Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 342

Chapter 342

After lunch, they went for a stroll to help with digestion.

That was how Chad’s bank account took a “walk” and was $20,000 lighter.

The next day at school, Molly showed off her new outfit. "Looks good, doesn't it? Just bought it

yesterday." This text is © NôvelDrama/.Org.

Mia looked at Molly's beautiful dress with envy, "It really looks great."

The dress highlighted Molly's good figure, while Mia could only wear loose maternity clothes. Not that

her clothes were not pretty, but she couldn't wear anything fancier.

Her mom bought her a gray maternity dress at home that she could wear even when not pregnant. The

pure cotton material was very comfortable against her belly.

Madison gave the dress to her daughter, and Mia liked it. But because the dress was form-fitting, her

belly looked particularly big when she wore it. It wasn't suitable for school, so she would only try it on in

the dressing room after a shower to look at her figure.

She asked Andre to take out her old clothes, change into the dress, and then zip it up from behind.

Andre was worried several times that he might hurt her belly.

"After the baby is born, I'm going on a shopping spree!" she declared.

Leo joked from the side, "My uncle won't let you out just after giving birth. He'll probably bring the mall

home to you."

Mia responded, "That's a possibility."

Molly sat next to Mia, sharing her weekend, "On Saturday, I went to Jack's party and stayed out too

late. My brother gave me a good scolding."

Mentioning Jack, Leo suddenly remembered something important he had to share with Mia and Molly.

"His family is a real piece of work. His mom's so full of herself, looking down on people lower in status

and sucking up to those higher. His dad's got a mistress and Jack even has an illegitimate sister. Their

family is a complete mess, we should stay away from them."

Mia chimed in with something she had forgotten to mention. "That's not all, Jack is totally not boyfriend

material. He had a girlfriend overseas and dumped her over religious differences. His mom even made

a scene at school, and the poor girl ended up transferring because of depression. If Andre knew he

was after you, he would hit the roof."

Leo looked at Mia in surprise. "How do you know all this?"

Mia quizzed Leo in return, "How do you know all this?"

Leo replied, "I did some digging."

Mia responded, "I had Cooper look into it."

Cooper was a fellow student studying abroad, one of the few to get a Ph.D., so it was easy to dig up

dirt on Jack. After finding out what he had done, Cooper was disgusted and shared a piece of advice

with Mia.

Mia turned to her friend, "Also, Cooper told me not to take him too seriously."

Molly looked at her two friends and said, "I know all the things you’ve mentioned."

Mia and Leo were confused.

Molly reminded them, "Have you forgotten my brother Chad?"

Mia asked, "Can he still investigate things overseas?"

Molly replied, "I don't know about that, but I know he can get all the information on him. The other night,

he even replied to a message from Jack using my phone."

Molly showed them the message and asked, "Doesn't this message seem a bit weird?"

Leo glanced at it and blurted out, "You and your brother are sleeping together."

After saying that, Leo got hit by Mia.

Mia looked at the message and pondered, "Molly, Andre wouldn't dare send a message like this to my

boy friends using my phone."

Leo's hand was on his just-hit shoulder. "My uncle would usually go straight to your boy friends."

Mia gave his other arm a punch.

Leo fell silent. He felt like telling the truth always got him hit.

Annoyed, Leo left them and went to sit in the second row alone.

"By the way, Molly, did you know my grandpa's game account got hacked?" Leo suddenly remembered

to ask.

Mia also remembered yesterday's chaos at home and told Molly, "Oh right, if Leo hadn't mentioned it, I

would have forgotten. Our dad was furious all day yesterday because his game account got hacked. It

was leveled up to 28, and then abandoned. Dad called the game company yesterday and almost got

into a fight with customer service. If the police accepted such reports, I bet he would have reported it

out of rage. He woke up to find his game account had been used by someone else."

Molly, thinking back to Saturday, shifted her gaze between the two. She felt a bit guilty, and then she

blinked and swallowed, "I did that."

Mia and Leo both stared at Molly in shock.

Leo was almost yelling, "I spent all morning yesterday helping Grandpa change his password!"

Mia suggested, "Molly, after school, you should buy some snacks for Hansen. Apologize to him with

snacks."

After school, Molly really did go to buy snacks.

When she got home, Hansen lectured her while munching on the snacks.

Andre came home and saw his sister listening to their dad. "Was Dad's game level raised by Molly?"

Mia nodded.

After Saturday's party, everyone knew Molly liked to play games. These days, Jack had been learning

the game Molly played, trying to get closer to her through her hobby.

Finally, he got the hang of it.

One day, Jack called Molly.

It happened to be noon, and Molly was having lunch with Mia and Leo at the apartment.

Molly picked up the phone, "Hello, Jack, what's up?"

"Molly, have you had lunch?"

"I'm eating right now."

Jack asked with a laugh, "Can I play the game with you after your meal?"

Molly replied, "I'm taking a nap after this. If you want to play, you can find other friends."

Jack asked again, "Are you free this weekend? There’s a new movie out. I’d like to invite you."

Molly replied, "Well, I need to study this weekend."

Jack was a bit bummed, he asked, "So when are you free? I can make time for you."

Leo lightly tapped the table, reaching out towards Molly, "Give it to me, I'll talk to him."

Molly waved him off, indicating that she could handle it herself. "Jack, are you into me or something?"

Caught off guard by her directness, Jack was a bit awkward but he confirmed, "I'm into you. I was

attracted to you the moment I first saw you. Molly, where are you right now? I want to see you and tell

you my feelings in person."

Leo's fist clenched tightly, rage simmering within him. This guy actually had the nerve to pursue Molly.

Molly asked, "Jack, does your family have any specific beliefs?"

She brought up the matter of Jack's ex-girlfriend.

Jack, of course, knew that Molly was aware of his past. After a moment's thought, he fibbed to Molly,

"No, our family doesn't have any particular beliefs."

Molly gave a flirtatious smile, "Well, you know what? My family is Christian!"

Then, she said, "You're not good enough for me, bye!"
