Chapter 2470

Chapter 2470

“I remember you said that there is a hidden danger in the information you gave me?”

After Jasper reminded him, Snow immediately understood what Jasper meant.

Jasper wanted to delay the destruction time of the keys.

He had told Jasper that the intelligence agency would find a way to replace the installed cameras after a while, and when that happened, these keys would become invalid. However, he did not tell Jasper the whole truth. In fact, the keys would expire much earlier than what he told Jasper. Because there was a simpler way to invalidate the key besides replacing the camera.

That was to key in some orders to destroy the back-end automatically, but that operation had a lot of uncontrollability and might even affect the obtained images. So, they would not do this until it was absolutely critical.

In the entire intelligence agency, only two people had mastered this destruction method, one was Smart, and the other was Snow.

This was one of the reasons Smart made things hard for Snow earlier. After all, no one wanted their unique status to be challenged.

Snow did not tell Jasper the whole truth for the simple reason that he was not prepared to let Jasper check the surveillance of the Kurt family through the secret key.

Snow’s discovery of the secret key was simply an accident, and at this time, he did not intend to be an enemy of the intelligence agency.

Under the premise of this idea, the exposure of the secret key was a risk for him. Also, if the intelligence agency discovered that this matter was related to him in the future, it would increase the

possibility of the outside world finding out about the intelligence agency’s conspiracy and it would make the United States more likely to encounter international diplomatic risk. Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

As someone who was genuinely American, Snow could not allow this to happen. Therefore, the reason he told Jasper about those secret keys was not just to further bind Jasper, but to also use this as bait to prevent the possibility that Jasper would get angry and leave him when he found out.

However, Jasper seemed to have guessed the truth.

Jasper even guessed that he had the power to prevent the remote destruction of the secret key.

When Snow cracked the algorithm set by Smart, even Smart had no idea that Snow not only obtained the program flow to control the remote destruction but even taught himself to deduce the solution to prevent its destruction. And now Jasper asked him to come here because he wanted to destroy the destruction program. Because the key to everything lay in the control disk in Smart’s hand!

As long as Jasper had the disk and the deciphering algorithm deduced by Snow, the secret key in Jasper’s hands could be safely used until the day the camera was replaced.

This was Jasper’s purpose.

“Why? Can’t you do it?” Jasper’s voice interrupted Snow’s reverie.

Just as he was about to say something, he saw Jasper’s half-smile. Then, the refusal that was on the tip of his tongue was stuffed back into his stomach abruptly.

He had no choice now.

He had only two options, either Jasper handed him over to the Intelligence Agency to try for being a ‘spy’, or he would obey Jasper.

The former would be a dead end. He was still young and did not want to die.

“No problem…” Snow lowered his head, and then added, “I can help you with this, but only with those things in your hands.”

When Snow said the last sentence, he was very firm.

Jasper also instantly understood the meaning behind it. This was Snow’s bottom line. It was either he agreed or died.

Jasper smiled almost without pause. “Okay, I promise.”

You will disclose these secrets and secret keys to the public in the future anyway, so why should I be in a hurry?
