Chapter 642 Out of Control

As Colin said, Faye tightened her grip on her fork.

After a few seconds, Faye adjusted her mood and looked up, "What?"

Colin said, "Can I explain?"

Faye looked directly at Colin and didn't say yes or no.

Faye and Colin looked at each other, and Colin was the first to lose. He looked down at the table and

was upset.

When Carlotta settled down Jadon, she saw such a scene.

Colin and Faye sat opposite each other without saying a word. Faye looked at Colin while he was

lowering his head. Both of them were silent.

Carlotta held the handrail and stared at Colin and Faye for a while. She approached them and said,

"Are you two OK?"

Faye said, "Yes."

Colin struggled to smile with his thin lips, "Carlotta, I'm OK."

Carlotta asked, "Do you want to have some fruit? Abbot asked his assistant to send two boxes of fruit

some time ago, especially..."

Carlotta tried hard to adjust the atmosphere, but instantly, Faye faintly said, "It's getting late. You should

go back earlier."

Carlotta said nothing.

Colin had difficulty breathing, "OK."

Colin then said goodbye to Carlotta and left with his coat.

Carlotta was stunned and tried to run after him, but was caught by Faye's outstretched hand.

Carlotta wrung her eyebrows and said, "Kid, what conflicts between husband and wife can't be

explained clearly face to face?"

Faye said, "Carlotta, let me calm down."

Hearing what Faye said, Carlotta wanted to say something, but when she lowered her head, she saw

Faye's red eyes.

Carlotta said, "Faye."

Faye said, "I'm fine."

This night was destined to be a sleepless night.

After drinking, Colin was unable to drive. After coming out of Jadon's Villa, he stood at the entrance for

a while and took out his mobile phone to call Ethan.

The polyphonic ringtone rang for a while, and Ethan picked it up. "Hey, Colin."

Colin said in a deep voice, "Do you have time? I can't drive after drinking."

Ethan asked simply, "Where are you?"

Colin said, "Jadon's home."

Ethan said, "Wait for me."

After hanging up with Ethan, Colin put his hands in his pockets and stared at his shadow drawn by the Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

street lamp, with the tip of his tongue against the back alveolar.

More than 40 minutes later, Ethan arrived by car.

Ethan lowered the window, "Colin."

Colin looked up, said, "Yes," walked around the car body, walked to the front of the passenger seat,

opened the door, and sat down.

As soon as Colin sat in, Ethan noticed his abnormality.

Ethan chuckled, "Have you been scolded?"

Colin leaned back in his seat and said nothing.

When Colin said nothing, he laughed, "I see. Faye even didn't want to scold you."

Colin sat still, squinting at Ethan, "Gloating?"

Ethan turned the steering wheel and smiled, "Just so so."

Colin closed his eyes, "I made friends carelessly."

Ethan smiled and changed the topic, "Did you explain clearly?"

Colin replied in a muffled voice, "No."

Ethan asked, "You went back without a clear explanation? Are you sure you won't deepen the conflict?"

Colin replied in a low voice, "If I don't leave, I will make her embarrassed in front of Carlotta."

Ethan didn't have a teasing smile anymore. After a while, he said, "Since you know her so well, why do

you still touch her bottom line?"

Colin said, "Maybe ... stupid?"

Ethan smiled when he heard the words, "Do you still pretend to be in front of me?"

Colin's closed eyes trembled and he said in a hushed voice, "This accident is frightening but not

dangerous. Have you ever thought that if Lance is really involved in this, Faye..."

Faye would be involved in the middle. How embarrassed she should be.

As a friend for many years, Ethan certainly knew what Colin was thinking. He said comfortingly, "I think

you should trust Faye and she will face it rationally."

Colin said, "It's different to face it rationally and not be embarrassed."

What's more, if there really were problems with Lance, it must be rooted out.

If Faye was softhearted, there would be endless troubles.

Ethan asked, "Since you kept this from her, she wouldn't be sad?"

Colin said, "Yes."

In a word, no matter what you Colin did, it was wrong.

On the other side, Faye stood in front of the French window, on the phone with Jake.

The darkness of the night outside the window made people breathe hard. Faye said, "I know he is for

my good. I don't blame him, but suddenly I felt powerless..."

With these words, Faye paused and gasped, "Jake, I feel a little out of control today..."
