Rekindling Her Affection (Sabrina and Nelson)

Chapter 72

Sabrina and Nelson were inside a strange and pitch-dark alley.

She had liked and loved him since she was young, the one she had insisted on marrying.

She even dreamed of traveling together, holding hands, and kissing in new places.

The minute he showed a hint of compassion, Sabrina would quickly lose herself in romantic ideas, which made her feel pathetic.

The issues between them had never been resolved.

She indulged in his kiss even if she detested him for being nasty.

In the end, Sabrina pulled away.

In the darkness, the man's fingers pinched her chin.

"There's nothing between Pamela and me, and there won't be any more rumors in the future."

Nelson had explained himself before she even asked.

Sabrina leaned against the wall. She gazed at the brilliant and beautiful stars in the sky.

Nelson's body was still pressed against her.

"Are you crazy?"

In the distance, tourists' voices could be heard as they returned to the inn.

"What are you afraid of? This is legal. It's not like we're messing around on the street."

Nelson was feeling very much in the moment.

As he glanced down, he saw that she was dressed in his clothing, making her seem even more petite.

The unspoken intimacy pleased him greatly.

"I need to go back," Sabrina said.

Nelson leaned in and took her phone from her pocket.

"What's the password?"

"What are you doing?"

She tried to snatch her phone back.

He thought for a moment and entered his birthday. To his surprise, it worked.

For a moment, Sabrina was embarrassed. It was as though her deepest secrets had been exposed. Although she wished for a divorce from him on a rational level, she still had some emotional attachment to him.

Otherwise, she would've changed her password.

"You still love me," Nelson stated.

"You wish."

Sabrina grew angry and tried to push him away.

He chuckled lowly, seemingly in a good mood.

Then, he used her phone to send Abigail a message, telling her to go to bed early.

In the afternoon, Nelson had mentioned that the snowy hot spring suite at the inn was lovely, with a large terrace offering a fantastic view of the snow-capped mountains and the starry sky.

Sabrina was too engulfed in his kiss at that time to understand his implication.

When they entered the room, she finally understood why he had only kissed her in the afternoon.

It seemed that he had saved the main event for later.

It wasn't until the middle of the night that Sabrina returned to bed, exhausted.

Nelson was remarkably patient.

She was sleepy and tired. Several calls came in while they were on the terrace, all of which he had declined.

She returned Abigail's call.

"Are you okay?" Abigail asked with concern.

"Yes," Sabrina answered, her voice hoarse.

Upon hearing this, Abigail sighed. She couldn't say much as Sabrina and Nelson were still legally married.

"Did Frederick give you a hard time?"

"No," Abigail answered.

"You should get some rest. We'll talk more tomorrow."

With that, Sabrina hung up the phone. Nelson exited the bathroom, lifted the quilt, and naturally held her in his arms.

She felt uneasy and didn't know how to approach him, so she closed her eyes.

When Nelson saw that she had buried herself in his arms, he didn't expose her and let her be.

Sabrina wasn't used to him pressed up close against her. But she was too tired and soon fell asleep.

At one o'clock in the morning, Nelson's phone buzzed. He reached for it and saw it was a call from Dylan. He went to the terrace to answer the call. Content rights belong to NôvelDrama.Org.

"What is it?"

"Pamela was the one who drugged Mrs. Tucker."
