Chapter 669 An Apology Party
Faye was indeed injured that night, and it was a little serious.
That scene was still fresh in Colin's memory.
He had sex with Faye all night. He obviously controlled himself all the time, but in the end, he still hurt
her.
When it was dawn, he wore a thin shirt and went out to buy an unguent. After that, he put the unguent
on her carefully when Faye was asleep.
After Colin finished speaking, the office fell into silence.
Abbot looked down at Colin for a while. Seeing that Colin remained silent, he lifted his foot and kicked
his calf, "What are you thinking about?"
Colin raised his eyes and lied through his teeth, "I'm thinking about your short-lived love."
Abbot said, "Huh?"
Colin teased, "It's over before it starts."
Abbot was wordless.
After Colin finished speaking, Abbot glared at him. Colin leaned back in the seat and smiled, "Do you
need me to arrange an apology party for you?"
Abbot put on a false smile, "Thank you."
Colin raised his brows lightly, "Just say thank you?"
"What do you want? How about I kneel down and give you a kowtow?"
Colin chuckled, "Alright, I'll record a video for you."
Hearing Colin's words, Abbot was stunned. Then he realized what Colin meant and angrily laughed,
"Are you waiting for me here?"
Colin joked, "It's never too late for a gentleman to take his revenge."
"Why don't you get back at Matthew?"
"Do you think he can avoid my revenge?"
It was just a joke.
After all, Colin didn't really ask Abbot to kneel down. After the two of them chatted briefly, Colin picked
up his cell phone on the desk and called Faye.
After the ringback music rang for a few seconds, the phone was connected.
With a low voice and a smile, Colin said first, "Honey, where are you?"
Faye answered, "Oscon Road."
Colin glanced at Abbot who was obviously nervous but pretended to be calm. "You and Rebecca
haven't seen each other for so long. Aren't you going to have lunch together at noon?"
After Colin finished speaking, there was silence at the end of the phone.
After a while, Faye said, "There is a new congee restaurant on Oscon Road. It's said that it tastes
good."
Colin said with a smile, "Well, it sounds good."
Faye said, "I'll hang up first."
"Okay."
After ending the call, Colin threw the phone on the desk and looked up at Abbot, "Did you hear that?
There is a new congee restaurant on Oscon Road."
Abbot was confused, "Have porridge at noon?"
Colin smiled, "Then treat Ms. Black to some spicy seafood for lunch?"
Abbot realized the reason why Rebecca had porridge. His face turned red, and he said unnaturally, "It's
okay to have porridge at noon. It can nourish the stomach."
Colin said with a playful look on his face, "Yeah. Having porridge can nourish the stomach."
When Faye answered Colin's call, she used the onboard Bluetooth, so Rebecca could hear it clearly
from the driver's seat. RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only
Seeing that Faye hung up the phone, Rebecca said, "Is Colin going to play a trick on me again?"
Faye was expressionless. "Aren't you going to break up with Abbot? Create a chance for you two."
Rebecca said, "I'm greedy for money and lust, but my EQ isn't low."
Faye raised her eyebrows, "Are you implying who is low EQ?"
Rebecca choked and was wordless.
Half an hour later, the four appeared in the box in the congee restaurant.
It was at noon. There were a few side dishes and four bowls of millet porridges that were clear and
could almost be used as a mirror.
Rebecca had been in a bad mood since Abbot entered the box. She lowered her head, drank two
mouthfuls of porridge, and then murmured, "The swill in my family tastes better than this."
After Rebecca finished speaking, Colin smiled, kicked Abbot under the table, and reminded him to talk.
Abbot coughed twice, "Do you have this hobby?"
