MISTAKE 157
Chapter 157: A Bad plan
The internet was exploding with blame and rumors, with each new comment making the online fight even worse. Anya sat watching it all, shaking her head at how ridiculous everything had become. She knew exactly who was spreading all these lies about her and her sister Emma – lies that could ruin their names and cause huge problems.
It was their Aunt Gina who was secretly pulling the strings, carefully planning all this mess. Anya could tell Gina was getting desperate, trying super hard to make people suspect Anya and Emma instead of her. But Anya wasn’t falling for it.
With a small smile, Anya looked through all the latest accusations on her phone, feeling both amused and annoyed. The claims were so crazy and unbelievable, but somehow more and more people were starting to believe them.
But Anya wouldn’t let what everyone was saying change her mind. She knew what was really true, and she refused to get dragged into all the lies and tricks. Seeing what Gina was doing just made Anya more determined to show everyone who was really behind this mess.
As she kept reading through all the wild stories online, Anya couldn’t believe how bold her enemies were being. The lies about Emma, the threats against their mother–in–law – each new story was crazier than the last, but people online were treating every word like it was completely true.
“The person who posted this, what was the threat? I threaten people everyday, it might not be what we think.” someone commented under the post.
“Is that what really matters?”
“Should she be threatening her mother–in–law? Is that how a well trained child should behave?” the author of the post commented.
“I have a mother–in–law. It is God and distance that is keeping her alive. I would have ended her by now and surrendered to the police.”
“True, what did the mother–in–law do?”
But Anya could see past all the tricks to what was really going on. She knew that Gina was actually the one making all this drama happen, working secretly to save herself by making other people look bad instead of her.
While Anya read through the flood of mean comments and lies online, she actually felt kind of good. She knew that the truth would win in the end, and that Mrs. Smith and Gina’s plan to ruin their names wouldn’t work out.
Every minute that passed made Anya more sure about what she had to do. She was going to show these women who thought she was weak that they were wrong. They wouldn’t learn their lesson until things got really serious. Fine if that’s how they wanted it, she’d play
along. Since they wanted everyone to know what they were, she wouldn’t stop until they got exactly that kind of attention.
Walle everyone online kept freaking out and fighting. Anya stayed calm through it all. She wouldn’t be gster, she wouldn’t let them scare her, and the definitely wouldn’t let herself get pushed around by comments from people who didn’t know what they were talking about.
Let them talk. It was only a matter of time before she would answer them. She wanted to know what those who are pushing the boat of this scandal would do by that time.
Daniel entered the bedroom to find Anye sitting on the edge of the bed, her gaze fixed on her phone screen Concem enched his features as he approached her
“Anya you shouldn’t be reading those comments” he urged gently, his voice tinged with
Anya glanced up, meeting Daniel’s concerned eyes with a reassuring smile. “Don’t worry about me, Daniel. I know exactly who’s behind all this negativity, and their opinion doesn’t
“But still, it’s not good for you to dwell on it.” Daniel insisted, his brows furrowing with Coonem. “This were of negative public opinion surrounding you and Emma is getting out of
Anga waned off bis coooms with a dismissive gesture. “I understand your concern, Daniel, bor trust me, I have a plan to deal with this. I’m just waiting for the right moment to address it.
Daniel let out a sigh, shaking his head slightly
understand, Anya, but I think this situation
has fermented enough. It’s time to take action before things escalate further.”
A small chuckle escaped Anya’s lips at Daniel’s choice of words. “You’re probably right,” she conceded, a hint of amusement in her voice “Richard, Emma’s lawyer, will likely start stirring up trouble soon enough
Daniel nodded in agreement, a determined glint in his eyes. “Exactly. We can’t afford to wait any longer. We need to tackle this head–on before it gets any worse.”
Anya nodded, her expression serious now. “You’re right, Daniel. let me make post,” she said.
Anya sat at her desk, her fingers poised over the keyboard as she prepared to make a bold statement. With determination in her eyes, she began typing out her message.
She logged onto her social media and made a long post. Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
Is read, “Hello there, it is my first time seeing all of you who have appeared on my page for the first time. For those who are wondering how my sister, Emma and I inherited our mother’s property, you are wondering wrong. We inherited our late mother’s property. My Uncle may com property, but that has nothing to do with us as we are not close. My mother is the true oster of the company now known as Jones Co given to her by her father before passing. After
she died, his wife and her son took over the property and threw my mother and her children out. My sister and I were forcefully separated after she orchestrated a fake kidnapping and the company was passed to her son, Martin Jones. I am not sure what property my uncle has, but I am sure he has left it for his son. He is currently unconscious and true, my sister and I have not gone
to visit him. He tricked my sister into marrying the walking manure, Charles smith to benefit his business where she was abused by him and my little nephew almost killed by that walking corpse, Mrs Smith. If any of you want that family, I can ship you to them, no shipping fee necessary. As for my sister and I, we do not care if Martin Jones or his mother gets sick, does well or even drops dead. Good night.
As she hit the “post” button, the message went live, instantly sparking a wildfire of reactions across social media platforms. Comments and reactions flooded in, ranging from support to outrage, as the internet erupted in chaos.
Her post cause commotion online as several media outlets caught wind of it and spread it. There were many who were skeptical about the claims made against the Smith family.
“So it was their mother’s company and has nothing to do with their Uncle.” one said.
“It was their inheritance,” another said.
“So what? Their Uncle watched it for years and they just take it from him?”
“Why should they keep it with him? Besides, why did old master Jones pass his entire property to his daughter and not his son?”
“The woman has died and left her children her property. What does it have to do with random people?”
“It’s my birthday today, someone wish me happy birthday.”
“And who says he did not benefit? All these years he has probably been getting all the dividends. He has already taken enough.”
“All of you are really funny. He obviously doesn’t own it. Yet he kept it and threw the owners out. But you are thinking they are going too far?”
“Someone said their mother was sick for years and the daughters worked several jobs to pay bills. All the while, he was sitting on their inheritance. I’m now their mom is dead, who would be nice?”
“The person above you
you are right. I would have done worse. If I was in their shoes,” The public weighed in. But someone was controlling the narrative.
