Chapter 27 Kathy Killed Herself
Chapter 27 Kathy Killed Herself
The man held his arms lazily, and stretched out his fingers, against her forehead, with a smile in his
face, .
“Call me Mark.”
He lowered his voice, and the sound line inexplicably gave a few charms..
Beth stood still like a wood, stammering ,“Did... you save me?”
Mark Cook...It turned out that it was thanks to Mark Cook that she could be sent to Jessica just now.
Maybe her intimate appellation pleased him.
Mark smiled “Otherwise? Who do you think it is?”
Mark Cook looked elegant, handsome, and as gentle as the spring breeze.
When he laughed, his eyes seemed to be filled with stars.
“Mark, thank you for saving me,” she said sincerely.
After that, she also bent over and bowed deeply to Mark.
Mark shook his head, and the smile in his lips faded a little.
“That’s just nothing. Don’t mention it.”
He then glanced at somewhere behind her, saying, “But, maybe you're going to suffer.”
Beth did not understand what he was talking about, but she heard the footsteps approaching from
behind.
A strong force pulled on her arm, and she nearly couldn’t keep herself stable..
She turned and saw a man with a slender figure standing there.
Aaron looked very gloomy and sulky, just like a fierce storm coming near for Beth.
He looked as if the husband had caught his wife cheating.
Beth was surprised, “Aaron Williams, what do you want to do?”
“What do I want to do? What do you want to do? I don't think you take my words seriously!” Aaron was
even more angry.
He asked someone to look for her, only to find out she hadn't gone out.
He looked for a few laps here, and actually saw her and Mark Cook chattering. How joyful and pleasant
she looked !
‘The two of them stood together and spoke in such a harmonious atmosphere. What an uncomfortable
scene for him!’
“I don't know what you're talking about!” Beth wanted to shake his hand off, but his strength was too
strong. She couldn't.
However, what she intended to do provoked Aaron’s anger, “How dare you come here to seduce men?
You are just so hungry?”
“You are so eager to be the same type of person as your good friend so much? You want to come here
and find a man? OK, I will satisfy you.” He pinched her chin in coldness and anger and looked at her
sharply and dangerously.
“Pa!”
Aaron seemed to touch Beth’s nerve, with great anger, and subsequently she slapped on Aaron's
handsome face.
There was a moment of silence in the air, and Aaron frozed.
She slapped him? How dare she?
She shuddered violently with anger, “You shut up! Don’t you know how Jessica became what she was.
Don't you know? I won't allow anyone to humiliate her. She's chaster than any of you. You can't
compare with her at all!”
She was afraid that she slapped Aaron, but she was more afraid that she didn’t and couldn’t protect
Jessica. From NôvelDrama.Org.
‘Jessica Evans was the most dazzling pearl of City L. Even if she fell in trouble for the time being, she
would glow one day!
Aaron looked at her with irony.
“She's chaste? Well, you and she are bosom friends. You both are dirty! If she is pure ang chaste, she
wouldn’t make pregnant Mia jump into the sea? You're just as disgusting as her.”
They both were disgusting?
Beth suddenly smiled, “No, we are not disgusting. We are just blind.”
She had no choice and was set up.
But Jesscia Evans was different. She was a cherished daughter of a noble family, the Evans, one of the
four biggest families in City L. She could marry everyone only if she wanted!
‘How would she have to chase after Rawson Thomas and face his coldness?’
Undoubtedly, they were both blind.
“You let go of me.” She did not want to be so humiliated in front of Aaron, because at least Mark Cook
was the first one in his family to be kind to her.
At least…
Mark’s voice was so much like her boy in her childhood.
Aaron did not let her go. “Who do you want to seduce again?”
“It;s none of your business.” She exasperated.
Aaron chilled her a glance and pinched her wrist very hard.
“You can't go anywhere without my permission,” he said.
Beth really thought what he said was ridiculous.
And Aaron turned his eyes to Mark.
“Mark, it’s not easy for you to go back to my family. You'd better be careful about what you say and do.
Get away from the people you shouldn't touch.” Aaron's voice was cool and cold, and the contours of
his face under incandescent lights appeared more callous and eye-catching. “In case that some day,
you'll be driven out of the family.”
Mark still stood there, even wihout changing his facial expression, but for no reason, Beth was feeling
that some kind of cruelness exuded around him, which even couldn’t be suppressed by himself.
Mark ticked his pale pink lips, but he was not laughing.
“I didn’t find that before. You are so good at joking, Aaron.”
Mark bypassed that topic as if nothing had happened, and meanwhile satirized Aaron.
Aaron sneered, no longer noticed him, but plucked Beth to follow after him and intended to left.
Beth followed Aaron and hurriedly turned back, looking at Mark. She smiled sincerely at him, with her
lips opened silently.
“Thank you.”
No matter whether Mark was the unwelcome illegitimate son of the family or not, and no matter what
Mark was like, it was Mark who helped her.
He was not the same type of person as other members in the Williams family, after all.
Mark’ amorous eyes slightly bent, seemingly responding to her with a smile.
Beth's wrist was torn by him, and she struggled to resist, but she was stuffed into the car.
“I'm going back.” She lost her necklace, and she was going back to find out her stuff.
Otherwise, she would lose her only memory.
Aaron said coldly “Don’t you want to see your younger brother?”
Beth's body suddenly froze.
She flushed her eyes and softened her voice. “You put me down first, I'll come down right away. I lost
something upstairs, I'm going to find it!”
“That's something important to me, please!”
She lowered her posture, tears swirling in her eyes, and still tried her best to hold them back.
Her such look, fiercely stimulated Aaron's heart.
“What is it?” he asked, subconsciously. Beth shifted her eyes..
Of course she couldn't say it was his picture, after all that was like a nurd. She didn’t want to love him
anymore.
She just wanted to keep the evidence for their acquaintance so many years ago. She said, “It's my
foster mother...” Before the words were finished, the conversation was interrupted by a ringing phone.
Aaron answered the phone and his voice became very gentle. “Kathy.” Over there came Henry
Johnson's cry of grief, “Aaron, you come to the hospital immediately! Kathy killed herself!”
Beth, sitting in the passenger seat, also heard this news, and gave it a pause.
Kathy Johnson killed herself?
