Chapter 185: Shared Pain
After hearing Sandy's words, Bonnie was dumbfounded.
How could there be such a shameless person in the world!
Neve's shamelessness was really an eye-opener for Yanis and Bonnie.
Bonnie wondered how could Zane fall in love with a woman like that.
Bonnie didn't discuss this with Yanis in front of Stella and Sandy. She intended to talk about it with
Yanis when they were in the car later.
Maybe it was really a bad idea for them to go out today.
They had just met Zane and Neve.
And then they bumped into Myles and Mia.
Bonnie thought that Manches City was really a small place, they kept encountering people who they did
not want to see.
When Bonnie saw the two, she subconsciously tightened her grip of Yanis's hand.
Yanis had wanted to ask Bonnie what was wrong when she saw Myles and Mia coming from one side
of the parking lot.
Stella was telling Sandy to take good care of herself and some dos and don'ts.
Yanis lowered her voice, "Should we avoid them?"
In fact, it was not late now to avoid them.
But Bonnie hesitated for a few seconds and then shook her head. "Even if we avoided him today, we
are both in Manches City, we will meet again like today."
Yanis looked at Bonnie and wanted to say something but stopped on a second thought.
Mia and Yanis knew each other.
After all, Myles, Bonnie and Mia used to be in a triangle love.
And they were all acquaintances.
Yanis was protective of her friend and didn't intend to say hello to Myles or Mia.
But the latter came up to them.
"Bonnie, Yanis, what a coincidence." Mia's tone was somewhat cheerful.
Since she had said hello to them, Yanis could only nod, "Yes. Manches City is really small."
Mia came over and looked at Bonnie, "Bonnie, did you quarrel with Myles?"
Bonnie didn't want to talk to Mia, but she hated it when Mia tried to stir up trouble here, "It should have
nothing to do with you."
Mia smiled. "That's true. Anyway, not even Myles cares."
Bonnie frowned and was obvious getting angry.
But when Myles came over, Bonnie suppressed the anger, "I don't care, either. So, Miss Read, will you
get out of our way? We are leaving."
Mia nodded and walked to the side.
"Bonnie, Yanis, let's go." Stella had finished talking to Sandy and came over.
Bonnie nodded, "Sandy left?"
"She has work to do tonight, so she left first." Stella held Bonnie's and Yanis's hands and said, "Let's
go."
Bonnie did not even glance at Myles.
Stella didn't know what had happened just now, so she didn't notice Bonnie's anger.
Myles didn't know Bonnie could ignore him as if he was never there.
After that night, the two never met or talked again. It was as if they had disappeared from each other's
word.
In fact, Myles knew that Bonnie had been in the hospital with Yanis.
Myles had been angry since he recovered and had thought of tipping Zane off.
But he didn't in the end. Because if he really said something to Zane, then Bonnie would never be with
him the whole life. Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.
So even though he was really pissed, he didn't do anything that would make her unhappy.
He came here today because Evan mentioned that he seemed to see Bonnie here.
That was why he asked Mia out so that he could run into Bonnie.
It had been days and Myles thought Bonnie had lost a lot of weight.
He despised himself. She had completely ignored him but he was still caring about her health.
"Myles, do you really like her so much?" Mia stood beside him and asked as she watched Bonnie and
Yanis walk away.
Myles looked back after hearing her words, "I'm hungry, let's go to dinner."
Myles didn't intend to talk about Bonnie with Mia.
Myles walked into the mall while Mia stood there. She started at Bonnie's back for a few seconds
before she followed Myles.
After Bonnie and Yanis sent Stella home, they went back to Linen Bay together.
All the way, they were surprisingly quiet, with no one spoke.
Bonnie had wanted to gossip about Neve in the car with Yanis but she was no longer in the mood.
It was not until they were at a red light that Bonnie sighed.
Yanis looked over at her, "What is wrong?"
"Today is really not the day to hang out. We should go to an astrologer before going out the next time,"
Bonnie said.
Yanis chuckled, "We can try next time."
Bonnie nodded. "We are definitely doing it."
Then they were quiet for a while.
After the car restarted, Bonnie glanced at Yanis and asked, "Yanis, did you feel anything when you saw
Zane?"
Yanis shook her head, "No."
"For real?"
When Bonnie asked for the second time, Yanis chose to be silent.
Maybe she did feel something.
The guilt that she was carrying his child and not telling him about it.
"Who about you? Do you regret it when you saw Myles and Mia together?"
Bonnie held the steering wheel, "Are you really going to ask me such a question when I'm driving?
There are three lives in the car."
Yanis didn't say a word.
They sighed at the same time. They really sympathized with each other.
In fact, Bonnie was not as she looked, without a care in the world. She could be even more sensitive
than Yanis sometimes.
Yanis could see that Bonnie loved Myles just the same as Myles loved her.
However, what had happened in the past was like a time bomb, buried in Bonnie's heart. It might
explode at any time.
So, Bonnie had chosen to give up. This was probably the best choice.
After all, if the secret was found by Myles one day, he might leave her.
It was probably better to leave him before she fell for him.
Bonnie parked the car in the parking space and the two got off.
"Yanis, do you think that car looks a little familiar?" Bonnie had just walked two steps, when she saw
the car parked not far away, she grabbed Yanis's clothes.
After hearing Bonnie's words, Yanis stopped walking.
It did look familiar.
But why would he be here? Shouldn't he be with Neve now?
Just as Yanis and Bonnie stopped, the man standing by the car looked over.
He threw his cigarette butt away the second he saw them.
