MY ONE NIGHT STAND WITH MR ARROGANT

Liam stared at the closed door in front of him, he had been standing there for a while now, he doesn’t know how to face Amelia after he accused her wrongly.

He mustered enough courage and pushed the door open.

“Where have you been dear I’ve been waiting for you come over here I’m in the closet”

Liam was taken aback, why does she sound so cool? like nothing happened. He walked slowly towards the closet and saw her fiddling with the buttons on her dress.

“Good thing you are here, please help me with this”

Amelia smelt Liam’s familiar masculine scent and turned sharply to him in surprise.

” You?”

Liam smiled awkwardly, why was she so surprised? she was the one who asked him to come here.

“Yes me!”

Amelia walked past him and left the closet, the last thing she wanted to do now was to talk to him. she was still mad at him for accusing her of such a heinous crime.

“Don’t be under the impression that I was happy to see you, I sent for Chloe” she clarified walking towards the mirror she removed all the pins holding her hair.

“Amelia….

“There’s really nothing left for you to say Liam, I need to get some sleep today has been so stressful and I don’t want to wake up late for my early morning shoot”

“I’m sorry I was very wrong for saying all those hurtful things to you”

Amelia ignored him and walked towards the bed, he watched her lay down on one side of the bed pulling the whole duvet to herself.

He let out a small gasp, he messed up big time and he had to atone for it or he will be the one to suffer.

There was a small bang on the door before it was pushed open.

“Amy!!!!”

Amelia sprang up immediately hearing the little girl’s scream, she hopped down from the bed. “What is the matter sweetie?”

“There’s a monster under my bed” she cried out pointing towards the direction of the door.

Liam pulled off his tie staring at the little girl who just came in.

“I hope it eats you up” he sarcastically said and walked away.

Amelia patted Chloe’s back slowly “Sweetheart you are being super dramatic, there is no thing such as monsters”

Chloe shook her head in denial, she pulled Amelia towards the bed.

“I will sleep here, my room is scary a monster is hiding in there”

Amelia lifted Chloe up to the huge mattress and tucked her in before joining her..

Liam came out from the washroom and creased his brow. Chloe was going to sleep with them tonight?. He reluctantly moved to the bed and laid at the other end.

She suddenly turned smacking him in the face in the process. Liam sat up and felt like strangling her, he glanced at Amelia who was fast asleep while this little leech was glued to his wife like a second skin.

He sighed and laid back, he recalled what caused this whole drama in the first place. Someone deliberately changed Amelia’s report but what would he or she gain by doing so?

Amelia snuggled close to the warm body next to her, a smile adorned her lips as she woke up but it fell as soon as she saw Liam next to her and Chloe? she was nowhere to be found on the bed.

“Liam!” Amelia called out pounding him continuously.

“Wake up.. wake up!!”

Liam released a groan, he sluggishly opened his eyes.Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

“What?” he asked rubbing his eyes slowly.

“Where is Chloe?”

Liam itched his head and pointed downward “She must be somewhere around here”

Amelia gasped and hurried down, she spotted Chloe sprawled on the floor. She snapped her head to Liam. “Have you lost it? she could have gotten a cold”

Liam sneered “Is she still breathing? if yes well I guess my plan failed” he said boredly and returned back to continue his sleep.

She picked Chloe up and laid her back on the bed, Amelia’s eyes narrowed at Liam’s sleeping face, she pulled his legs and yanked him off the bed.

He fell with a heavy thud groaning slightly “What was that for?”

“You are heartless for doing such a silly thing to a child”

Liam wilthed in pain which drew a line of worry on Amelia’s face. she really didn’t mean to push him that hard.

“Liam are you alright?” she crotched down checking for any visible injuries.

Liam took her hand and placed it on his chest “I hurt everywhere but I hurt here the most”

Amelia threw her face to the other side, she won’t forgive him so easily.

“I was wrong and I admit it please don’t be mad at me for so long I can’t bear it for a few hours and I don’t want this to last up to days I might die….

She placed her palm over his lips to stop him from speaking. “Don’t say such things….

Liam’s face brightened she had forgiven him but after hearing the word that came out from her lips his whole face turned sour.

“Save it for the hospital, at least people say their last wishes over there before giving up the ghost” She said with sarcasm and walked away from him.

“I won’t forgive you so easily Liam” she added..

The door to Louisa apartment pushed open as a lady walked in.

Louisa got up at once, she recognized her to be Olivia’s best friend Luciana but what was she doing here so early at her home.

“The least you could do is to knock” Louisa politely jested.

“I don’t want to ruin my beautiful hands by knocking on your wretched door, I had different contemplations before I decided to step into this mouse hole you call apartment!” Luciana scorned.

Louisa was taken aback, that was rude and harsh and what makes her think that she could just come into her home unannounced and speak rudely to her.

“Excuse me?”

“Even with your absence Dylan’s life, he still looks miserable while you are busy enjoying your life to the fullest”

Luciana said glancing at the bowl of chips and dip on the wooden table.

“Are you here to talk about Dylan? if yes, I would suggest you leave because I know nothing about his whereabouts”

“why did you say yes to him when you know well enough that you love another guy?”

“I think it’s time for you to leave!” Louisa seconded.
