The CEO’S Unplanned Heir novel (Aurelia and Leopold)

Chapter 1272

Chapter 1272

"Take your time, hon. I'll head up." Leopold climbed the stairs, a steaming bowl of beef stew in hand for

Aurelia.

Aurelia was lounging on the couch, engrossed in the latest Netflix series when the scent of savory

comfort wafted through the room.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, babe," Leopold said as he placed the bowl on the coffee table.

She couldn't resist and took a hearty spoonful, her craving for Leopold's homemade beef stew

peculiarly strong today.

"It's delicious. I just needed your stew today, and it must be the little one's craving too."

Leopold stroked her hair affectionately, "They're craving it, huh? And what about you?"

"Of course, I am. I just don't want you to overwork yourself, whipping up meals late at night." Her smile

was warm.

He wrapped an arm around her, "Nothing makes me happier than taking care of you."

After polishing off the stew, Aurelia patted her belly, content and full.

"I've been so hungry lately, craving everything. I hope this little one isn't turning into a tiny foodie."

"Nothing wrong with a foodie," Leopold chuckled.

Aurelia was mindful of not gaining too much; maintaining a healthy weight during pregnancy was

crucial for bouncing back postpartum. She didn't want childbirth to be the end of her figure or her

beauty.

A socialite must always stay on point, look and all, or risk a wandering husband.

In the next room over.

Mira was perched on the sofa, an animated movie playing as she nibbled on snacks.

Nina looked at her with exasperation, "Mira, you're sneaking treats again. Aunt Aurelia said no late-

night snacks, or you'll put on weight."

Mira stuck her tongue out playfully, "It's the holidays. Aunt Aurelia said we can eat whatever we want

during the festivities, and diet starts after."

Nina stood, hands on hips, glaring, "Keep that up, and you won't be able to shake the weight off."

Just then, Nina's iPad pinged, and a video call from Sheryl.

"Nina, Mira, you're still up?"

"Mommy," they exclaimed with joy, "Are you still at Grandma's? When are you coming back?"

"I'll be back in a few days," Sheryl replied.

"Mom, I miss you so much. Mira and I will come to see you when you're back," Nina said.

"I miss you both, my darlings," Sheryl responded.

Mira, mouth full of cake, mumbled, "Mommy, bring back some of Grandma's potato chips. I love them."

Sheryl advised, "Nina, you're the older sister. You understand more, so look after her, okay?"

Nina crossed her arms, pouting, "I do look after her, but she never listens. She always wants to argue."

"I won't argue with you," Mira retorted, "You're always scolding me. I don't like being scolded." Coոtent All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

Mira shook her head vigorously, "I don't get it. I have my own mind. Just leave me be."

Nina shot her a glare, "Mom, see? She doesn't listen at all. She's being naughty."

"I am not. I just listen to Aunt Aurelia. She always praises me, says I'm a good kid," Mira stated with

conviction.
