Chapter 73
Chapter 73
As I step outside into the cool summer air, my mind is racing with a mix of anger, disgust, and determination, as I give myself some free time to think…
The weight of the evidence we’ve just uncovered now sits heavily on my shoulders, fueling my burning desire for justice.
Lottie was in many of the files, as they tormented and tortured her in more ways than one…
ly eyes water slightly, before I close them and count to ten–pulling myself together.

1 pull out my phone in frustration and dial the number for Anna’s father, my fingers trembling slightly with a combination of anticipation and rage. The call connects, and I can hear the faint sound of ringing on the other end…
“Hello son everything alright?” Anna’s father’s voice is filled with concern and curiosity as he meets my ear.

answer considering he was a very busy businessman… from what I’ve gathered he barely answers Anna unless it suits him!
“We’ve got the evidence we need. It’s all here on Tommy’s phone,” I say, my voice laced with a seething anger – having known that Jace already updated him earlier on the events of last night.
There’s a brief pause on the other end, and then I hear a deep sigh before a door is closed. “Her mother has been worried sick… we haven’t even seen Anna in you know? It’s been a while… we feel terrible! We will get the best lawyers on this – leave it with me!” he replies, his tone heavy with a mix of sadness and resolve.
“I need them to come here as soon as possible,” I tell him urgently, “We need to discuss our next steps and how were going to bring Tommy, Jason and Holden down and make sure they pay for what they’ve done.”
“I’ll make some calls right now
w and have them there as soon as I can no later than tomorrow!” He responds, his voice firm and determined. “We won’t let any of them get away with this.” He concludes.
With those words, we end the call, and I take a moment to compose myself.
It was sad hour distant Anna’s parents were… it was odd to say the least… they would be happy to spend millions on her in court, but didn’t once think to fly out here to comfort their daughter after the events she went through last night..
Sometimes, the rich are the oddest…
The darkness that Tommy has unleashed upon us all will not go unanswered though, that’s the main thing. Together, we will bring him to justice and ensure that he can never hurt anyone again – especially not Lottie and Anna
I reenter the cabin, where Jace, Del, and Greg are still engrossed in examining the contents of Tommy’s phone–seeming to transfer the data over to flash drive for backup now.
Anna and Lattle sit across from them, seeming nervous and unsettled.
“We’re going to make him pay,” I say to the room, my voice filled with conviction. “Anna’s father will have the best lawyers in town by tomorrow, we’ll devise a plan to take this to the cops, to expose Tommy and bring him down.” I conclude as everyone perks up at my tone – hopeful
“Del, can you contact Yenni? Ask him to come patch up any of their wounds? We don’t want the cops thinking we’ve assaulted them more than necessary! On that note though, can you give Freddie a call too Jace? Ask him for copies of the contracts? That will prove that they agreed to fight and to obtain potential injuries so we are covered there!” I ask the guys as they immediately get to work.
My eyes land on Lottie, as she seems to watch me in awe, as I offer her a small smile to assure her that I have things under control.
“Alex?” She speaks out next, as I nod and wait for her to continue with whatever she wanted to add

praks at Lottie’s suggestion, referring back the the female officer who had conducted the home visit not so long ago.
She did seem genuinely concerned for Lottie’s safety and no doubt knew there was something wind going on. If I remember correctly, officer Owens also had encounters with the three as they would flag Lottie’s absence with the school and police station…
“The letter! Did you keep

We are building this case against them and we are leaving no room for error… NôvelDrama.Org: owner of this content.
“It’s at Anna’s place yeah!” Lottie nods, as 1 smile.
Perfect!
Tommy had foolishly begged for officer Owens to pass over a letter he had wrote to Lottie during the officers home visit….
Owens, at the time, thought Tommy was just a friend, and didn’t know what was inside the letter. By having a police officer vouch for us – having been involved in Tommy’s harassing lengths- it will only help strengthen our case against him!
It’s perfect!
With a renewed sense of purpose, approach Lottie and take her hands in mine. “We’ll contact Officer Owens, I assure her. “She’ll be valuable in this fight for justice. And with the evidence we have now, we already have a pretty strong case against Tommy.” I tell her, seeing her eyes glimmer with hope.
Together, we’ll make sure Tommy pays for the pain he’s caused. I’m not going to let him get away with it.
As Del and lace continue making the necessary calls, I head to the small kitchen area to make Lottie and Anna a sandwich – since none of them have
ate in awhile now.
Once the sandwiches are done, I call them in, as they both stand – leaving Greg, Del and lace behind.
“We need to be prepared for what lies ahead, I say, as they thank me and take the food happily – although it’s not the most appetising thing on the planet – it will have to do in these circumstances.
“The legal process might be long and challenging, but we have each other for support. We won’t let Tommy intimidate you any longer. I state firmly, as they nod at
along with my words.
“Well, at least we have the truth on our side. Anna announces.
I couldn’t be prouder of Anna and Lottie’s strength. They’ve faced unimaginable horrors, especially over the past few hours, yet they’re still standing, ready to fight for justice.
It’s a testament to their resilience and the band we’ve formed as a group. Lottie was always meant to be one of us… I now know that for a fact….
As we wait for Yenni and Freddie to arrive, I grab a pen and paper, jotting down a list of tasks that need to be done prior to meeting with the lawyers.
We need to gather all of the evidence, file a police report, contact officer Owens, compile witness statements, and make sure every detail of their crimes is documented to date. This fight won’t be easy, but we’re prepared to go the distance and we already have the funds to do so!
When Yenni and Freddie finally arrive, we bring them up to speed on the situation. Yenni is taken to the cellar, having handled jobs like this for us before as a trained doctor, he helps tend to the wounds of Jason, Holden and Tommy.
As much as it pains me, I know it will look better on our end to the police if they are somewhat healed and cared for.
Freddie hands me over the copies of the contracts, ensuring that we have the necessary legal backup, before lighting up a cigarette…
“Well those three little fuckers left me two fights down last night! They’re lucky I don’t go down there and give them some extra beatings myself!” Freddie huffs, as he takes a long draw of his cigarette.
“Let me make it up to you!” I state, slapping a hand on his back as he chuckles next…
“Well Alex, now might not be the best time, but it’s funny you say that… I was actually thinking about diving into a new venture… stepping into the

professional world? I’ve had the connections but never the right talent to do it… but with you my boy…I could make you the worlds best! You’d be a millionaire Freddie announces the idea, as I study him curiously his keen whit shining through.
“Ahh let me think on it…once this is all over with eh? Let me get back to you!” 1 laugh, as he nods and holds his hands up.
“Of course! Of course! I’m here when you want to talk!” He chuckles one last time, before stomping
out his cigarette.
As the day draws to a close, we gather around the table as a group one final time. Greg, Yenni and Freddie all now gone, officer Owens has been given a brief over the phone of our situation and will drive through tomorrow, and the last thing needed now is to call the cops in on this….
We know the road ahead won’t be easy, but we have each other, a support system that won’t waver
We won’t rest until they are behind bars!
