Chapter 1566
The video captured everything, from Tyrone and Jennie entering the mall to their departure. Keilani had only been at the bathroom door for a brief minute. It was during that minute Bettie bumped into Keilani standing beside Tyrone.
The moment Tyrone laid eyes on Bettie, he was certain she’d inform Sabrina. So he had already arranged for someone to secure the video footage. The person who got the video even pinpointed when Keilani showed up.
Sabrina, after quickly viewing the clip, questioned, “Who’s that woman?”
Without hesitation, Tyrone dialed her number.
The moment the call connected, Tyrone explained, “She’s Royce Nelson’s niece, Keilani Wilson. Just a few days back, she flew here, claiming Kira had sent her to check on Wanda and Jennie. She visited Wanda’s house today at noon, and Wanda invited her for lunch…”
Tyrone went on, giving Sabrina every little detail, and ended with, “I’ve told her not to show up in front of me again.”
After Tyrone finished, silence fell.
“Did she really go to see Wanda and Jennie? Why do I get the feeling she came for you?” Sabrina couldn’t help but laugh a little.
“No matter her intent, I’ll thwart her plans,” Tyrone declared with determination.
Sabrina chuckled, acknowledging his wit. “You’re sharp.”
Tyrone, visibly relieved, inquired, “Do you know her, Sabrina?” He seemed to be confident about the answer.
Sabrina neither confirmed nor denied it. “Considering your words, she must have spoken about me in your presence. What did she say?” Content © NôvelDrama.Org.
“I won’t buy into whatever she tells me.”
Raising her eyebrows, Sabrina remarked, “Tyrone, you’re quite something now.”
Tyrone, with a smile, steered the conversation in a different direction. “So, when will you return?”
“Soon.”
Before heading home, Sabrina invited Bella, Collen, and some other friends to dinner, indicating that she would return to Philade some days.
After entering the office at about 8:20 a.m., Shirley spotted a cup of milk and a lunch box on her desk. She opened it to find an omelet and two eggs.
Shirley furrowed her brow subtly, stealing a discreet glance at Trevor.
In response, Trevor flashed her a warm smile.
Avoiding further eye contact, Shirley settled into her seat.
Retrieving her mobile phone, she sent a message to Trevor, saying, “I’ll leave the breakfast in the tea room later. You can help yourself to it.”
Company policies frowned upon office romances.
Although Shirley and Trevor were in the same department, their separate projects kept their work connections minimal. Trevor’s bringing breakfast for her could quickly spark office gossip and speculation about their relationship.
