Anthony smiled at him which he found corky, he also returned the smile.

“Going so soon without saying hello to your father in-law?”

Alexa turned angrily to Louisa who just spoke “And even the b*tch too speaks!” she scorned with a grin on her lips.

A deafening sound echoed in the hotel’s lobby, Alexa held her cheek as she stared at Louisa in anger.

“Louisa!” Jake yelled at Louisa only to receive a glare.

“Don’t call my name with your filthy mouth Jake! you have no idea how much I fought with Dylan for your sake, he tried to warn me but I never paid heed to him, I never gave him a chance, I was so blinded to see what the truth was”

Jake smirked “Well too bad for you because I heard that your supposed fiance ran away from you doesn’t that say something?”

James threw a punch directly at his face, he launched another attack but was held back by Steven.

“Let it go dude! he doesn’t worth it” Steven said patting James chest slowly.

Louisa turned around and left the hotel, James glanced at Jake. “You will hear from me very soon!”

James pulled Louisa out of the cab she boarded, he took out a bill from his wallet and handed it to the driver.

“You can go” he muttered to see the cab leave before he turned to louisa.

“Do you finally see what Dylan was trying to warn you about? he tried his best and what did he get in return?”

Louisa stifled her cries avoiding eye contact with them.

“I’m really sorry… I…. am such an idiot!”

“only you can bring Dylan back to the city, his company might suffer a huge loss without him, you know the jokers he has as parents? they are not bothered because he does this often” Steven added.

Louisa shook her head “He didn’t run away because of me, Dylan ran away to be with a lady, I guess he doesn’t know how to tell his parents about it yet!”

James and Steven exchanged glances, that wasn’t true, Dylan only loves one lady and that was Louisa.

James took her phone from her purse and tapped on it for some time…

Dylan pulled off his coat throwing it to his bed, he pulled off his cufflinks and threw it out of the window.

No matter the fun activities he and Clara performed together, he still can’t get Louisa’s image out of his mind.

He picked his phone that was vibrating on the large mattress.

When he saw the caller id, his heartbeat increased drastically, his hands quivered that he accidentally dropped the phone like it was a bowl of hot soup.

He contemplated several times whether to accept the call or not.

After a few more seconds, he swiped the answer button and raised it to his ear. He waited patiently for her to speak up, just her voice was enough.

“Dylan?…”

He heard her voice and was relieved however just as he wanted to speak the phone was snatched away from him.

“Who were you talking to baby?” Clara asked before ending the call.

Dylan snatched the phone from her but the call was dead. He felt an instant urge of killing her that minute.

“What were you trying to do?” Clara inquired folding her arm.

“She finally called”

“so?”

Dylan sighed, after all these days Louisa finally called him.

“what If she is in danger? she might need my help or something and her tone sounded like she was in danger I have to leave now!”

Clara rolled her eyes at him “Oh come on! stop acting so restless and think with a calm head, what if that wasn’t Louisa calling? everyone knows how much you love her, so they will definitely take advantage of it!”

Dylan released a breath and sat down on the sofa, he propped one of his legs on the table. “She sounded worried Clara”

“She only called out your name, I heard it clearly”

“Can we return this week? I don’t think I can wait for two more weeks”

James pulled over in front of Louisa’s apartment, she got out of the car and forced a smile at them.

“Please don’t think about that looser, he doesn’t deserve you!” Steven called out.

“I will move on also, I’m not that weak as you deem me to be” Louisa answered back.

They nodded to her words and waved her off, they both watched her enter into her building.

“Do you really think Dylan can move on within a short span of time, you and I know how much he loves her” Steven said.

“You heard the lady’s voice didn’t you? I guess what he had for Louisa wasn’t love after all, I hope he comes back soon, he has a lot of questions to answer” James commented and stared at the building once more.

“She will be alright, she is not a weak lady” James mumbled..
