Chapter 624 Innocence
Hearing this, the boy standing in front of the desk looked embarrassed.
After a long time, he uttered some words from his throat, "I didn't do anything wrong."
Faye said indifferently, "You think it's correct to be a poser?"
The boy explained, "I have my reason. It was because the artist who participated in recording the
variety show with me that..."
Before he finished speaking, Faye interrupted him coldly, "It's useless for you to explain to me."
He had to explain it to the public who jumped to conclusions by photos.
The boy took a deep breath. He said unwillingly, "But I obviously didn't do anything wrong. Why should
I apologize?"
Faye asked, "Do you think you are wronged?"
The boy was silent, but his expression showed acquiescence.
Faye said coolly, "There are lots of people who have been wronged. That's showbiz."
The boy was speechless.
The atmosphere froze in an instant. Faye loosened her hands with fingers crossed at the desk and
leaned back to the seat. "You only have two choices now. First, issue a public apology. Second, go to
the personnel department to go through the resignation procedures. We'll regard you as an inferior
artist."
She spoke mercilessly.
The boy looked at her blankly. He clenched his teeth and kept silent with a pair of red eyes.
The agent answered instantly, "Ms. Nash, we will make an official apology."
Faye looked away from the boy and stared at the agent. "You made a correct choice."
The agent said, "Ms. Nash, I'm sorry to bother you about the follow-up."
Faye gave a nod of assent.
The agent talked to her with a smile for quite a while before pulling the boy's arm and leaving.
Watching them leave, Galen chuckled and said, "Bentley is still young. I heard that he is only 19 years
old."
Faye looked up at him and said, "Investigate the artist who recorded variety show with Bentley."
Galen looked puzzled.
Faye raised her eyebrows. "Didn't you get it?"
It dawned on Galen. "Why didn't you tell him directly? If he knows you will help him, maybe..."
Faye interrupted him, "I want to take the edge off his dashing spirit."
Galen was enlightened. "I see."
Bentley was prone to impulsiveness at this age.
If he didn't suffer from minor setbacks, he would definitely come unstuck in a great one in the future.
Galen smiled. "This matter is actually not a big deal, which will not cause much public opinion. Don't
announce the investigation result, so that you can frustrate him and teach him an important lesson."
Faye took the cup from the desk and took a sip of the coffee. "I did this to let him draw a lesson, not let
him be servile."
Galen didn't know how to answer.
Faye gave a little smile. "It is our responsibility to clear the stigma of artists. It is their obligation to
cooperate when dealing with the public relations crisis."
Galen nodded. "You are teaching him to be obedient."
Faye smiled and stood up to wash the coffee cup, without admitting or denying.
It was already noon when she finished her work.
Galen asked her for lunch.
Faye said, "I have a lunch date."
Galen asked with winks, "With Mr. Farrell?"
Faye nodded with a smile.
Galen grabbed the door frame and giggled with hand covering his mouth. "Ms. Nash, I hope you have This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
a good lunch."
Faye joked, "You want to be fined again?"
Galen said, "It's lunch break."
Faye smiled, "You're so lucky. I'll let you off."
Galen said, "I found that you have become more and more fond of laughing since you were with Mr.
Farrell."
Faye asked in reply, "Really?"
Galen said firmly, "Yes."
After being garrulous with Faye, Galen left the office.
Faye smiled and picked up her phone to send a message to Colin: [What do you want to eat?]
Colin replied immediately: [Did you finish your work?]
Faye: [Yes.]
Colin: [Come to my office and wait for me for a while. I'll take you to a newly opened restaurant later.]
Faye: [OK.]
After ten minutes, Faye appeared outside Colin's office and knocked at the door.
After a few knocks, the door was opened from the inside.
It was Robert who opened the door.
Faye looked inside and saw Colin sitting in the chair with livid complexion. She lowered her voice and
asked, "Are you in a meeting now?"
Robert replied in a low voice, "There are some problems with a contract."
Faye said, "OK. I'll wait outside."
Robert said, "You'd better come in so that you can help these executives temporarily."
He leaned away and motioned Faye to go inside.
After hesitating for a few seconds, Faye stepped inside.
The atmosphere was thick with tension in the office. When these executives saw Faye, they had to
smile falsely.
Under the circumstances, Faye couldn't greet them, so she sat down in a place in the corner to
minimize her sense of existence.
Colin raised his hand to pull the tie, saying coldly, "Continue in the afternoon."
Hearing this, all the executives stood up and left quickly after greeting Faye.
After they left, Colin stood up and walked to Faye.
Faye didn't move, looking at Colin who leaned down, and reached out to touch his face.
Colin rubbed his face in her hand with anger subsided. He said innocently, "Honey, they bullied me."
