Star POV

I wake up slowly to someone stroking my hair.

I look up and see Lexi starting down at me, his sexy grey eyes still cloudy with sleep.

“morning baby, did you sleep well?”

I lift my face for his k**s, which he willingly gave.

“I slept so well. How long have you been awake, baby? You still look tired.”

I caress his cheek with my hand, he nozzles me and places a k**s on my wrist.

I nod, “sorry baby, I shouldn’t have let them stay…..” he cuts me off with a k**s.

“You did the right thing, baby. He is your dad, but you know how protective I am of you. I kinda love you, you know.”

I grin at him. “I kinda love you too, silly boy, now I’m hungry, so let’s make breakfast.”

I shimmy down the bed first, but as soon as I am out of Ace’s arms, he snuggles into Lex.

Alexei’s face is so funny. He rolls his eyes as his big brother tries to spoon him.

I try to hold in my laughter, but they are so f*****g adorable that I let out a loud snort, which makes me laugh even harder.

Ace wakes with a start, staring at me in confusion, then he turns to Lexi, who is giving him a cheeky grin.

“Awww, my big bro needed a hug this morning.

Do you wanna k**s me too, or are you done?”

Ash props himself up on his elbow, staring at his cuddling brothers, then grinning launches himself on top of them.

“You can’t cuddle without me, I’ll tell mum you left me out.”

This sends me into hysterics. I laugh so hard my sides hurt.

Ace moves like lighting grabbing me around the waist and throwing me on the bed.

“Think it’s funny, huh Tink, sneaking out of my bed and making me spoon my bro? This is definitely going on the punishment list.”

He tickles me, then someone blows raspberries on my tummy.

I can’t breathe, so I tap out and shout for mercy.

Lying on my back trying to catch my breath, I hold my arms up to Ace.

He leans over and takes my mouth in a k**s that makes me lose my breath again.

i reach for Ashton’s k**s good morning. “Come on guys, I am starving.”

I head for the kitchen and start a fresh pot of coffee, then pull ingredients from the fridge.

Mmm chocolate chip pancakes I think.

As I am mixing the batter, Ash hugs me from behind. “morning angel, watch a making?”

“Pancakes, do you think we should cook some sausage and bacon, too? We have seven hungry men to feed.”

He nibbles on my neck for a minute, making my knees go weak. Putting the bowl down, I turn in his arms and wrap mine around his neck.

Pulling him in, I hungrily k**s him.

He growls and pushes me against the counter, lifting me against him.

I wrap my legs around his waist as our k**s becomes heated.

“You are supposed to be making breakfast, naughty fairy.”

I look over Ash’s shoulder and grin at Lex and Ace. “I can’t help it if you are all so sexy, and he started it.”

I wriggle away from Ash and put sausages in a pan.

The boys busy themselves with breakfast prep.

It’s not long before our guests join us in the kitchen.

I walk up to Liam and give him a quick awkward hug and send them to the dining room.

The boys and I carry the food to the table and take our seats. Everyone is quiet.

No one knows how to start a conversation after the discoveries of the night before.

My dad is gripping Campbell’s hand like a lifeline, and I finally see the truth.

I may never know what my mother was feeling or going through, but I can see with my own eyes the toll it has taken on my father. I see the truth in his eyes.

“Alpha Liam….”

“Please Star, call me Liam. I hope one day you would think to call me your pa, but I know we are a long way from that.” he gives me a small sad smile, which I return.

“Liam, my wolf Saffron spoke to the Lunas wolf, Glory, last night, my mother….um my adopted mother’s wolf Trixie was always nervous of Thalia’s wolf, Haven. She said that she seemed to have too much control.”

Pausing, I try to find the right words, “Trixie thought its may be because of the power that Haven had, but as Saffron is just as powerful, but would never take away my control unless it was necessary.”

Liam has stopped eating and is looking at me with such hope, I smile at him.

“I may never know what happened to my mother once she ran away from you or what was happening to her, but I believe your version of events, and I would very much like to get to know you.”

Tears run down his face, “thank you my Astéri, you have made me so happy.”

Tears in my own eyes I grin at him, “would you go for a walk with me after breakfast, I would say just the two of us but I can already feel four very protective wolves waiting to object to that, so they can come but they will give us space.”

I glare at my mates and then turn the look on Campbell, who grins at me, “aye Luna, that will be grand.”
