Chapter 251
Chapter 251
The simple act of comfort ignited all the pent-up desire within Ian. He clasped Clara's head in his grasp, his voice thick with unspeakable longing. "Clara, it's not enough."
Then, his lips found hers. The kiss was tender and lingering, yet cautious. His long-fingered hands gently caressed her waist, the scorching heat of his fingertips tracing a path up her spine.
Clara melted under his kiss, feeling the weight of Ian's next move. Her breath came in short gasps as she called out, "Ian."
Her voice, laced with a breathy moan, only fueled Ian's desire, like gasoline on a fire. The lust in his eyes was now too intense to hide. He kissed Clara's lips over and over, his voice laced with an irresistible charm. "Clara, just one kiss, alright?"
Before he could finish, his burning lips slid down her neck, finding the nipple there. After so long without such stimulation, Clara couldn't help but vocalize her pleasure. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
That familiar sensation swiftly overtook every nerve in her body. She admitted to herself that she couldn't resist Ian's teasing. Within a few moves, she was sinking with him into sweet abandon.
Time passed, and Clara lay next to Ian, breathless, a rosy hue at the corners of her eyes. Ian's distinct, clear fingers traced her face with a suggestive, alluring motion.
"Clara, did you enjoy that?" he asked in a deep, playful tone that made Clara's cheeks flush scarlet.
"Shut up!" she exclaimed.
Ian chuckled softly, whispering in her ear, "Clara, I want you so much."
At those words, Clara's face turned a deeper shade of red. Annoyed, she nipped at Ian's chin, warning, "Ian, I'll ignore you for good if you keep like this."
Ian wrapped his arms around her tightly, his face radiating sweetness. "Alright, I'll stop talking. Getting my girl upset here cuz I’m all words and no action."
Clara was infuriated, feeling like giving Ian an inch would lead him to take a mile. She decided to give him the cold shoulder, so she nestled into Ian's embrace in silence.
Less than five minutes later, Ian heard a steady breathing by his ear. Clara had fallen asleep.
Looking at her slightly weary sleeping face, Ian kissed her lips tenderly and held her close as he slowly drifted off.
The next morning, Clara's phone rang. It was Casey. Ian immediately took the phone into the lounge area. "Casey, Clara's still sleeping."
Hearing his voice, Casey's eyes welled up. "Ian, you're awake?"
"Yeah, I'm up. Don't worry, Casey."
Casey hesitated before voicing her concern. "Ian, about Clara's past..."
"I know, and I'm looking into it. Has Victoria mentioned anything to you?"
The mention of the past plunged Casey into sorrow, tears brimming in her eyes. "When she had the baby, I was away on business. Only the nanny was with her. But she wasn't content staying put. She went out gambling. When she came back, she found the nanny had taken the baby. Scared of my reaction, she went out searching. By chance, she saw a woman throwing a baby into the river. After that woman left, Victoria rescued the baby. That baby was Clara."
Ian's eyes darkened. Just as he suspected, Victoria knew some truth.
"Did Victoria mention who that woman was? Or any distinguishing features?" he asked immediately.
After a few seconds of hesitation, Casey replied, "This person might be related to your mother, Leonora."
