because of youngsters like her.

Sophia and her assistant left.

Her assistant said in admiration, "Ms. Lawson, you could have asked them to repay your kindness

earlier, and they would definitely agree. Yet you didn't do so. I'm really impressed!"

"I helped them without expecting any repayment. If I took the chance to blackmail them, I would be no

different from the evil ones."

Her assistant nodded to echo her.

"By the way, how's it going with Sara?"

"She should be recovered and will return to work soon."

"OK. Watch her closely."

"Got it, Ms. Lawson."

While walking, her assistant asked worriedly, "Ms. Lawson, how about Jessica?"

"If she's not caught, she'll surely come to find me. I won't let her go easily as long as she comes to me."

Soon, Chloe and Helena learned that Sophia had kicked Jessica out of the Cannon Group.

Sophia wasn't surprised, though. As long as Rashad made a move, no one could find Jessica no

They could only wait for Jessica to show up herself.

Rashad didn't take any action after the punishment from the King of the Underworld.

When Sophia was idle, she asked curiously, "Drake, you think the King of the Underworld is a good guy

or a bad one?"

Drake looked at her in confusion. "What do you mean by asking so?"

"Look. He seems to have a crush on me. I thought he would have done the same thing as Rashad had.

However, he didn't. After Rashad made trouble, he helped me. Until now, he still hasn't appeared in my

presence."

"By the way, I once thought the King of the Underworld was Rashad, who used another identity to

approach me. However..."

the King of the Underworld be Rashad? Tell me, Sophia. What made you think so?"

Suddenly, he stared at Sophia and asked, "Sophia, will you forgive me if I do something unforgivable?"

"You've done something unforgivable. How am I supposed to forgive you?"

Sophia was enlightened, gazing at him. "Did you cheat on me and have a baby with another woman?"

Drake was tongue-tied and impressed by her imagination.

"I'm satisfied for having you in my life, Sophia. How could I have cheated on you?"

Sophia realized something. "I see. It seems I'm merely your partner in your mind."

Drake was rendered wordless again, wanting to slap his own face.

Sophia's words, however, made him lose the courage to tell her the truth.

Drake decided to play it by ear.

The shooting of Helena's movie was almost done. Sophia and Chloe went to see her at the movie set

on the day when the final scenes would be shot, but Travis didn't show up.

Seeing Helena looking for someone eagerly, Sophia chuckled, "Are you searching for Travis?"

Helena withdrew her gaze. "How could it be possible? I'm not."

Sophia and Chloe exchanged a glance. "Travis is too busy now. He sent us to pick you up. After you

put on makeup, we'll take you to him."

Helena pouted and retorted, "Why would I put on makeup? Why would I go to see him?"

Sophia and Chloe exchanged a smile. "Silly girl, though you pretend you don't care, we know what's on

your mind."

"Besides, you usually put on makeup when going out, don't you?"

While packing up, Helena answered, "Today is an exception. I won't."

Chloe winked at Sophia as if to ask, "What should we do?" Sophia seemed to make up her mind and

said, "OK. Up to you. I hope you won't regret it later."

Earlier, Helena didn't sense something wrong. However, after hearing Sophia's words, she suddenly

felt her two best friends were hiding something.

So was Travis.

Alfred had been watching them for a long time. Final scenes were shot today, so they wouldn't meet

each other frequently in the future. Although he had never confessed his love to Helena, he wanted to

invite her for dinner.

Therefore, he approached Helena and asked, "Excuse me, Helena. Do you have a plan later today?"

"Yes, she does," Sophia and Chloe answered instead of Helena.

Helena thought they were too weird. Looking at Alfred, she said, "I don't have any plans later. Why?"

Sophia immediately tugged her arm. "Alfred, she does have an important appointment later. We have

to go now. Bye."

Without giving Helena any chance to speak, Sophia pulled her away.

Sitting in the car, Helena looked at the two women in confusion. "What have you two hidden from me?"

"What can we hide from you? You'll know after arriving."

Helena knew Sophia could always keep a secret well, so she looked at Chloe instead, as Chloe liked to

share news more.

Chloe immediately buttoned her lip and glanced secretly at Sophia.

Coincidentally, she met Sophia's warning gaze.

Chloe decided to keep silent all the way.

The car pulled up to a restaurant soon. Helena was puzzled, wondering why her best friends had taken

her there.

In the elevator, Sophia asked again, "Are you sure you won't put on makeup?"

"Well, I don't mind putting on makeup." Helena was curious to find out what they wanted to do.

Sophia and Chloe took her to a lounge, where a hairdresser and a stylist were waiting.
