Chapter 595 Directness
Colin?
Only Helen called him in such a manner.
Colin lightly picked his eyebrow, pretending not to notice it. He turned his phone around in his hand and
put it back in his pocket.
After that, he looked at Robert. "What did you want to say to me just now?"
"Oh, I want to say that barring accidents, Brandon will try to contact me in the near future."
Colin sniffed, "Don't let him find anything adverse to us." Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
Robert said, "Okay, I got it."
Colin stood up and left.
Scarcely had he walked out of the ward when he met Andy who had just finished the discharge
paperwork.
With a pile of documents in his hand, Andy greeted Colin, "Mr. Farrell, it's all done."
Colin nodded. "Let's get going."
After getting on the car, Colin sat in the back seat and asked in a heavy voice, "Mrs. Farrell said she
was busy today. What is she up to?"
Andy looked up at Colin in the rearview mirror and replied, "I have no idea."
Colin raised the corner of his lips. "Really? Did Mrs. Farrell tell you to keep it from me?"
Andy averred, "I honestly don't know."
Colin smiled carelessly. "How are you getting along with Lance recently?"
Andy was stunned and said, "Quite good."
Colin asked, "What do you think of him?"
Thinking for a moment with an expressionless face, Andy answered, "He values friendship very much."
Colin continued, "Is that all?"
Andy replied, "He is meticulous."
Ethan taught Andy a lot of things, so they behaved and spoke in a similar manner.
They were reticent.
Thinking of Ethan, Colin suddenly remembered something. He sent a message to Ethan with his
phone. [How is it going with you and Ms. Rowan?]
Ethan replied instantly. [She brushed me off.]
Colin: [Why don't you go to her house to meet her?]
Ethan: [I had waited for her for a week, but she didn't go downstairs.]
Colin couldn't help laughing at Ethan's message and texted: [She is the very woman.]
Ethan: [Are you released from the hospital?]
Colin: [Yes.]
Ethan: [Let's have a dinner party tonight to celebrate your discharge. It's on me.]
Colin: [You are not yourself today. Why are you so nice to me?]
As soon as his message was sent, Ethan gave him a call.
Colin deliberately picked up his phone slowly and said, "What's the matter?"
Ethan said with a solemn expression, "Texting is too troublesome."
Colin teased him, "Isn't it because you feel it's difficult to tell your intentions clearly?"
Ethan softly said, "It's my treat tonight. Tell Faye to ask Violet out."
Colin ridiculed him, “You're so straight when chasing a girl.”
Ethan, "I’m not as hesitant as Abbot."
Colin chuckled, "From your words, I felt your contempt."
Then he said, "If you beg me, I will do you this favor."
Ethan said calmly, "I beg you."
There was something Colin didn't like when getting along with Ethan.
As an insensitive and straight person, Ethan only cared about the results, totally ignoring the process.
This was probably why Colin always teased Abbot but not Ethan. After all, Ethan's reaction barely
brought him any joy.
Ethan's dullness made Colin feel bored, so he said with a smile, "Let's make it at twenty o'clock, in
our usual meeting place."
Ethan responded, "OK."
After hanging up, Colin texted to Faye: [Ask Violet to go to Marriott for dinner this evening. Only you
can help Ethan.]
The message was sent, but Faye didn't reply.
Staring at his phone for a while, Colin looked up and kicked the backrest of the driver's seat. "I heard
that Ethan introduced a girlfriend to you a while ago. What's she like?"
Andy didn't expect Colin to suddenly ask him about this, and then he replied, "The date was not going
well."
Colin was puzzled, "You only met each other once."
Andy said unnaturally, "Yes."
Colin asked in curiosity, "Why?"
Andy was silent and said nothing.
Colin smiled. "It's rare that you have a secret."
Andy was speechless.
They arrived in Fennth Community.
Andy was just about to drive into the basement car park when a figure suddenly appeared in front of
the car.
Fortunately, Andy immediately braked, so he didn't hit the person.
Andy stopped the car, and after seeing the person, he turned his head and looked at Colin. "Mr.
Farrell."
Colin was still looking down at his phone for Faye's reply. Hearing Andy's voice, he looked up.
Andy said, "It's Helen."
