Revenge Against My Ex-husband

Chapter 226 Beating Her at Her Own Game (2)

Chapter 226 Beating Her at Her Own Game (2)

Edric did not sympathize with Rowane. He had been good to Rowane but Rowane had repaid him by

working with Marie and harming him. If it weren't for them using the fake sperm to trick him in the past,

Lily would be pregnant with his own child now. By then, there would be no chance of him and Irene

getting back together. Death was simply too easy for Rowane, in Edric's eyes.

Edric was now worried about Marie. Since she was so vicious, she must have done something else

that no one knew. Moreover, with her vicious nature, if she could not achieve her goal, she would kill

others. Would Malcom, Jordan's father, who was with her day and night, be in danger?

Edric thought for a moment and then asked Jordan to persuade Malcom to leave Marie. The reason he

wanted Malcom to leave was so because he was planning something and with Malcom in the way, it

would be hard for Edric to execute his plans.

After hearing Edric's words, Jordan was also very surprised. So, he went to find Malcom and told

Malcom what bad deeds Marie had done.

Malcom gritted his teeth, and tried to suppress his anger. Back then, he and Marie lived together not

because of their relationship, but because Marie was Myra's only younger sister. .

Now hearing that Myra had been killed by Marie and Deborah, Malcom was full of rage, wanting to

strangle Marie.

Jordan stopped him, "Edric has already found a way to deal with her. What you have to do now is to

leave her immediately. Marie has been eyeing you. Staying with you for all these years was all part of Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

her plan. She lives a nice life being around you. You can't let her continue to live so happily, can you?"

"I haven't had any relationship with her during these past few years. If I leave, will I even be of any

threat to her at all?" Malcom did not understand.

"You don't understand the situation. Marie's heart is extremely twisted. Although your heart has not

been with her for all these years, it is a different situation for her. She thinks that being with you every

morning and every night is the biggest revenge she can take on Myra. So, you can't let her live with

satisfaction!"

Jordan explained, "You not only have to leave her, but also must act affectionate with my mother.

Marie, this b*tch, had killed Myra because you had loved her. Now if she sees you change your mind

and get along well with my mother, she'll be driven up the wall."

Malcom finally understood what his son was trying to say, "Okay, I'll leave right away!"

"No, don't leave now. Leave only when my mother comes to pick you up. You must make that b*tch so

angry that she can't even sleep!"

Jordan kept his word. He immediately called his mother, Lydia Klein, to pick Malcom up. Lydia had long

broken her ties with Malcom and she refused to go after receiving her son's call.

Jordan told his mother about Marie's viciousness, and his suspicions about the case. After Myra's

death due to the accident, all the blame had been thrown onto Lydia, and it was said that Lydia had

hated Myra so much that she had led Myra to her death.

As the relationship between Malcom and Lydia had become irreconcilable, Jordan began to suspect

that the rumor about Myra meeting with Lydia and how that had led to Myra's death had been spread

by Marie, and her goal had been to drive a wedge between his father and mother.

Listening to her son's words, Lydia fell silent and agreed with him. She could not let Marie live

comfortably, therefore, she left for San Fetillo.

Lydia and Jordan soon arrived at Malcom and Marie's house. She knocked on the door and Marie

opened it. Seeing Lydia looking youthful and healthy, Marie felt distaste in her heart.

She sneered in her heart and thought to herself, "What can Lydia do even even if she comes to find

him? Myra's death has been engraved deeply in Malcom's heart, and he'll never forgive Lydia for the

rest of his life."

After politely greeting Lydia, Marie led her into the house. She went into Malcom's room and called out

for him. When Malcom opened his door and saw Lydia there, he did not react as Marie had expected,

which was to give her the cold shoulder. Instead, he looked on the brink of losing control of his

emotions.

"W-why are you here?"

"You haven't come home because you've been holding a grudge all these years. It's time for you to go

home. I'll take you home!" Lydia answered.

The next scene made Marie feel as if her heart would break into millions of pieces. Malcom actually

extended his hand towards Lydia, and their hands met. Seeing the two of them looking at each other

with deep affection while holding hands, Marie felt like she was about to explode.

Didn't Malcom not like Lydia anymore? What was going on?

"Lydia, you've suffered for all these years! I've let you down!" Malcom's words were filled with affection.

Marie almost screamed. It should not turn out like this! How could it be?

Jordan, who was standing aside, looked at Marie coldly, "My father and mother haven't seen each

other for many years and they have a lot to say to each other. Why are you still here? Don't you think

it's appropriate?"

Obviously, he wanted her gone. Marie was so angry that she said, "Why should I leave? This is my

house."

"Dr. Walker, you must be mistaken!" Jordan sneered, "My father bought this house with his own money.

It has nothing to do with you, does it?"

"I..." Marie's face flushed red. The house was indeed Malcom's, and she had no right to it. With a

pleading look, she turned her gaze towards Malcom. However, he did not even spare her a glance from

the corner of his eyes. He continued to talk to Lydia as they walked to the carving room.

"Do you want me to throw you out? Or will you see yourself out?" Jordan asked her coldly.

Marie was driven out by Jordan with a downcast look. When she went downstairs, she was greeted by

the Reed family's driver. The man spat on the ground upon seeing her, "Shameless b*tch! There are

plenty of men for you to seduce out there, so why are you bothering the Mr. Reed?"

Marie was about to argue with the driver, but when she saw someone coming, she suppressed her

anger. She had lived at the house for so many years and people thought she and Malcom were

legitimate husband and wife. If she made a scene now, she would lose face.

Marie suppressed her hatred and went outside to find a hotel to stay in. The whole night, her heart felt

uneasy. Wasn't Malcom disgusted with Lydia? What was the reason behind his sudden change of

attitude towards her?

She had seen Malcom and Lydia's loving look at each other before she had left. They were most likely

to do the deed at night. She recalled the fact that she had not even touched Malcom's hand during all

these years, and she became upset. She did not get even an inkling of sleep that night.

When dawn came, she hurried back to the house where she and Malcom lived. To her dismay, she saw

someone moving things out from the house. At first glance, this person looked arrogant. When he saw

Marie, he asked, "Who are you?"

"I'm the owner of this house," Marie replied.

"You're the owner? So, you're that shameless b*tch?" The man scolded her furiously, "Isn't this Mr.

Reed's house? Since when do you, a filthy woman, have the rights to it?"

"Why are you swearing at me?"

"Oh, swearing at you is considered nothing already! You b*tch, you're already so old, but you still dare

to commit such heinous acts like a sl*t?" the man raised his voice upon seeing there were people

around him.

A crowd began to gather around Marie and the man. The man started bringing up how Marie had

shamelessly seduced a married man. Marie was a famous doctor, so the crowd began to make a fuss.

Marie was usually eloquent, but she was now at a loss of words upon meeting her rival. She could not

even get a word in, before the man started blabbering on. The man excitedly told the crowd about how

she had used shameless tactics to seduce someone else's husband.

He also asked someone to throw Marie's things out. Marie was furious to the point of fainting, but she

had to leave the place as the crowd was growing larger. She tried to call Malcom but the call told her

that he had turned his phone off.

Marie continued to call Malcom. More than ten hours later, she finally got through. Malcom coldly asked

her what she wanted from him.

Marie was shocked by Malcom's tone. She patiently explained the matter of her being kicked out of the

house but Malcom interrupted her before she could finish her words, "I own that house. Is it wrong for

me to take back my own house now?"

Malcom's words caused Marie to be taken aback. After a while, she opened her mouth and said, "You

should at least inform me in advance? How could you just throw away all of my things without telling

me..."

"Inform you? What is there to inform? I took you in because I pitied you and wanted to annoy my wife

who I had a fight with! Don't tell me you didn't know that even after all these years?" Malcom retorted.

"What did you say? You took me in to annoy your wife? Didn't you love my sister? Didn't you come to

the San Fetillo for her?" Marie shouted, unable to control herself anymore.

"I used to really love your sister, but after she got married, I have stopped having those intentions. You

have also seen my wife. She is so gentle, virtuous, noble and elegant. No man would dislike such a

woman. Back then, I had moved out because I held a grudge against her. Now that my wife has come

to apologize to me sincerely, there's no need for me to hold any grudges against her anymore.

Naturally, I'll head home with my wife," Malcom spoke slowly and sharply. Marie hated him to the

extreme.

"You ungrateful thing, how can you treat my sister like this!" she screamed. She made it sound as if she

was fighting for Myra, but really, it was all for herself.

"Marie, you're being way too fake, aren't you? Stop trying to act like you're fighting for Myra's justice!

You should ask yourself if you're really doing that. I'm telling you, I know your intentions. With your look

and personality, you don't even deserve to serve my wife!"

"You! Malcom Reed, how could you say that to me?"

"Am I wrong? Marie, let me warn you, don't go too far. I owe you nothing. Even if I had used you to

make my wife angry, isn't it enough for me to let you live in my house for so many years without paying

rent?"

Malcom had always acted otherworldly. He had never mentioned money in front of Marie, which was

why she felt that it was weird when he mentioned about rent. She thought that she had heard him

wrong.

"My wife and I are now back together. I hope that in the future, you won't ever call and harass me ever

again. Although we have never had any relations before, I don't want to make my wife feel

uncomfortable." After saying those words, Malcom hung up.

Marie was going crazy. Malcom's words were too hurtful. Had she hated the wrong person all these

years? However, when she thought about it, she felt that something was wrong. If Malcom did not have

feelings for Myra, then why would he have a carving of Myra?

What was the reason behind his sudden change? Marie racked her brains for an answer, but failed to

think of anything. She had to spend the night at another hotel since she had nowhere to return to but

staying at hotels would not be ideal. She had to buy herself a new house and she had to do it fast. She

had saved up a considerable amount of money during all her years spent living with Malcom. Buying a

house would be no trouble to her at all.

However, when she was reminded of the fact that Malcom had left her behind and returned to Lydia's

side, she became frustrated. She had spent half of her lifetime with Malcom! She would not give up on

him without a fight. She had to get him back.
