsed to the ground, soaked in sweat.

Annie, standing by the door, announced, "Mr. Kingsley Pollack has secured the gates, and the snipers brought by Peregrine have been detained and handed over to the police."

Kingsley Pollack, the second grandson of the Pollack family, who had been conspicuously absent, had actually been quietly preparing at the entrance all along!

The snipers Peregrine had hired were all shady figures, now facing a long stint in prison, effectively ending their careers.

Larson shouted, "This is too much! You've gone too far!"

With their significant influence, how could Palmer dare to send those men to the police? Didn't he worry about needing such connections in the future?

Palmer laughed. "Please, my mother awaits in the hall. I wonder, facing her, will you feel any trepidation?"

If it hadn't been for their collusion back then, Palmer's mother would still be here!

The Pollack ancestral home seemed perpetually shrouded in a chill, no matter how many blooming roses adorned its halls, failing to mask the coldness and sins of the old estate. It was here that Palmer's mother met her untimely demise at the hands of distant relatives of the Pollack family, right in front of Palmer's eyes! Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.

Peregrine's gaze turned profound. He stared at Palmer, his heart racing with panic.

When had that young boy grown into such a formidable figure?

As the mansion's doors shut, several snipers appeared on the walls, rifles in hand, all grinning down at the Pollack family gathered in the courtyard.

Phecda, with a lollipop in his mouth, raised an eyebrow. "Boss, just say the word, and we'll take the shot!"

Alkaid chuckled. "How could we miss out on this fun?"

Noella smiled slightly. The folks from Polaris Star loved a good spectacle; she knew Phecda and the others wouldn't miss this for the world!

Wherever there was a hint of danger for Noella, the others would be there, always by her side!

She subtly raised her eyebrow, pointing towards Peregrine's knee. "Target that, a gesture of respect for the departed."

Peregrine looked at Noella in horror, and the next second, the bullet found its mark as if guided by sight, piercing Peregrine's knee!

"Ah! You're all mad! Mad! Sexton, you're just gonna stand there? Has the Pollack family name been forsaken?"

Sexton acted as if he saw nothing. "If Palmer wants to spoil his lady, that's his business, not mine. I'm getting old, might as well have my picture up on the wall next. It's the young folks' world now."

Helen scoffed. "Stinks of treachery. Pay your respects to Kendra and then get lost!"
