Chapter 401
Chapter 401 Get Rid of the Two Annoying Men
When Janet dragged her tired body back home, it was already nearly 12 o’clock. As soon as she came
back, she saw Marvin and Donahue guarding the door.
Marvin walked over, held Janet’s arm, and let her turn around. “Are you hurt?”
“I’m fine.”
Janet poured herself a glass of water and signaled Marvin to relax.
“What about Donahueiel? How is he?”
Marvin hoped that Janet was late and Donahueiel was beaten hard.
“He was slightly injured, but it’s not a big problem. He just needs to stay in the hospital for a couple of d
ays. The doctors will observe his condition.”
Marvin gave a slightly dissatisfied “tsk“.
“What did Donahueiel say since you went to save him?
Marvin secretly imagined the scene of Donahueiel kneeling to Janet and calling her name gratefully.
That was a little disgusting.
“Is what he said important?” Janet had a headache.
“But I have to negotiate with him because of the trouble you made”
Hearing this, Marvin was shocked.
“What conditions did you agree with him? Did he take the opportunity to make things difficult for you?”
Donahueiel was a cunning guy. If he took the opportunity to make some unreasonable requests, Marvin
thought that all his efforts were in vain then.
Instead of hurting Donahueiel, what Marvin did give Donahueiel a chance to hurt Jill!
Marvin automatically forgot about the slight injury Janet mentioned.
Janet recalled what Donahueiel looked like back then. He was struggling with
the after–effects of the concussion. It seemed that he was about to vomit.
Janet found it hard to tell who was scheming against whom.
“It’s not an unacceptable condition. He wants to participate in the racing club project that Nigel and I ar
e in.”
Donahue was looking at the newspaper but he was already analyzing
Donahueiel’s motives.
“The Webster Group is under a crisis, but it’s not as serious as others
guessed.”
“Yes, the media made it serious. In fact, most people are still observing. The real losses the Webster Gr
oup suffered are the several orders.
Marvin nodded in agreement, “Besides, the Webster Group didn’t break the contract. Its partners did.”
“Except for the initial investment, there is almost no loss. The Webster Group could even receive a con
siderable amount of liquidated damages.”
Donahue closed the newspaper, staring deeply at Janet with his cold black
eyes. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
“Even if the Webster Group has to pay the liquidated damages, that amount of money is nothing to it. D
onahueiel is rich enough.”
Donahue reminded Janet, “So, you don’t need to feel too much guilt and uneasiness. You have to think
clearly whether you want to agree with this
condition.”
Marvin folded his slender fingers on his knees, and there was faint suspicion
between his brows.
“Donahue is right. This request seems simple, but I’m afraid that
Donahueiel’s real purpose is not the project. He wants to take the chance to get close to you.”
“Is that so?”
Janet twitched the corner of her mouth lightly, a cool smile fluttered in her indifferent pupils.
“It would be great if he put forward this condition for the purpose of pursuing me again.”
Marvin could hardly believe what he had heard, “Great? Jill, what do you
mean?”
“Nothing.”
Janet yawned lazily, waved her hand, and went upstairs to rest. She also sent a
text message to Marco.
“Make an appointment with Nigel. Let’s go have a look at the venue together
tomorrow.”
Marvin stared at the sky speechlessly. As a top trader, he always felt that he wasn’t smart enough when
being with Jill.
“Good night.”
Janet’s bedroom door opened and closed. Only her voice of saying “good
night” was left.
“Has Jill left?”
After a moment of silence, Beacher’s tentative voice came from the computer
speaker.
“She went upstairs to rest,” Marvin replied.
Beacher breathed a sigh of relief.
Beacher was worried when he found out that Janet took people to rescue Donahueiel. He was worried t
hat something wrong would happen, so he didn’t dare to hang up.
As the mastermind of today’s incident, Beacher didn’t dare to make a sound at all since he might be sc
olded hard by Janet.
“What does Jill mean just now? Why am I so confused? Donahueiel
made such an excessive request. Why is it great?”
Beacher gritted his teeth. He regretted that he underestimated Donahueiel and didn’t send more people
over to teach Donahueiel a lesson. Instead, Donahueiel got a chance to make Jill softhearted, so that t
o make requests.

she wants to give Donahueiel a chance, why not just stay in the ward to take care of him tonight?”
“Since she’s back, it means that Jill didn’t want to repeat her old mistakes. again. But why did she say t
hat just now?
“Okay, okay, take a break.” Beacher felt more confused when hearing the analysis.
“Donahue, you have seen a lot. Tell me, what did Jill mean just now?
Donahue closed the newspaper in his hand without expression. He looked at his younger brothers
as if they were idiots.
“Jill wants to kill two birds with one stone. She wants to solve the problem once and for all.”
Donahue’s words made Marvin instantly understand everything.
“Jill is really smart.”
Marvin raised the corner of his mouth, “She’s our cunning little sister.”
“What do you
mean? What two birds? What did you get? Can you two speak human language? You sounded so myst
erious.”
Beacher was anxious and puzzled.
Marvin couldn’t help mocking Beacher, “You are indeed strong but lack brains.”
“Let me ask you, what would you do if there were other suitors around your
beloved woman?”

Beacher’s eyelids twitched. He immediately threw an uppercut into the air.
“Whoever dares to fight for a girl with me is doomed. Being merciful to
enemies is being cruel to oneself. I will let that guy regret that he’s alive.”
Marvin
shook his head. He couldn’t help but sign, “Men are indeed creatures with too much desire to win, so th
at they always fall into traps.”
“But most of the time, you will get nothing. You clean the messes for the girl, but you are also out.”
Beacher frowned and scratched his hair. His eyes suddenly lit up. He jumped up excitedly.
“So you mean that Jill didn’t mean to accept Donahueiel!”
“She wants to use this project to make Donahueiel and Nigel fight with each other, so that she can get r
id of the annoying men without any effort.”
Beacher was enlightened, “My God, Jill really knows men well.”
If both Donahueiel and Nigel regarded each other as the number one competitor, they would spend thei
r time fighting with each other. In this case, they wouldn’t have time to pester Jill.
