Sextuplets From Ruthless Love

Chapter 73

The car accident must have inflicted great damage on her. She would not forgive him. That was why she hid her identity from him when she was back in Horington. He wanted so much to hug her and called her out affectionately, but he couldn't. He knew it would scare away the scarred woman.

He would reappear in front of her and start their relationship anew. The past would stay the past. "Jessica, I will repay the sin I committed," he swore in his mind.

Leah hurriedly came over when she spotted Trevor, and cooed in an alluring voice, "Trevor, why are you here? I've been looking for you for a long time."

Jessica jolted when she heard Leah. She turned around and met Trevor's gaze. Puzzled, she looked into his moist eyes and wondered, "Has he been standing here for a long time?" Trevor was afraid of being discovered by Jessica, so he quickly said, "Isn't Bennett such a good boy."

Yes." Jessica nodded and hummed in response.

So Trevor was also watching Bennett here. His presence actually startled Jessica as she thought Trevor was eyeing her.

"Bennett and Trevor are like two peas in a pod. Both are handsome and excellent," Leah chimed in, trying to initiate a conversation with Trevor.

Her mother told her that Trevor was the most talented young man in Horington.Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.

She was determined to woo the man over.

"The boy is like his mother. My wife is an extraordinary person."

Trevor had no idea how gentle his tone was when he mentioned his wife.

Jessica's hands trembled when she heard those words. Her eyes constricted as she thought, "What does he mean by his wife? Why does it sound so ironic?"

"Trevor, I have never met Mrs. Gulliford, nor have I heard of your marriage before."

"I've never been married, and I won't ever get married in my life. I lost the person I love the most and can't find her again," Trevor interrupted, his eyes dimmed as he spoke. Jessica gave a half-smile, her heart aching even more. "I won't disturb you two. Please excuse me."

Then, she turned around and left. She took a deep breath while looking at the bustling crowd.

All of her good mood had disappeared.

Trevor turned to look at her back and clenched his fists.

"Jessica, please don't be like this." The sight of her lonely back almost suffocated him.

With a glass of whiskey in her hand, Jessica found a corner to sit and sighed repeatedly. She had already moved on after the past three years.

She thought she could take the whole scenario calmly, whether it was the war that lasted five years the car accident three years ago. Yet, she was thrown off by the avalanche of emotions bubbling through her mind at the moment.

"Jessica, what's wrong with you?" she asked herself.

"Jessica, what got you carried away?"

Rafe came over with a smile in his

eyes. He

didn't see her after the

volleyball match. It turned out that

was drinking here.

W?

"Nothing. Is the wound on your face okay?" Jessica looked at the redness on his face and asked softly.

She didn't expect Trevor was so

good at playing volleyball. Prior to this, she only knew that he was good at billiards and golf, today she discovered another one of his hidden talents.

This man excelled in everything.

"It's okay. I didn't expect Mr. Gulliford to play volleyball so well."

"Neither did I," Jessica echoed and raised her hand to take a sip of wine.

"Jessica, where did you work before?"

Rafe did not believe that the respected Trevor was picking on him for Jessica's sake.

Jessica was merely a front desk who had just joined the company recently. There was no way

Trevor would fall for her. It must be all a coincidence.

"I never worked before," Jessica trotted out. It was impossible for her to share with him about her past overseas.

"Perhaps our Jessica here used to be the boss?" Rage chided.
