” You changed alot Axl, I still feel it’s a dream”Cathy confessed.

” You don’t need to Cathy, let’s work on our relationship and try to live peacefully with one another ” Axl confirmed.

They were lieing naked on their bed with Cathy resting her head on his chest allowing him stroke her hair .

They had just made love and were cuddling each other, enjoying each other’s warm embrace.

“I need to leave for somewhere dear” Cathy said immediately as she stood up using the duvet to cover up herself.

” Where are you going to? Don’t tell your going to the office babe” Axl said in shock.

“No am not, dad wants me to see him” she called from the bathroom.

As soon as he heard her reply he rushed to the bathroom door so frightened as he asked ,

“Did he mention why he wanted to see you?”.

“No, but I guess he wanted to talk about why you came ” she called out.

“He didn’t say anything?” He asked again as he started sweating profusely.

“Yes babe, but he sounded like he wanted to reconcile us” she answered.

“Will… You go there?” He stammered.

“Is that a question, you know I can’t disobey dad” she answered opening the door to meet the scared look of Axl .

She was taken aback but quickly composed herself as she asked,

“Why are you scared Axl, do you know why dad called me?”

“No… not at all” he stammered as he tried to leave but was held back by Cathy.

” We just formed a new chapter, will you start it by lieing?” She asked.

“No dear, I was just thinking because I actually reported you to dad, I don’t want him to scold you or try to do anything because we have already settled ” he lied.

“That’s no problem Axl, I could just tell him that when I get there” she answered.

” Then I will come with you” he said.

“Why would you want to? It’s not necessary at all” she protested.

“I will feel bad if he scolds you for my mistakes and I want to get there to tell him we have finally set things right plus we could go on a dinner date after that” he answered with a smile.

“Get away , your just looking for ways to be with me ” she said as she pushed him lightly.

They laughed heartily before she proceeded to dress up .

“Get dressed fast and meet me downstairs” he said as he pecked her on her right cheek.

She nodded as she continued her makeup.

She thought hard at what happened earlier today, who would have thought Axl would ever change to be romantic?

It was just too sudden, she thought.

Was it possible that a man could change after sleeping?

She thought hard at the possibility of Axl’s change being affected by his Friend’s words.

She sighed hard so confused, first it was Dementrio who was nice and then all of a sudden Axl was also becoming nice.

Something must be wrong, she thought.

Her mind wandered to why Axl could have changed, was it to get the wealth?

Whatever the plan was , she knew she could not trust Axl at all.

All she needed now was just to get the information about her sister but she would also play whatever game Axl was playing.

She smiled as she prayed silently.

” How I wished my sister was here, she was the only person she could trust as everyone seem to be lieing to her” She thought.

She put on a short black handless gown as she admired herself, she wasn’t as beautiful as she wanted but who cares about beauty when she had money.

Money was the most important, she thought.

She admired herself again before leaving the room.

Her eyes sighted Axl downstairs, he had a big smile on his face as he kept staring at her while she cat walked down the staircase gradually watching her steps like a model .

“I guess your expression says It all, I look great right?” She asked with blossoming smiles.

She blushed hardly as Axl brought her closer to embrace him.

” We have to go, dad would be waiting for us” she said as she freed herself.

” Alright, but promise me you won’t resist me when we get home ” he said.

” Till then my dear husband ” she replied as she walked swaying her hips to get his attention.

He watched her with smiles as he followed her slowly, watching every of her movement.

“What car are we taking ?” She asked.

“Anyone your royal highness” he answered with a bow.

“Let’s take the red Lamborghini” she answered with a smile.

“Your wish is my command , your majesty” he said with a wink.

He guided her to the car as he opened the door for her, she smiled and entered still thinking if everything was an actual reality or just an act.

“Wait let me put your seat beat on” Axl said as he entered the car, she allowed him while she watched him carefully.

Whether an act or reality, she was actually hoping it lasted long.

“Thanks” she whispered as she pecked him.

“Am not accepting that” Axl said as he frowned his face.

“You pecked me on the cheek , I need it here” he said touching his lips.

She smiled as she brought her face closer to his lips, she kissed him and freed herself before he could even kiss her back.

” Your something else Cathy” he said .

“Drive Axl, dad would be waiting for us” she responded with a smile.

He drove leaving a trail of dust behind .
