Chapter 328
Noelle nodded, glancing shyly at Charles, signaling him to let go of her hand. However, Charles acted as if he did not notice.
Ronald quickly turned his head to the side, thinking to himself that he was really being tortured here. He had not even had breakfast yet and was already stuffed with their sweetness.
Noelle pulled her hand away from Charles. "I'm going now!"
Charles withdrew his gaze and gave Ronald a casual look. "Where are the things?"
"Here!" Ronald quickly handed a long box to Charles. "Mr. Quinn said it's an original piece by Zephyr Longbottom. You mentioned you wanted to give it to Sir Shaw."
Charles glanced at Ronald, who immediately fell silent. "Mr. Quinn has restored it again. It's in excellent condition."
Charles nodded, opened the box to take a look, and then closed it again. "And the rest?"
"I put everything else in your car," Ronald said. Knowing that Charles was going to visit Noelle's grandfather, Ronald had started gathering items since last night. Early this morning, he went to one of Collosus' malls to handle everything and had it sent over without delay.
Charles nodded. "Alright. You can go now."
Ronald hesitated for a moment. "Yes, sir!"
When Noelle came out, only Charles was left in the spacious living room. She looked around. "Where's Mr. Wells?"
"He went back." Charles was reading a finance magazine. Hearing her, he looked up. "Why? Did you need something from him?" Noelle shook her head. "I was just thinking, making him work on a weekend seems a bit harsh." She then added, "Well, the meal's ready." Charles put down the magazine and walked toward Noelle.
Today, he was dressed simply in casual home clothes, a light gray tracksuit. Yet, it seemed to have a strikingly attractive effect on him.
He was always a composed person. In a suit, he looked aloof and distant. In casual wear, however, he appeared gentle at least to Noelle.
He had the kind of physique that looked good in anything, giving off an air of elegance.
"Don't worry about him. If you knew how much paid him monthly and his annual bonuses, you probably wouldn't feel sorry for him," Charles said lightly while glancing at the food on the table. "Didn't I say to keep it simple?"
"It's already noon! It can't be too simple now," Noelle said, giving Charles a playful glare. "It's all your fault!"
Noelle and Samuel had arranged to meet in the afternoon at Bamboo Grove House.
Charles had chosen the place, but Bamboo Grove House was indeed a good choice due to its elegant atmosphere.
Noelle and Charles arrived first. Seeing Charles with the same woman from before, the manager was quick to accommodate them.
Since Charles had personally called
e
to book the place and requested it to be closed to the public for the day, the manager had started
nov
preparations from noon.
"Mr. Hoffman, this is the Elegant Pavilion. What do you think?"
Charles took Noelle's hand and walked in. He glanced around and nodded. "It's fine."Content from NôvelDr(a)ma.Org.
The manager felt relieved. "I'll have everything prepared right away."
After the manager left, Noelle looked around the private room, her eyes lighting

we went to last time!"
Charles nodded, guiding Noelle to sit down. He kept holding her hand, placing it on his knee and gently playing with her fingers.
