The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus)

Chapter 486

Chapter 486

Bianca was utterly smitten with Hector, yet she had never dared to dream of a fancy wedding. The very thought of marrying her beloved and bearing his children was the pinnacle of happiness in her life!

"Sir, as long as you and the kids are well, that's all | need," Bianca said, cradling her belly with a blissful grin spreading across her face.

Hector looked at her earnest expression and chuckled, planting a kiss on her forehead. "Silly girl, still calling me ‘Sir?’ That'll cost you!"

His laughter filled the room again. "Ha-ha-ha, Bee, wouldn't it be something if we had twins right off the bat? Magnus would be green with envy, huh!"

Watching the childlike glee in Hector's eyes, Bianca couldn't help but smile, amused by the thought that he wanted to one-up Mr. Andersen in the baby department. Their rivalry was child’s play, really! If Natalia caught wind of this, she'd surely get a kick out of it, too.

But Bianca didn't want to dampen Hector's spirits; in fact, she found herself secretly hoping along with him, silently praying for twins. She imagined how wonderful it would be to have twins—a boy like Hector and a girl like herself.

With this hopeful thought, Bianca's face lit up with a smile as she and Hector drove back to their villa.

As soon as Hector parked the car, he hurried to open Bianca's door, carefully lifting her into his arms and settling her onto the sofa with utmost care. "Just sit tight, honey. Let me do the legwork from now on," he said with concern.

Bianca chuckled and shook her head. "I'm just pregnant, not made of glass! Are you hungry? | can whip us up something to eat." She attempted to rise from the sofa, but Hector gently pressed her back down.

“Better safe than sorry. You're carrying precious cargo now, no more roughhousing. Just sit back and relax. Let the house staff take care of things."

Bianca laughed lightly. "Hector, you're being ridiculous. Pregnant women don't just sit around doing nothing. | can't just stay cooped up at home all the time."

Hector thought she had a point. "You're right. Staying active is healthy. But from now on, you're off duty. Leave the menial tasks to the servants."

"What am | supposed to do then? Sit around and twiddle my thumbs?" Bianca pouted, not entirely pleased. She had just found out she was pregnant and was already being bombarded with dos and don'ts. She could only imagine what it would be like once she started showing.

Determined to stand up for herself, Bianca pretended to be upset and looked at Hector with a feigned sense of neglect. "I get it, you don't care about me at all. It's only the baby you see.”

With that, she lowered her head, portraying a picture of dejection.

"Bee? How could | ever overlook you?" Hector panicked, pulling her into his lap. "I'm just really nervous because you're pregnant. You'll always be my number one."

Bianca perked up with a sly smile. "That's more like it, love. I'm just as thrilled as you are." Hector leaned in to kiss her smooth cheek. "Bee, | want to share our joy with everyone!"Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

He immediately got busy, first calling in a nutritionist to take care of Bianca's dietary needs and then hiring three maids to ensure her comfort.

After arranging everything, he shared the good news with Natalia, who sent her heartfelt congratulations and best wishes.

Overjoyed, Hector could hardly contain his happiness. He even announced the news on the company intranet, declaring an extra month's bonus for all employees in celebration of their impending bundle of joy. Congratulatory emails poured in like a blizzard, each carrying warm wishes for the couple.

After sorting through all the well-wishes, Hector, still buoyant with joy, wrapped an arm around Bianca's shoulders. "Bee, thanks for making me a daddy-to-be, and you're about to be a mommy."

Bianca looked at Hector, who seemed eager to broadcast their news to the entire world since learning about her pregnancy. "Yes," she nodded, her voice trembling with a touch of excitement. “If my mom hadn’t passed away so early, she would have been so happy to know I’m going to be a mother, too."

Hector hugged her tightly. "She would know, I'm sure of it."

As he gazed out the window at the fiery sunset, he suddenly thought of his parents back in Melfort. Right, why hadn't he shared the news with his parents first?
