Chapter 265 I Plan To Return Home

Orville scoffed, “It’s my plan. I met Janet too late, so I have to resort to

another way. Do you understand?”

Ernest teased him, “I don’t think it’s a good idea to soften Beacher up. He

cares about Janet very much.”

“Anyway, I need to give it a try. Let’s see if it’s useful. This is just the

beginning,” Orville said confidently.

He did not like those who offered to come near him. He was fond of women

like Janet, who was beautiful as well as proud.

Moreover, he was sure that he was better than Nathaniel.

“I wish you success.” Ernest had to admit that Orville was strategic.

Just as Orville wanted to reply, his phone rang.

It was from Orville’s assistant.

Orville answered the phone impatiently and then hung up soon.

“What’s wrong?” Ernest asked curiously.

“It’s from my assistant. I’ll be on the plane soon. I’ve only been here for a while. I want to talk more with

Janet,” Orville said anxiously.

“Go and get down to business. Hurry up and go back,” Ernest said with a

serious face.

Orville hesitated for a moment. Finally, he had no choice but to nod.

However, he was unable to feel relieved. He said to Ernest repeatedly, “You must do me a favor. Stop J

anet from seeing other strange men, especially

Nathaniel!”

Seeing Orville’s worried look, Ernest couldn’t help but hold his forehead and

agreed.

Although he agreed, Ernest felt helpless in his heart.

He was sure that Janet wouldn’t listen to him.

As soon as Beacher rushed to Janet’s ward, he shouted loudly.

“Where is Nathaniel? Where does he go?”

Beacher searched for Nathaniel around the ward. He checked the curtain and

the cabinet. He even suspected that Nathaniel was under the bed.

Janet lay on the bed

and watched him rummage around. She found it unbelievable. “Beacher, what are you doing?”

“Where is Nathaniel?” Beacher stood up straight and asked with sharp eyes.

“He left. It’s time to have a meal. I don’t want him to stay here anymore,”

Janet said flatly.

She knew that Ernest and Orville would tell Beacher about Nathaniel’s coming, but she didn’t expect B

eacher to be this furious.

Beacher was incandescent with rage. “How lucky he is!”

“It looks like you are going to tear him apart. Is there a need to

be so agitated?” Janet rolled her eyes at Beacher.

In an instant, Beacher

raised his voice. He yelled at Janet, “Sure! Donahue and Marvin have ordered me to prevent Nathaniel

from getting close to you. You promised them that you wouldn’t see him again, didn’t you?”

“What can I do if Nathaniel wants to come over? Do I have to break his legs?”

Janet rolled her eyes at Beacher.

Beacher found it a good idea. He said with a murderous look, “I will take it

into consideration.”

Janet stopped smiling and said seriously, “Listen, don’t do anything illegal!

Nathaniel indeed left. Don’t worry about me. I don’t want to see him

anymore.”

Beacher was hot–tempered. Janet was afraid that he would truly kidnap

Nathaniel and beat him one day.

Donahue and Marvin were different from Beacher. No matter how furious

they became, they wouldn’t be this impulsive. They would resort to another

trick to handle Nathaniel, such as what they had done at Nathaniel’s

wedding.

Hearing this, Beacher felt a little better.

He glared at Janet, “You’d better not be deceived by him anymore. Nathaniel

isn’t a good person. Stay away from him.”

Janet felt a little embarrassed. She replied with a smile, “I see. Beacher, take

it easy. We can just ignore him.”

Beacher snorted, “He hasn’t paid for how he treated you back then.”

Although Janet was not as angry as Beacher when thinking of her time spent with Nathaniel, she didn’t

want to talk too much about it and changed the

topic.

“Beacher, I happen to have something to discuss with you.”

Janet put on a sweet smile and said, “I’m about to fully recover. I plan to

return home soon.”

Beacher’s eyes widened in shock. He wondered if he misheard it. He asked,

“What did you say? Do you want to go back to work?”

Janet nodded, “Yes!”

“What’s your job? What makes you want to go home suddenly? We can protect you here. You can’t lea

ve here before you recover your health,” Beacher said fiercely,

Janet coughed lightly and continued in a soft

voice, “Peaceral Jewelry is in a critical stage. I need to go back to deal with the development of new pr

oducts. Moreover, I got lots of great ideas from Donahue. I want to design by myself.”

Ever since she was little, Beacher would fulfill all her demands as long as

Janet acted coquettishly.

Marvin and Donahue probably could remain calm, but Beacher was different.

He would be softhearted on Janet the most.

Janet widened her eyes and wore a pitiful look. She tried her best Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

to convince Beacher, “I know you won’t let me down. Please let me go back.”

Janet secretly complained in her heart. Since she was ten years old, she had never acted coquettishly l

ike this. She seemed to be unfamiliar with how to

do it.

Beacher paltered with her, “Alright, I’ll go ask Marvin. We can talk about it

later.”

“You must agree with me right now!”

Janet knew

that she had to persuade Beacher to help her as soon as possible. If Donahue found it out, she would n

ot be able to leave.

Beacher could no longer resist her. He

at last said through his gritted teeth, “Well, I’ll help you. You little bastard!”

Janet chuckled.
