Seeing Maxwell, Matthew poured the tea in his hand into the tea tray slowly. NôvelDrama.Org © content.

"I still have something to do. You guys talk first."

After finishing his words, Matthew stood up and walked towards the door.

When passing Maxwell, Matthew stopped, turned to look at him, and said, "Bro, behave well in my

area. Otherwise, I will crucify you."

Hearing that, Maxwell sneered and said, "Mr. Waylon, you are talking big."

Matthew asked, "You want to have a try?"

Maxwell replied, "I don't dare."

Matthew sneered, but soon stopped and said, "Don't be too arrogant."

After Matthew finished speaking, he stepped away and closed the door of the room.

After Matthew had left, Maxwell stood at the door and said with a smile, "Mr. Farrell, it's inappropriate to

show me the authority before we even talk about cooperation, isn't it?"

Colin did not show any emotion but drank tea and said emotionlessly, "That is a grudge between you

two, and it has nothing to do with me."

With that, Maxwell lifted his eyebrows.

What was talking drivel?

He learned it today.

Maxwell stood at the door for a while, stepped forward, and sat down in front of Colin, handing him a

file folder.

Inside the file folder was the evidence that Daisy had set the fire to hurt Brandon.

After reading them one by one, Colin picked up a teacup, poured him a cup of tea without showing any

emotion, and pushed it along the table to Maxwell.

Maxwell dropped his eyes, took a glance at it, and said, "Mr. Farrell will not poison me, right?"

Colin sneered and said, "Deadly poison."

Maxwell chuckled, picked up the tea in front of him, and drank it all.

After Maxwell finished drinking, Colin did not give him a refill but put the teapot in his hand directly in

front of Maxwell.

Seeing this, Maxwell made a pun, "Mr. Farrell can be so generous?"

Colin replied, "Only by being generous can I gain."

Maxwell was also not courteous, reached out to carry the teapot in his hand, and shook, teasing, "Is

there enough tea inside?"

Colin snorted and said, "Don't worry. For partners, I've never been stingy."

Maxwell said, "Is that so? Then why did those old foxes in the Farrell Group end up being driven to

desperation and leaving the country?"

Colin said with a mock smile, "I've never been a partner with them."

Hearing Colin's words, Maxwell poured himself a cup of tea and cut to the chase, "Old Mr. Farrell will

make a trip back to Bomsville next month."

Colin leaned back in his seat and asked, "What do you want to do?"

Maxwell replied, "I know you do not want to kill anyone but to do your business in a down-to-earth way.

Don't worry. You don't have to do anything. I'll find someone to do it, but I need you to help me make a

show."

Colin said in a low voice, "What kind of show?"

Maxwell stared at Colin with a smile and said, "Old Mr. Farrell has a suspicious mind, so during this

period of time, you try to provoke him more."

Colin looked at Maxwell and said, "It's not as simple as you say, right?"

Maxwell smiled and said jokingly, "As Old Mr. Farrell has a suspicious mind, if you provoke him, he will

find a way to kill you. And I know him. Before he kills you, he will create an alibi for himself, and it will

be the best time for him as he will leave Cocanel next month."

Colin tapped twice on the tea table with his long and slender fingers and said, "Take my life to you as

bait?"

Maxwell said, "One can hardly expect to accomplish his goal if he is not willing to take risks."

Colin said, "I am afraid that new risks will arise after I've taken risks and you've accomplished your

goal."

Maxwell picked up the cup of tea to drink and said, "Don't you believe me?"

Colin said in a low voice, "Tell me your plan in detail. I do not yet trust you so much that I can risk my

life for your words."

Maxwell teased, "Don't worry. When the time comes, I will definitely tell you the detailed plan. I am not

those old fellows of the Farrell Group, and you are not Hank. I know what I am doing."

Out of the tea house, Colin and Maxwell each go their own way.

When Colin got into the car, Robert asked, "Mr. Farrell, are we going to the company now or going

home?"

Colin leaned into the seat, pulled off the tie around his neck, raised his hand to unbutton his shirt by

two, frowned, and asked in a low voice, "Robert, are there any projects in the company that can send

Mrs. Farrell to the field next month?"
