Chapter 1001 I Never Want To See Cameron Again
Kurt was taken aback.
For the past few days, he had been wildly passionate with Blaze and left his mark all over her.
If this woman in his arms was truly Blaze, then there must be many marks on her body.
“I will go ahead and look. Do you think I'm scared of you? I'd like to see what tricks you can pull...”
His words abruptly ended as he pulled open the clothing on the woman's shoulder. What he saw was a
stretch of fair skin without any trace or mark.
What?
How could this be possible?
He had clearly left many marks on her. Why have they all disappeared now?
“Tell me. Who are you?”
With a forceful grip, Kurt clutched the woman's neck in his hands. His crimson eyes bore into her with
such intensity. It was as if he wished to devour her alive.
Bailey kindly explained, “You fell into a trap in the Venom Valley. Now that we've broken into the castle
to rescue Blaze, who do you think this woman could be?”
Kurt was not stupid. He understood immediately.
“Cersei, you wretch... Tell me. Why did you betray me? What's in it for you?”
With his hands around her neck, Cersei was unable to utter a single word. Tears fell from her eyes like
beads from a broken string, and they poured down ceaselessly.
With a smile, Bailey said, “Actually, there's no real benefit for her. It's just that Ms. White was too lonely,
so we arranged a man for her. The two of them spent the night together, and then she willingly started
working for us. The process was really quite simple. Thanks to Ms. White's assistance, we are able to
capture all of you so easily today.”
Kurt was seething with anger. The veins on his arm were bulging prominently. The strength in his
fingers increased manifold.
The very next moment, a grating crackle echoed through the air.
He, astonishingly, snapped Cersei's neck.
Such a ruthless man.
After all, she was his half-sister from the same father. Yet, he did not even blink an eye as he killed her.
Cersei breathed her last, but her eyes refused to close. Her eyes remained wide open in disbelief.
Kurt tossed her aside as if discarding the trash. He then turned his cold gaze toward Bailey. “You're
good. All of you are d*mn good.”
As soon as he finished speaking, he turned to the few remaining subordinates around him and ordered,
“Break out! Cover me as I escape.”
“Escape?” Blaze let out a cold laugh. Her eyes, which were full of hatred, fell on him as if she wanted to
turn him into ashes.
“I've gritted my teeth and endured humiliation up until now, not because I fear death, but because I
want to personally exact my own revenge. Kurt, today you've fallen into my hands. All the torment I've
endured in the past, I will repay you in full, with interest.”
Kurt was frightened by the intense hatred in her eyes.
He knew that once he fell into the hands of this madwoman, he would be doomed eternally.
No, perhaps even death would be a luxury.
She would make him yearn for life yet unable to seek death. He would be constantly living in the
torment of pain.
She would not stop until the last glimmer within his body was squeezed out before casting him into the
abyss, never to be reborn for all eternity.
He became afraid.
As a poison-crafting expert, he was usually the one others feared.
But now... he was fearful of this person to his very core.
Blaze looked into his eyes, which were filled with intense fear, and gave a cold smile. With a swift
movement, she had already cornered him.
By the time Kurt realized and wanted to fight back, it was already too late.
Waves of pungent odors assaulted his senses. His eyes throbbed with sharp pain, and it plunged his
entire world into darkness.
“Ah, my eyes, I...”
His voice abruptly ceased.
After inhaling the poisonous powder, his vocal cords were damaged as well.
Next came the loss of hearing and then the sense of smell. One by one, every human sense of his was
disappearing.
What remained was endless pain.
Blood was flowing from every orifice. The scene was shockingly horrifying.
Those loyal to Kurt in the vicinity had already been controlled by Artemis' men. Blaze stood in front of
Kurt boldly and vented her pent-up hatred as if she had gone mad.
Over the years, she had developed quite a few poisons, and now she was using them all on Kurt.
Such torment was akin to the eighteen levels of hell, where one's life was a living hell.
“Kurt, as I've said before, I will rip you into a thousand pieces and grind your bones to dust.”
Within the vast castle, the cold and bloodthirsty voice of Blaze echoed and lingered for a long time.
Bailey wanted to go up and pull her away, but Artemis stopped her.
She harbored so much resentment in her heart. If she did not vent it out, the pain in her would persist.
“I don't know how she should face the future, but letting her vent her feelings freely at this moment
might not be a bad thing.”
Bailey turned her face away slightly as two trails of clear tears streamed down from the corners of her
eyes.
Even though she had not witnessed firsthand what Blaze had been through during this period, she
could easily guess.
If she were in this situation and tormented by another man to this extent, she believed she would not be
able to go on living.
Blaze had pulled through. Her willpower was stronger than hers.
She truly wished that the heavens would show mercy and grant this poor girl a chance at a new life,
freeing her from torment and allowing her to live in peace for the rest of her life.
From sunrise to sunset, Blaze never ceased her torment. She tortured Kurt for an entire day.
She kept poisoning him over and over again before giving him the antidotes. This went on in an
endless cycle.
Kurt's bodily functions had been completely destroyed, and he suffered severe internal bleeding. He
wanted to die but could not as his life was being sustained by Bailey's medicinal pills.
Nightfall descended.
Bailey and Artemis returned to the castle, where they saw Blaze sitting on the steps. She was leaning
her head against a stone pillar and gazing blankly at the distant starry sky.
Artemis lowered his voice and said, “Go and comfort her. Tell her about Cameron's true feelings for her.
Give her a reason to live on first.”
Bailey lightly hummed in agreement before pacing over to sit next to Blaze.
“Do you know why we cry when we are born?”
Blaze shifted her stiff body. Her hollow eyes gradually filled with anxiety.
“I don't know.”
Bailey reached out to embrace her. She said with a teary voice, “It's because we're here to suffer.
That's why we feel pain and cry. In this world, there are far too many things that can break one's heart.
I used to believe that my eldest son had died, and so, for seven years, I lived in the pain of losing a
child. The heavens always have a way of making our lives unbearable. From high above, they watch as
the masses wail and scream at their feet. Your predicament is indeed regrettable, but it's not an excuse
to run away. Pull yourself together. After all, it's better to be alive than to be a handful of earth.”
Blaze twitched her mouth and forced a strained smile.
However, it was a sad smile that subtly revealed a hidden sorrow.
It was heartbreaking.
“I can continue to live, but I will never see Cameron again in this lifetime, Bailey. This is the only shred
of dignity I have left.”
Bailey breathed a sigh of relief.
It was good that she did not want to take her own life.
As for her and Cameron, they would always be able to meet each other in the vast sea of people in the
future.
“All right, I'll cover you as you leave. I promise you that Cameron will not know of your whereabouts.” NôvelDrama.Org copyrighted © content.
After some thought, Blaze added, “Cameron wholeheartedly believes in that impostor. If her intentions
toward Cameron are genuine, let her continue her charade.”
