Chapter 416
Chapter 416
Natalia had learned the hard way that when Magnus got jealous, it was like a tempest sweeping through the quiet suburbs.
"Are you moving out? Fine, leave. But why the hell are you taking her with you?" Magnus yanked Natalia close, glaring at Hector with eyes that could start a bonfire.
“Let me make this clear, she's my wife, for life, and you better not try to wedge your way in between us!"
Hector's cool gaze never wavered as he looked back at Magnus. If it weren't for Natalia, he could take Magnus down ten times over without breaking a sweat.
"| may be moving out, but I'll still be there for Natalia, watching over her. And if you ever make her cry or fail to keep her happy, I'll come back and take her away!" His determination was as clear as the daylight in his eyes.
Asnide laugh escaped Magnus ' lips. "You won't get the chance! She'll be by my side for this entire life, through thick and thin; it's none of your business!"
“Let's see about that!" Hector pointed right at Magnus’ nose, smiling with a confident swagger. He turned on his heel and walked away, leaving behind the shadow of a lone figure.
Natalia's eyes welled up, nearly spilling over with tears. Magnus wrapped his arms around Natalia, his heart aching like it was being pricked by a thousand needles. He closed his eyes and pulled her head to his chest. "Babe, don't worry. I'll make you happy."
His jealousy was burning; she cared too much about Hector. She was heartbroken for Hector, unwilling to let go.
Magnus carried her bridal style into their mansion, up the stairs, and through the bedroom door. Gently laying her on the bed, he kissed her tear-stained lashes. "Babe, everything's gonna be alright." His kiss was fervent, savoring her sweetness.
Before Natalia could fully grasp the situation, her clothes had been shed, and Magnus was marking her skin with the imprint of his passion. He needed to brand her with his marks, to make her forget Hector.
His kisses were like fire, scorching Natalia's skin as he took her fiercely. Natalia silently bore the intensity of his relentless desire.
Across the English countryside, in another villa, James had been confined ever since Angela had hauled him back. She had arranged for a troop of bodyguards to keep watch, making sure that despite his strength, he couldn't breach her fortress.Exclusive © content by N(ô)ve/l/Drama.Org.
When James first woke up, he found himself in Angela's princess bed. He bolted upright, scanning the unfamiliar room, and remembered being knocked out by that... princess.
Damn it, being knocked out by a woman was a disgrace he couldn't afford.
As he was about to get up and put on his shoes, the door swung open. There was Angela, in a fiery red dress, sashaying in with a sway that belied her strength.
Seeing James on the bed, she smiled and approached. "Darling, you're awake. Are you hungry?" Angela sat on the bed, taking James' hand.
He jerked his hand away. "Look, Angela, was it? Why the hell did you knock me out and bring me here?" He was fuming inside. Being knocked out by a woman was a first for James in his life.
"Darling, | didn't tie you up. This is going to be our home. I've already told my father you're Vivian's dad. He's even asked the Queen to grant us a marriage."
"What did you just say?" James looked at the girl in shock. Marry him? Impossible! He never wanted to be tied down, to lose his freedom.
"We're getting married soon. Aren't you happy?" Angela's eyes were still full of mirth. Happy my foot! James did not want to get married, especially not because of a one-night stand.
"No, Angela, | won't marry you. What century is this? You can't just marry someone because of one night of passion." He stood up, ready to leave.
"I'm not a good man. I’m been with so many women before. You should find someone else to marry." He took a couple of steps towards the door but stopped when he didn't hear a response from Angela.
Glancing back, he saw tears on Angela's face. She was crying. James frowned; crying wouldn't change his mind. He couldn't get married, sorry.
He turned and strode out the door, marching down the stairs and out of the villa. As he opened the front door, four grim-looking bodyguards stood in formation.
Ignoring them, James tried to pass, only to be blocked. "Sir, without lady’s permission, you cannot leave."
"Move!" His anger flared.
