Married At First Glance: I Am Not Ugly

Accident

Alexander stared down at the phone in his hand wondering if Jessie really hung the call on him.

“Like wtf, did she fucking hanged the call on me!?” He yelled, squeezing life out of the phone, passing all his aggression on it, making the screen crack a little bit.

He stood up from his chair and began pacing to and fro of the room while thinking of what to do.

“Gosh James really got me on this one.” He said while thinking aloud. “Arrrrrrrgh.” he screamed frustratedly while pushing everything on his table away making them crash into each other causing a noisy and loud thud on the floor. He loosen the tie on his neck and threw it to only God knows before loosening three of his shirt buttons revealing his abs.

He could feel the piercing look of his secretary on his body from the corner of his eyes through the transparent door, his phone vibrating on the floor.

He walked over to pick it up while sliding over the screen which revealed an anonymous message, he read the message aloud to show his eyes or mind aren’t playing any trick on him.Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

‘Hope you do love the challenge I brought to you this time……….. let’s see how you corner your way from it. This contract is mine buddy.’

He threw the phone towards the wall in anger making the screen crash completely without remedy and fumed in anger throwing anything he can lay his hands on away turning his office upside down.

“Fuck you bastard I’m gonna get this contract by all means.” He reassured himself with nothing but a determined look on his face.

James has been his rival right from the time when they were both schooling at the same school, he tends to want to have all the good things in life without sacrificing thinking everyone gets to bow down at his feet which is one thing he will never do, Alexander would rather die than to lose to him.

“Alexander think think think.” he said to himself while tapping his forehead and equally pacing around the already messed up room.

Jessie is out the option cause even though he knows if God comes down from heaven with a skirt and blouse she’s never going to let anything tamper or disrupt her career so therefore she’s not an option for him.

“What about you finding any of your workers or any street lady and signing a marriage contract with her?” His subconscious chipped in.

“Ummm nope any of my workers won’t work cause they will feel I already created a room for disregard between us so I wouldn’t want but choosing a random lady on the street isn’t a bad idea………… no lady in their right senses would want to reject an offer like this.” with just that thought on his mind he picked up his jacket having a determined mindset that he will marry the first lady he set his eyes on for there months then they will divorce and he can now be with the woman of his dreams.

Alexander walked out of his office with a frown on his face as usual, not as if he did have a smile plastered on his face before tho, his hair falling casually covering the left part of his face giving him a bad boy vibe.

He walked over to the parking lot. Sighting him from some distance away, the security men quickly opened the back door of his black limousine while bowing their heads to show their respect to him.

“Where to sir?” the driver asked casually.

“Drive across the city of los Angeles.” He replied in a calm tone, closing his eyes and then releasing the breath he didn’t know he was holding before.

The driver ignited the car engine alive and drove away from the company.

“Play me some cool music.”

He switched to a music player while he clicked on the very available one. Old town road by Lil nas started while he hummed along with the song.

*Yeah, I’m gonna take my horse to the old town road

I’m gonna ride ’til I can’t no more

I’m gonna take my horse to the old town road

I’m gonna ride (Kio, Kio) ’til I can’t no more

I got the horses in the back

Horse tack is attached

Hat is matte black

Got the boots that’s black to match

Riding on a horse, ha

You can whip your Porsche

I been in the valley

You ain’t been up off the porch, now

Can’t nobody tell me nothing

You can’t tell me nothing

Can’t nobody tell me nothing

You can’t tell me nothing

Riding on a tractor

Lean all in my bladder

Cheated on my baby

You can go and ask her

My life is a movie

Bull riding and boobies

Cowboy hat from Gucci

Wrangler on my booty

Can’t nobody tell me nothing

You can’t tell me nothing

Can’t nobody tell me nothing

You can’t tell me anything………………

He was jolted out of hia fantasy when the car screeched to stop abruptly.

“I’m sorry sir, are you okay?” the driver said immediately looking sober.

“What was that all about?” He asked ready to rant and rave at him.

“A lady almost got hit, that’s why I had to press the brake immediately to avoid causing an accident sir.” he replied while shivering with fear.

Alexander got down from the car to check out the situation.

“Are you okay?” He could hear his driver asking the lady as he helped her stand to her feet. She should be in her mid twenties or so.

“I’m so sorry I almost implicated you sir.” the lady apologized facing Alexander while bowing slightly she turned around to go but winced in pain.

“Are you sure you’re okay, miss?” His driver insisted while holding her hand standing beside her as a means of support to her.

“Get her into the car, maybe we could drop her off.” Alexander finally spoke out while entering the car back. Hia driver looked so shocked, his eyes almost bulging out of his sockets, because he couldn’t believe what Alexander had just said.

Alexander sat down and rested hus head backwards.

“Was I really the one who said that just now?” He asked myself while chuckling lightly.

They both joined later on while he zoomed off.
