The Imposter Bride (Natalia and Magnus)

Chapter 472

Chapter 472

Since his wife missed their child, he couldn’t bring up the topic of having more kids. Instead, he decided to simply take her to see Jonas.

Natalia clutched Magnus’ hand, a hint of surprise in her voice. "Really? We can actually go see Jonas?" Magnus nodded affirmatively. "My love, there's nothing we can't do if it makes you happy."

Overwhelmed with emotion, Natalia hugged Magnus tightly and whispered, "Magnus, you shouldn't be so good to me. | don't deserve all this kindness."

"My dear, you are the sole reason | breathe in this world. Loving you is not a deliberate act; it's pure instinct," Magnus said tenderly as he turned her around and kissed her passionately, just as the last rays of the sunset blushed behind the clouds and evening descended.

In the three-story beachfront mansion, enveloped by the twilight, a tender narrative of love unfolded.

The next day, Magnus had first-class plane tickets prepared bright and early. He opted against using a helicopter, wanting instead to savor the journey with Natalia.

The destination was home to one of the most formidable special forces bases in the world, known for its devilishly strict training. Many dignitaries sent their personal bodyguards here for training. As a young boy, Magnus himself was sent here by Morgan.

Upon arriving, Magnus and Natalia checked into the presidential suite of the five-star hotel owned by the Andersen family.

No sooner had they arrived at the hotel than Magnus hurriedly dialed his old friend Richard's number. Richard and Magnus had trained together at the base as kids and were very close. Currently, Richard was a special forces legend in the States, commanding respect from everyone.

After Magnus returned to take over the Andersen family business, Richard stayed behind at the base, working undercover and training recruits. Their bond had evolved into a profound camaraderie.

On his last visit, Magnus had entrusted Jonas to Richard, insisting he be tough on the boy, leaving no room for softness. Magnus trusted only Richard because only a brave eagle that dared to dive off cliffs deserved to soar through the blue skies.

Richard picked up quickly, his voice warm and jocular. "Hey, old pal Magnus, missing me already?"

Magnus couldn't help but roll his eyes. Richard, with his charm and humor, somehow passed the rigorous selection and became a special forces king, even staying on to train others.

Their former drill sergeant was known for his stone-cold demeanor, training them with an iron fist to pass the final tests. “Richard, I'm here. | want to see my son, Jonas. Can you arrange it?" Magnus asked, softening his voice.

"Sure, if he gets through today's rock climbing session, you can see him anytime," Richard replied casually.

“Rock climbing?!" Magnus’ voice spiked with surprise. "You don't mean the same kind we did?"

“Of course not, times have changed," Richard chuckled. "If you're interested, come by and watch. But don't let the lad see you; it might throw him off."

"Send me the location," Magnus said and hung up, heading for the door. Natalia quickly asked, "Where are you going?"

Magnus turned, kissed her forehead gently, and said, "Wait here for me, love. I'm going to check out our boy's progress at the base."

As he moved to leave, Natalia caught his sleeve. "May | come with you? I'm eager to see Jonas too." Magnus hesitated. "The training is rigorous. | don't want you to be upset seeing Jonas like that." Natalia shook her head vigorously. "I won't, | promise. I'll just stay behind you and won't say a word."

Convinced by her earnest gaze, Magnus drew her close. "Love, if it's what you wish, I'll never say no. Let's go see Jonas together."

Just then, Magnus' phone chimed. It was the message with Richard's location. Surprisingly, the base had moved, but it made sense—the years had passed since Magnus was last there.

With the location set, Magnus and Natalia drove to the base. Although he didn't voice it, Magnus was anxious about Jonas. He drove fast, reaching the address in no time.

The place was fenced with high iron gates, marked with a sign "Danger." Knowing the base's tactics, Magnus called Richard to come out and meet them.

The gates opened slowly, and Richard, with his flowing blond hair, greeted Ma nus aapeciySSHidy Niggas, it weren't for your boy, | bet you'd never step foot here again," Richard said, embracing his friend tightly. Please read the original content at NovelDrama.Org.

Magnus returned the hug and gave Richard a playful punch. "Of course, you're the only one eccentric enough to stay at this place."

Richard threw his head back and roared with laughter. "Of course, man! Staying here is the only shot | have at hazing the newbies."

As he spoke, Richard glanced over Magnus' shoulder, and his eyes popped in amazement. "Oh my stars, what do we have here? A vision of loveliness! How could | have missed her? My bad, truly my bad!"Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Though a soldier through and through, Richard's openness and easy demeanor were his trademarks.

But just as Richard reached out, Magnus stepped in, blocking his path. "Back off, buddy. Put a lid on your flirtatious nonsense. This is my wife, Natalia, and she's off-limits to your advances."

With a pout, Richard turned up the corners of his mouth. "Magnus, could you sag py great git O winroar'gividg me a heads up? | challenge you to a duel of sorts — let's see who can truly capture the lady's heart." Please read the original content at NovelDrama.Org.
