onto the back of the bar, he picked up different liquor bottles, mixing them together before topping it all
with a cherry.
“Travis makes some of the best drinks.” Ryan whispered into my ear and I shivered at the touch of his
lips against the shell of my lips. How his hot breath played against my skin, making goosebumps rise. I
turned my head to look up at him. His tongue was tucked behind his teeth as he looked down at me
and I could see the flash of metal in his tongue. I wondered how that would feel against my heated
flesh?
I had heard rumors, but I had never been with anyone with a pierced tongue. It made me wonder what
other parts of him were pierced. His hand moved from my waist to stroke up my arm and I bit my lower
lip trying to fight back the moan of pleasure at his touch. Why did it feel so good?
Travis sat the drink down in front of me and I looked away from Ryan, down to the drink. It was a
cloudy pink and yellow liquid. I had no idea what it was. I looked back up at Travis, worrying the inside
of my cheek with my teeth. His arms were against the bar as he leaned over, watching me.
“What is it?” I asked, picking up the drink and sniffing it.
‘Try it.” He smirked at me, ‘I bet you’ll like it.”
Swallowing hard, I lifted the glass to my lips, taking a small sip. Letting the flavors swirl over my tongue.
It tasted like almonds and cherries. It was sweet yet tart, I took another sip before sitting the drink
down. “It’s really good. What is it?”
“It’s an amaretto sour.”
“Strange name. It’s not sour.” I said, picking the cherry out and popping it into my mouth. “I bet you’re
not sour either. I bet you’re sweet and tart, that you taste like cherries.”
My eyes widened and I felt my body clench up at his words. It felt like there was a tightly wound coil
inside of me that might spring apart at any minute. His hand moved to catch mine as Ryan’s fingers
trailed higher up my arm until he rested them on my shoulders. I moaned at the pleasure of it, feeling
my nipples tighten beneath the fabric of my short black dress. My cheeks reddened at the sound that
slipped from my lips and I pulled away from both men.
“11,1 need to go to the bathroom.” I stammered out, not looking at them as I picked up my
drink. Chapter Seven: Something Strange
“1, 1, I need to go to the bathroom.” I stammered out, not looking at them as I picked up my drink.
“This one’s not on the house.” Travis called out.
“Okay, I’ll-” I started pulling my purse around my body to dig out the cash to pay for my drink. Travis cut
me off and I looked up at him. He still had that hungry look in his eyes and his hands were flat on the
bar now, like he might jump over it and come after me. Which was silly. Humans didn’t chase other
humans like a wild animal. My eyes flicked to Ryan and he had that same look in his eyes, only there
was no bar separating us. All it would take was a few steps from him to reach me.
“It’s on me, sweets.” Travis smirked, sharp teeth flashing in the strobe light that flickered out of the
corner of the room. My heart started to race and I felt my throat tighten as a spike of fear worked its
way down my spine. I looked up into his eyes. They were filled with a promise of something dark and
dangerous that I still wanted. A promise of the pleasure that he could give me, that they could both give
me. I turned away from him, unable to take the intensity of his and Ryan’s stare.
“We’ll be here, waiting for you.” Ryan called out to my retreating form and I dipped my head down.
I all but ran to the bathroom, my heart pounding in my chest. I didn’t know what was going on, but I
needed a minute to think about what I wanted to do. Because right now, it was both of the men
standing at the bar waiting for me. Pushing open the swinging door to the bathroom, I walked inside.
The lights were brighter than on the dance floor and it was quieter, but I could still hear the steady
sounds of the music behind the walls.
I made my way over to the rows of sinks that lined the far wall, setting my drink down above the sink.
Resting my hands on the porcelain sink, I looked at myself, trying to see what Travis and Ryan saw.
Jake had always told me that I was beautiful, but I never really felt that I was. That is until I saw the way
that Travis and Ryan looked at me.
Something about the way that they looked at me made me feel that they saw something in me that I
was missing. Opening my bag, I pulled out my lip gloss. Swiping it over my lips as the door to the
bathroom swung open and Charity pulled in the lead singer of the band by his collar.
Her lips were pressed to his as he backed them up until her back hit the wall.
“Never thought I would find someone like you.” He muttered, kissing his way down the side of her neck.
Charity titled her head to the side, giving him better access to her neck.
“Right there, that’s-Tillie.” Charity yelped, pushing at the singer’s shoulders.
“I mean, I’m cool with a threesome. But, I thought that our mating.”
“No, I’m not talking about a threesome.” Charity giggled. “She’s right there, Aaron.”
He pulled away from her, tucking her hand into his. He tugged her over to me. They walked together
and I couldn’t help but notice the way that they couldn’t seem to stop touching each other. I tucked my
lip gloss back into my bag and picked it up off the steel shelf, slinging it back on my shoulder before I
picked up my drink.
“Tillie, this is Aaron.” Charity motioned to the man beside her. He wrapped his arm around her
shoulder, pressing a kiss to her temple. She brought her hand out to me. “And this is my best friend,
Tillie.”
“Hi, Aaron,” I said, looking at the tall singer. He was handsome and I could see why my best friend was
all over him,
even if that wasn’t normally how she was when she hooked up with a guy. Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
“Tillie, the pleasure is all mine.” He smiled at me, extending his hand out to shake mine.
I looked down at his hand, worried that if I touched him, I would feel those same sparks that I had felt
with Travis and Ryan. I didn’t want that feeling with him. I didn’t want to feel that way about the man
that my best friend was clearly interested in. I held my breath as I lifted my hand up to his.
Aaron took my fingers in his and I let out a breath. I didn’t feel those same sparks. “It’s nice to meet
you, Aaron.”
“You too, you okay?”
“Yeah,” I said, dropping his hand. “It’s nothing.”
“Til, you sure?” Charity asked, stepping closer to me. Her thin blonde eyebrows knit together and I
gave her a half
