Chapter 390
Chapter 390
Noelle had just started at the company. Since Brian had not assigned her any specific tasks, she was not quite sure what she was supposed to be doing. She asked Arya for some past project files to review, trying to understand Brian's style and approach.
While she was engrossed in her research, Brian himself unexpectedly appeared. Noelle closed the files and followed Brian into his office.
This was the second time Noelle had been in Brian's office, and it looked much the same as before, with the only noticeable difference being that the previously cluttered desk was now tidy and clear of documents.
Brian noticed Noelle observing the office and gestured for her to sit down. "Ms. Shaw, there's no need to be nervous. Since you've passed the assessment, welcome to the project department. Let's work hard together and make progress."
"Thank you." Noelle nodded and smiled. "Mr. Parker, there's no need to be so formal. You can call me Noelle."
Brian was a bit surprised by her response. Although he had met Noelle before, he still did not know much about her personality. Now, he knew she was Charles' wife.
Both times they had interacted, Noelle remained calm and collected, showing no signs of anxiety. In Brian's experience, someone in Noelle's position, married to a man like Charles, would likely carry herself with a certain air of superiority.
Yet, Noelle seemed unaffected by such notions, which Brian found admirable.
Since Noelle had not revealed her true identity and because he had been instructed to keep it confidential, Brian decided to act as though he did not know.
"Alright then, Noelle." He smiled. "I noticed you were reviewing some past project files earlier?"Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
"Yes, that's right."
"What are your thoughts?" Brian asked casually, leaning back in his chair. "Feel free to share."
"Huh?" Noelle was caught off guard, not expecting Brian to throw such a challenging question at her right away.
"Well, those projects are already
completed, and I think the final
outcomes were excellent. Several of

"As for other aspects, I have to admit that while I previously worked in the project department of my old company, my experience is
somewhat limited. I still have a lot to learn." Content belongs to
Noelle spoke humbly but truthfully. Her time at Frotconn had provided her with experience, but the company was small, limiting her exposure to broader aspects of project management.
Brian nodded in agreement. "Just reviewing these files won't offer you much benefit. I'm not a fan of theoretical knowledge alone; I prefer hands-on experience."
As he spoke, Brian stood up, grabbed his suit jacket, and tapped the table. "Since you've just joined the company and don't have any tasks at the moment..."
Noelle was about to mention this when Brian preemptively addressed it. Seeing Brian's current demeanor, she asked, "Mr. Parker, are you heading out?"
"Yes," Brian replied, pulling a folder from his drawer and adding some documents to it. "Since you don't have much to do right now, why don't you come with me?"
"Now?" Noelle exclaimed in surprise but quickly recovered. "Alright, I'll get ready and join you!"
Brian noted Noelle's quick response and appreciated that she did not display the entitled attitude typical of the wealthy.
His impression of her improved further. When he stepped out and closed the door, Noelle was already prepared and waiting for him, ready to go.
