MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Jason sighed in relief when he saw both mother and son in the room.

“Thank goodness.. where did you find him?” Jason curiously asked.

Amelia placed her purse on the bed and turned to him with furrowed brows.

“Who else? that Liam Grayson still doesn’t want to learn”

Aidan tugged Amelia’s dress “Mummy handsome uncle isn’t at fault here, I agreed to go with him”

Amelia sighed and propped him next to Jason “Jason talk to him.. he is becoming really stubborn”

Jason ruffled Aidan’s hair a bit “Hey little man… you got your mum and I worried”

“Can I ask you something Jason?”

“It’s dad Aidan!” Amelia corrected with a firm tone, Aidan only calls Jason dad in public places but when they are alone he calls Jason whatever name comes to his little mind…

“Is he?” Aidan replied with the same tone which caught Jason and Amelia off guard.

“You told me that my daddy’s other name was Liam.. and everyone I’ve met so far with handsome uncle thinks that he is my daddy because of our resemblance! and Liam is handsome uncle’s name too!”

Jason and Amelia exchanged gazes this smarty pants has become really suspicious.

“Aidan don’t you trust me?”

Nora took selfies of herself while Louisa braided her hair..

“You’ve been taking selfies for a while now.. is there something special coming up?”

Nora shook her head and placed the phone on the bed next to her..

“Mum.. tomorrow is my parents and teachers meeting… parents are expected to come”

“is that why you are so happy? you know I will always be there honey”

Nora chuckled staring at her reflection, she touched her pony tail..”Yeah I’m excited because.. I get to see my dad”

The small smile on Louisa’s face washed off as Nora’s words replayed in her mind..

“You told me that daddy will come back home when I clock five”

Louisa sighed, how was she supposed to explain this to Nora.. her father doesn’t even know that she is existing..

“Of course he will be there!” Louisa assured but deep down she knew it was impossible.

“Yay! I can’t wait to see what he looks like… do you think he will like me?”

Louisa lifted Nora up and took her out of the room “you are a lovely girl… so daddy will definitely love you a lot”

Nora planted a quick peck on Louisa’s cheek “I love you mum… but I will love my daddy a bit more”

Louisa pouted “I think you are being unfair”

“No I’m not! I bet grandma would know better, can we go visit her?”

Louisa nodded in approval, deep down she was scared of this tomorrow… what would she tell her daughter if her dad doesn’t show up?

At night…

Liam sat still in the car as he stared at the glowing sign in front of him.

“Come on dude! get out of the car!” James excitedly murmured.

Liam sighed, earlier he had asked them for suggestions on how to win back Amelia… and now they brought him to a clubhouse..

Steven opened the car’s back door and pulled Liam out..

“A clubhouse? do I look like you both? and how will this help me with Amelia?” Liam fired at the both of them..

“Hey go easy on us man… we are only trying to help.. we come here when ever we want to forget our sorrows and pain” Steven explained which Liam didn’t find helping at all.

Liam stared at the sign again… if he was to be seen in a place like this, his image will be tarnished..

“Nah I’m good… I can’t go in there…..

His voice trailed off as he spotted a familiar person going into the clubhouse…

Liam took a sip out of his glass as he stared at the farther end of the clubhouse.. who would have thought that he would see his biggest rival here.

James nudged Liam “Now you know something about him that Amelia doesn’t know”

Jason sat back down and sighed, things were turning bad for him in his relationship.

“So the perfect Mr Miller is also a cheater, I’m sure Amelia would be shaken by this news” James butted in..

Liam smirked, he would surely use this to his advantage….

The next morning…

Amelia arrived at Aidan’s school, today was the parents and teachers meeting..

“so Jason couldn’t make it?” Louisa asked with a raised brow..

Amelia simply nodded, at least she was present that was all that matters.. she noticed the sad look that crossed Louisa’s face and was worried.

“Is everything alright Lou? you look down”

Louisa sighed and stared at Nora who was talking non stop to Aidan who didn’t seem interested.

“Actually.. Nora is a little bit too excited today… she wants to meet her father today”

Amelia narrowed her gaze at Louisa, she had completely forgot to ask who Nora’s dad was..

“Isn’t he around? and who is he by the way?” Amelia asked.

Louisa gripped her arm “Dylan is her dad”

Amelia’s lips parted in surprise, did Louisa and Dylan really had a relationship like that?

“Dylan? as in Liam’s closest friend?” Amelia asked again just to be sure..

“Yes that Dylan..” Louisa murmured with a small sigh..

Amelia held Louisa’s hands taking her to a bench “I never knew that you both will eventually make out your relationship because it seemed pointless at that time”

Louisa squeezed the helm of her dress, she didn’t even know where to start from.

“Actually Dylan suggested we give our relationship a month’s trial.. we were actually progressing a bit… but one day we had a little too much to drink and we…..

Amelia touched Louisa’s hands resting on her laps.. “Go on and tell me Lou”

“We got intimate and the next day he called over the phone.. expressing how sorry he was for the previous night’s incident and that was the last I heard from him… ”

Amelia sighed and pulled Louisa in for a quick embrace.”I’m really sorry about that, you could have tried to reach out to him”

Louisa smiled “He only told me that, he will be back”

Louisa’s mind drifted back to that day when he had said it to her over the phone..

“if you can wait for me… then I will be back for you”

His words were deeply imprinted in her heart and since then she had been waiting for his return…

Nora ran towards her mum “Mum is dad here yet?” she asked in excitement…

Louisa shook her head with a smile “No dear.. he isn’t.. he is stuck at work”

Nora’s face fell as she heard her mum’s words, Amelia took Nora’s hands and pulled her gently towards her.

“Listen Nora.. Aidan’s dad isn’t here too because he is stuck at work”

Nora pouted “but why can’t he make it today? I have been waiting for this day to come for a while now…”

“Nora don’t worry your dad will make it today.. I assure you” Louisa’s eyes widened at Amelia’s words… where was she going to find Dylan?

“Amy are you sure?” Louisa whispered and asked in surprise.

Amelia smiled at Nora “Go and play I will get your dad for you okay?”

Nora nodded with a smile and dashed off to play with Aidan..

Louisa turned sharply to Amelia as soon as Nora was far away from them..

“What? how are we supposed to do that?”

Amelia winked at Louisa with a mischievous smile “Nora doesn’t know who her dad is… call James or Steven over to act like him, and someone has to represent Aidan’s dad as well”

“Why? we are not dead yet!”

Amelia and Louisa’s gaze snapped to the two men standing a little distance away from them.
