Chapter 300 Sworn Enemles

Crystal–clear

tears fell on the photo and slid down the glass. Janet looked down and wiped her tears with her fingerti

ps. Then, she put the photo back solemnly.

Donahue repeatedly told her to wait and promised he would help her with the revenge….

But she couldn’t wait any longer.

If she took advantage of the matter of Conrad stealing the family property, she might be able to get som

e surprising

results.

Janet quietly wiped away her tears and removed all the white cloth. Then she carefully cleaned the roo

m.

After doing

all this, she went to the cloakroom. There was a dark room where there was her father’s memorial plaq

ue.

Janet wiped away the dust on the memorial plaque and put some flowers beside it. She quietly stared a

t her father’s

gentle and calm face in the photo.

Although she could visit his father in the cemetery, she insisted on getting a memorial plaque for him.

Whenever she missed her father, she could visit him here.

Knock, knock.

“Ms. Longfellow, I have something important to tell you!”

After she kissed her father’s memorial plaque, she heard a hurried knocking on the door.

Janet frowned, grabbed the rag, and walked out. “Come in.”

She got so many people to meet right after she came back.

She had just taken care of the annoying Doherty family, and there were instantly new troubles.

The door was pushed open and a young and pretty girl in a business suit walked in quickly.

The anger in her eyes was thick. The moment she saw Janet, she forced a smile. “Ms. Longfellow!”

Janet looked up at her. “What brings you here?”

The person who came was the special assistant she had in her company, Peaceral Jewelry, Violet Fras

er.

Violet joined Peaceral Jewelry right after she graduated. At first, she was Janet’s secretary. Later, she

was promoted to special assistant because of her outstanding ability.

Janet’s identity as the president of Peaceral Jewelry had never been made public. Violet had contribute

d a lot to it. The two could easily understand each other and were close personally.

She frowned when she saw Violet’s suit. “Did you come here straight from work?”

“Don’t worry, Ms. Longfellow. I was very cautious on the way here. No one was following me,” she hurri

edly explained. “Ms. Longfellow, I came to tell you that the Webster Group is secretly screwing with us!”

Janet was wiping the enamel vase that her father loved the most when he was alive. Her hand paused

for a moment, but then she continued to wipe with an expressionless face. “Go on.”

Her calmness gave Violet reassurance. It seemed that no matter how difficult a problem was, Janet cou

ld always make

it seem easy.

She was so reliable that Violet was so much less uneasy and she spoke with much more clarity. “First o

ff, something was up with Ivy. According to the schedule, she was supposed to shoot a jewelry promoti

on video today, but she never showed up. The client was angry. I tried to contact Ivy, but I could not get

through to her at all.”

Thinking of the burning anxiety she had at that time, Violet couldn’t help but raise her

tone and say angrily, “I went. to her agent, Ainsley Fleming, but Ainsley was evasive about it! I figured t

hat something must have happened. I sent someone to investigate and found out that Ainsley had been

in close contact with Webster Group recently. She was planning to end the contract with us!

The more she spoke, the angrier she became. “The Webster Group has sent us the contract

and tried to buy our company. Aren’t they trying to poach from us and pull the carpet from under our fee Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

t?

“In fact, this is not important. At least, we could just replace her

and compensate her with a sum of money. But she is the chief model you personally appointed for the

Jewelry Exhibition on Valentine’s Day and will wear the

couple’s jewelry that you have personally made. If she is leaving now, I am afraid that we will not be abl

e to find a suitable person on such short notice.”

Ivy Durham was Peaceral Jewelry’s favorite model. Back then, it was

Janet who made the decision to hire her. She was both professional and popular. If Violet hadn’t told he

r these things, Janet would suspect that someone was trying to

sow discord between them and Ivy.

Janet’s expression had completely turned cold. People always wanted better things. No

matter how good Peaceral Jewelry was, it was secretly owned by Janet and was not a part of the Longf

ellow Group. It was understandable that Ivy wanted to join a bigger company like the Webster Group. B

ut she shouldn’t have used Peaceral Jewelry as a

springboard…

Janet sneered. Anger surged up in her chest.

Nathaniel was getting worse and worse.

It seemed that she had underestimated Nathaniel. Apart from being shameless with women, he was als

o a nasty

businessman.

“He thinks this will make me give up on Peaceral Jewelry?”

Janet sneered, and the disdain on her face became thicker. “Then let’s wait and see.”

Violet’s

eyes

lit

up slightly. “You mean…”

“Isn’t he trying to pull the carpet from under us? Then let’s burn the carpet first.”

“Go back. Once you confirm that Ivy had indeed betrayed us, terminate her contract immediately. And

announcements on all platforms that she and Peaceral Jewelry are sworn enemies from now on!”
